- Carl Smith is a thirty-five year old school teacher on his way home to Johnson City, Texas. He claims Jesus Christ never existed, and bases that claim on never having met Jesus in person. But what does it take for a man to know if someone did indeed exist, or if that someone is in fact telling the truth? Maybe we'll find out from Carl Smith, because before he reaches Johnson City, he'll make one brief stop....in the Daylight Zone.

Dave Christiano produced a TV series entitled 7TH STREET THEATER. This is a drama series about five Christian actors who perform a weekly stage show for their community. There are 3 Seasons in the series and a total of 64 episodes. Season One has 24 episodes, Season Two has 20 and Season Three has 20. This series was produced by Dave Christiano. I Love the way they did this, just like The Twilight Zone! I grew up with the original run of the show in the late 50's-early 60's. There was an episode when I was 7 that scared me to death, and made me think I was really a robot instead of human, and had me fully convinced for a couple of years! Anyway, these movies do a Great Job of evangelizing!! Kudos! God Bless!!!

If anything this movie did plant a few seeds which, God willing, will be watered by faithful Christians and then, God willing, will come to fruition.
Love this movie. Saw it on TBN a few years ago. Hilarious, "what kind of money is this, the only kind I've got"
Hilarious is right, but salvific it is not. It does show how big a joke the modern way of salvation is though, and maybe that's why it was made in the first place.

Never for a minute forget the love God has for you, His love for you is so vast, unmeasured, boundless and free, His suffering and death on the cross was for your sins that you can accept Him as Saviour and Lord of your life and that you might not just live for now and then die without a hope but that you can have the hope of eternal life as you turn from sin and live a holy life through Jesus Christ. His requirements for you is that you accept Him, love Him and keep ALL of His Ten Commandments in return so that you can be saved from hell and eternal death before it's too late, that you can live forever. (John 14 verse 15), (Revelation 22 verse 14), (Exodus 20 verse 1 to 17) Read from a King James Version Bible, because they have change words in many of the other Bibles.
How about trying the original languages? For instance John 3:16 starts "For God so loved the world..." but everybody misinterprets the shortest word there "so". "So" in this context is better translated "in this way" and the verse now reads - For God in this way loved the world...
The emphasis is on god's love, not the world, giving Him the glory only He deserves.
Those who lie & claim that the Lord never existed needs physical evidence to prove their lie.

Hilarious but sadly true. Just look at the many un-Biblical mega-churches that are flourishing in the USA today. One pastor of a mega-church even says that we do not need the O.T. contradicting Jesus himself, but the sheep are still there.
