    That's such a good point--young children naturally love to draw and create, and somewhere along the way, they stop. Something about wanting to get it just right. Teaching them how to draw is empowering! Great review! Glad to see TGTB continues with their high standard of learning! 💕💕

    @FieldsFullHouse I'm thinking of skipping year 1 of TGATB High School LA and doing 2 and 3. Do you think the courses build on each other and is there content not to be missed in each level?

    • @FieldsFullHouse
      @FieldsFullHouse  Před 4 měsíci +1

      No I don’t think it builds. It prob fine to skip level 1.

    How do you feel this would be for a struggling student? My high schooler is having a rough time understanding English

    • @FieldsFullHouse
      @FieldsFullHouse  Před 3 lety

      I would look closely at the sample. It does not have a lot of repetition. So take that into consideration.

    Im worried bout the high school years, my kids won’t ask for help so it means I have to be close by ready. I’m hoping by the high school years they are more able. We love the art projects in TGTB. We do TGTB wiv dyslexic kids and found it intense but works to improve their reading. I’ve changed some of the writing assignments in the lower levels depending on wat they are.

    • @FieldsFullHouse

      I was worried about high school too! Still am! Just keep moving forward!

    Interesting to hear your thoughts on the high school curriculum. If I had my time back I would have home schooled my son.
    What is it about pregnancy that makes your hair so gorgeous?!?!

  • @tracyat3wisemenhomeschool29

    What credit was issued for that curriculum? Just English/Literature? With the art can they receive any credit?

    • @FieldsFullHouse
      @FieldsFullHouse  Před 3 lety +1

      I don’t think it’s enough work to count as an art credit. This may vary by state though. And yes she will have and English I credit.

    'The good and the beautiful' looks really good but, what bout math/science/geography etcetera, do you incorporate these into her schooling experience?

    • @FieldsFullHouse
      @FieldsFullHouse  Před 3 lety

      Yes of course, those subjects are a separate curriculum.
      Geography is incorporated in The Good and the Beautiful, though.
