Hello there...I am the person who sent you that long email about Elvis and other stuff...as for Whitney Houston, I have read that it is almost a universal consensus that there are only 3 other female pop singers in the last 50 years that are on the same level as Whitney Houston and they are: Mariah Carey, Babara Streisand, and Celine Dion....I think most people will agree to this, from what I have seen and read...maybe you can react to some songs from these other 3 singers as well?...I would suggest with Celine Dion....I think you will definitely like her a lot and I think your sister might too as well....anyways, I really enjoy your channel and best of luck going forward!
It’s subjective. Whitney, for me as well, is the goat. Barbara, Celine, Mariah… Judy Garland even or Lara Fabian… all superb singers but it’s Whitney who does it for me.

There's a reason singers and music of the past simply doesn't compare to those currently on the charts know! Times were drastically different, intentions more focused, clear direction was paramount! Vocalist actually mattered and cared how they're perceived! She's the originator of the Holy Trinity! Then Mariah next Céline id put Adele and Christina in that mix also Brandi Carlise!

It's not that great singers don't exist today - Ariana Grande being an amazing young voice as an example - its what they choose to sing, how it's packaged, produced, and augmented electronically that kind of kills it. At the same time you have people who simply look good, or act wild, and pray that auto-tune and an army of producers can keep the whole scam running long enough for everyone to cash out or for the singer to announce her line of makeup or whatever. I think that anyone with talent like Whitney can still easily break through and rise to the top but first the people with the talent need to be driven by the desire to sing great songs rather than just grab cash because authentic talent clears its own path effortlessly.
