The refs really messed this up. Blue alliance should have been DQed, red alliance partner was in possession of 4 discs and still scoring, field failure that was clearly match affecting, and then to top it all off, they all get on the field with their shoes on!
The real DQ are to the Refs and the Field... So basically just the ref because they are on field maintenance duty. Also I'm glad I'm not the only one mad about the shoes.
In one of our matches we wer allied with a clawbot and the other team was a no show and clawbot. Neither of the other two robots could score any points except low goals. within the first 10 seconds the opposing clawbot got rubber bands from its claw tangled on our intake, resulting in a disablement for both of us while the other clawbot managed to tip itself over, so for the whole 1.45 no points were scored and all the robots were unable to move. The other team ended up being disqualified for deliberate entanglement
thats what we were told to do, dqs happen after the match, and because we could get ourselves back inside the expansion limit we could move in the last 10 seconds
I had a match where It was every body a push bot except for one using intake rollers to get disks into our low goal (the team in the video) and every auton except mine didnt work. The field's net fell down, the blue high goal tilted and almost every bot broke except for my team we only lost a rubber band. We had to restart autonomous because the field wasn't set up right. The match was a mess.
My very first game I was on a team with a pushbot against another pushbut and a clawbot. We lost 9-16. We had a robot with everything (roller, flywheel, intake). What happened that game: Our robot could only go forward and left, but we ended getting stuck on the opponent's low goal barrier in the end, getting us 1 or 2 expansion tiles), our pushbot got stuck on some disks, getting the other one or two expansion tiles. The opponent's clawbot got stuck on the netting on their side, scoring them nothing at the end of the game [They were entirely in their low goal, along with some disks that we managed to shoot in that missed completely]. The pushbot got every other point on the field, through expansion and getting disks in the low goal) Edit: I should say that we lost that bad because three of our four wheels disconnected, and we never checked them. (This was my entire team's first game ever, we ended up qualifying for our state game in the second comp by good luck, and getting to semifinals in that.)
@@cucubob9535 Oh yeah 3 of our 4 wheels disconnected before, we were really sloppy during that first comp, but it was a learning experience. We went 3-5 that, 9-0 the next, 3-5 after that (The school hosting this one was hours behind schedule, skipping over some games where we had really good teammates, just bad luck), and 6-4 in the states game

Also, the early expansion and it's going out-of-the-field instant DQ for the whole alliance
@@argynews2825 Depends on if this was a qualification or elimination match
Even the field reset was messed up at the start

@@shortvids2299 probably the refs just told us we won by dq at the end

this might be the best video i’ve ever seen
When they counted the match they were wearing shoes on the field 🙄
I lost it at 1:32 "Who did that?"
Without a doubt the most spin up match of all time
bro the team that early expanded outside the field and just wrap themselves in their string trying to make it look like it never happened

A certified Vex Robotics moment right here
This is the most spin-up match of all time
Both teams should have been dq'ed and the field broke. Definitly worst match of the year😂
That match should not have counted the red goal was broken and deemed as unusable there for the match should be replayed
Only in SNE 💀
That match had to have been replayed

We didn’t LOL. Both teams argued for it, but the judge said too bad. Then they actually screwed in the high goal
