Thank you so much for making this video! We used year one this year, and I was hoping the picks of books are more interesting.
Enjoyed the review! Thank you

This is so great😀.
That was very introductory you are so good at explaining things .
Thanks!
Hi Jessica.....this video is very helpful for those who homeschool. I think homeschooling is very good for the children. God Bless you because I know it takes planning and time. Blessings ♥️
Thank you so much!
love the literature texts. all the texts in fact seem quite comprehensive. hats off to all homeschooling moms.
Thank you Ms Karen! Hope you are doing good!
I love your curriculum videos.
Thank you!
Please do one for year 3 hs when you are at that point. Thanks!
Love this review! Thanks so much. It was nice to see that the high school layout is very similar to the other previous levels. I think I will need to one day set up desks in my older children's bedrooms so that they can concentrate alone without the noise of younger siblings. Where did your daughter usually work on school? In her room? The table? I am so curious. We have a small space for a big family like you and I know the older kids will need to school a lot longer in the coming years.
So she actually worked in the school room. We did our schooling at the dining room table. But a desk in a bedroom is a good option too. She preferred to be in the mix with us.
It’s me! Marilyn Wilson in Laurel, MS. I changed my face.😊 I so wish these had been available when my children were in school. I would love to have my 4 Grandchildren to learn from these. ⭐️
Hey Ms Marilyn! Hope you are doing well!
Happy FriYAY Eve y'all.
Hope you have a lovely weekend!
@@FieldsFullHouse thank you. You too.
Good morning 🌻
Good morning!
Have a great school year with all the lids😄😉🐹🐷🐻😘🐺🐸🐽🐼🐯
Good review, will you be doing a curriculum video for this homeschool year x
I might… I’m not changing a lot. So I’ve considered not doing a video for it.
I don't know if this would work but try speech to text on the computer word processing program. My son also hated writing but he disliked the act of writing not actually doing the paper. It worked wonders for my son. Then all he had to do was edit it and check his Grammer, punctuation etc. Just a thought.
Will you be doing more high school from them? Do they have them?
Thanks for the review!
As someone who’s a conservative Christian, I’ve heard that TGTB is Mormon, is that brought up throughout the curriculum? Definitely appreciate that our currently curriculum is Christian, but the good and the beautiful sounds like a great curriculum too other than possibly that
No it isn’t discussed at all.
If you had someone going into 12th grade but is just now switching to TGTB LA, would you use level 1,2, or 3 ?
It would depend on what they need and what they’ve done. I feel like level 1 was the best. Had more to it.
@@FieldsFullHouse okay thank you. I was actually leaning towards level one because it seems like it has more of a comprehensive review of grammar etc. That's exactly what I need to hear to help with my decision. I was worried it would be too low of a level for a 12th grader but it seems like they are all pretty much the same grade levels just covering different themes?? Is that correct?
@@TacklingTheGiants yes I would say so. It’s repetitive and different readers. But level one seemed richer. TGATB has said that all 3 levels completed is 4 English credits.
@@FieldsFullHouse thank you so much!!
I appreciate this feedback. I'm still stuck on a writing/language curriculum for my uprising 9th grader. So many options! Discernment is key. Enjoy the rest of the summer and best wishes on the upcoming school year.
Thanks! Look at essentials in writing for a writing curriculum. It could go along with TGATB as well
@@FieldsFullHouse Much appreciated. 🤗
@@FieldsFullHouse have you combined the two? My 9th grader used EIW this year and did very well with it, but I’m wanting to add TGTB next year to cut down on all the extra resources for literature, grammar, vocab… Just wondering how I would combine the two or if that would be a lot.
@@laurenaddison I also wonder if the two would be too much. My 10th grader is struggling with how much work is in our Sonlight curriculum so I was considering TGTB + IEW Structure & Style, but I don't want to overwhelm her.
Jessica you can tell you have a degree in teaching . you had to be a great teacher! God bless!
Thank you!
I do not blame her I love reading but not the. $85 o last bed math more! Not really geometry but regular math and account ti g snd finite mate. Maybe stat got all /ms in tbem just not fro Drth. Bit msube o r csnfyjr test ‘s. Ok but not my SMS. writing. But it is easier when you enjoy the reading
This was strictly for homeschool moms. For the rest of us…boring
ouch! more to the point, it's so easy for some of us to talk stupidness!
Did you miss the title of this post? It clearly stated this was about her school curriculum! Maybe you need it more than you think your reading skills need brushing up Lol 😂
@@kumulanigirl8782 hi! it's info. it's info. it's info. lol
Well a large family mom is going to talk about being a mom and homeschooling!?!... No need to be rude
It’s a curriculum review, not intended for everyone to watch. I will do homeschool videos and curriculum reviews from time to time. The curriculum blesses our family and we are thankful. You watching, even though it may not be of your interest does help and bless our family and we appreciate the support!
