The Ganzo F753m1 is their best knife. This review proves it with a G753 comparison.

    Just found your channel. This review is now 5 years old, but honestly I think it is still timely because I recently had my eye on the F753M and I'm sure most all of your comments are still appropriate. I liked the way you presented the specs of the knives and the comparisons.

    Ganzo knives are really good for their price.
    I'm a seaman and i use Ganzo 727m at work.
    It gets the job done and I'm not afraid to drop it into the sea or just lose it because it's pretty cheap.

    Bottom line, you still can't beat the price, even if its now up to 19.00 for the blade...If only I had bought 50 back in the day...

    I received an orange F753m three weeks ago and it's incredible. Pivot much smoother than my previous ganso G6801. Yes, the axis spring is stiff. Knife is very lightweight compared to its blade length which is one of my major requirements in an EDC knife. Other Ganzo's can be twice as heavy but barely longer. Came shaving sharp, no gaps/finish defects.

    Nice work Advanced Knife Bro, I am subscribing.I like your humor, style and candid opinion. The little blue line to clarify measurements is super helpful and informative. Your videos are a good length also and not too pretentious. I own a lot (possibly 100 knives, I know I need an intervention) of varying costs and quality and really like the Ganzo product I think it is the hands down leader in bang for the buck. I am having a hard time accepting this global world we live in with awesome knockoffs and insane prices, but hey I bought 12. Keep up the good work.

    Thanks for one of the best knife reviews I've seen in awhile. I just ordered one of these in orange. I appreciate your attention to detail, and your actual use of the knife for cutting during the review. I own a Benchmade, several, Spyderco's, and a couple of customs. I bought this one for my wife's tackle box, why am I more excited about getting this one than I was waiting for any of my other knives. I've been warned that Ganzo's are strangely addictive, why is that?

      Because they offer blade types and styles in good quality from established brand designs at one tenth of the price. It's the perfect entry point of collection and trying stuff out. They also do their heat treat real good

    I have the F7531 CF and is one of my favorite knives even though I have a lot of expensive knives. But for $12 I'll be adding the F753M. Would make a good traveling knife when going to places that anything over 3 inches is illegal. Great review btw.

    There is a Ganzo with nested liners, the F759M, a Delica/Meadowlark clone. Pretty good knife, too.

    This video actually convinced me to buy one of these (got mine from power cutlery) and I've been carrying it for a few months. One of the pocket clip screws fell out, and with investigation work I found that the liner had been stripped. If I were a lefty I could switch the clip side and would never know... probably going to give it to a left handed friend. Probably. Maybe. I still really enjoy this knife for what it is.

  • @galootlovestools
    @galootlovestools Před 6 lety +1

    Love this knife. Bought it in green and decided I needed an orange knife so I bought it in orange. And then carbon fiber. I have carried the green version enough that the lock has broken in and the blade flicks smoothly. It locks up solid. I don't expect it to fail because I am not going to beat on this little Chinese jewel of a knife with a small log. Actually, I look at videos of people batoning knives and think, "that's what a froe is for." I own a froe and I beat on it with a f-ing froe club and it makes batoning any knife look ridiculous in comparison. So this Ganzo is the perfect EDC knife for me given that I live in a state where carrying a folding knife with over a 3" blade in a pocket is a felony offense.

    I think I have over 20 models of ganzo knives. All things concidered my opinion is that the G747 and the aluminium bodied version of F758 is the best models so far. Both are automatics and are not sold by Gearbest. Among the non autos the g729 (pm2 clone) is a great user and the ball bearing flipper G7522 amazing value.

    I love mine! Crazy to think that the built quality is so nice at gas station knife prices! Ganzo now makes D2 blades... i know YOU know hahaha... the lock is definitely stiffer than my benchmades but once compressed the knife flies as smooth as my benchmades... its dead center as well... my pivot came super tight but 1/8 of a turn and she was good to go!

    For anyone who needs to take a bit of pressure off the pivot, you want to use the T8 on the right side (pocket clip). I believe the other side is a D Chicago. I could be wrong. Start with just an eighth of a turn counterclockwise. The axis lock still puts a lot of pressure on the cam and I don’t know how to solve that other than reducing the spring tension on the lock. Probably not worth it to do that much ‘smithing on a $15 knife.

I felt they wanted to make a good knife to a bigger player that opted not to go with this product after all for some reason. I'm happy I don't have to pay 2-3 times the money for it, now it's my edc.

      On a side note, if you have Amazon Prime, a Mora Craftline Pro S Allround is under $9. I have the previous gen knife and outside of micro edge chipping (from cutting thick wire in a hurry) it's the sharpest most practical thing I've gotten. I've spent more on Diamond plates.

      This sounds familiar, I was the same for quite some years then at one point I got a victorinox with a locking blade. Within the same year I had a delica 4 (before they came up with the full flat grind ones), wanted something larger and added an Endura 4 FFG with pretty blue handles to the collection.
      That one I used for quite some time, but then there was a discount on the aluminium handled Benchmade 940 which has seen most use since I got that one. And very recently because I had seen it pass by too often and it looked so nice... and in part due to your review reminding me of it an 940-1.
      That took me some time thinning the edge out a bit on that one and getting a mirror polish on the newly exposed metal, I thought the original 940 was a lot of work already. But so far its holding up well with a 30ish degree microbevel in my use, it also looks good and feels nice in the hand. I don't see myself upgrading to anything else soon right now, but who knows what the future brings.
      The pivot on the new 940-1 still needs some breaking in though compared to my old benchmade (or manual polishing if it takes too long?). But that one wasn't as smooth as its now upon receiving it either, I suppose that's a good excuse to repeatedly open and close the knife right?

    So I have the g753 and its not a bad knife at all. I just ordered the 7522 my 3rd ganzo, the 710 being my first. Not sure if you've seen this model or not, but it's a flipper with ball bearing pivots a bolster lock and fullered blade. I would like to see a reveiw on this one sometime and get your opinion. I just ordered one and it should be here next wk. I'll get back with ya when it arrives and let ya know what I think. Cheers bro🍻

    • @AdvancedKnifeBro
      @AdvancedKnifeBro  Před 7 lety

      +Josh Johnson I have that one but never got around to reviewing it. I bought it a long time ago- and the blade centering was off. It wasn't super easy to adjust the pivot because I think it had loctite. It's an ok knife... not much faster deploying than any of the others without pivots.

    • @joshjohnson5307
      @joshjohnson5307 Před 7 lety +1

      Advanced Knife Bro well shit....sounds like your reveiw wasn't a good one or maybe you got a lemon. I'm not terribly worried about blade centering so it wouldnt be a deal breaker for me. As long as it functions like it's supposed to ie; flips open when I want it to, stays closed when I need it to, stays locked while open and cuts like a $20 knife.
      Most of the reviews I've watched people have been pleased, with a few not so happy customers. Hope I end up with a good one! Thanks for the feedback hombre

    • @AdvancedKnifeBro
      @AdvancedKnifeBro  Před 7 lety

      Yeah it's an alright knife and I my wife used it. I always planned on reviewing it, but I had to many other projects at the time. Oh well! Plus now the blade is kind of rusty... it's proabbly the only rusty knife in the house, but since I didn't carry it I guess it wasn't cleaned off once when it was wet.

    My problem with the G753 with the carbon fiber scales was.... the carbon fiber scales. Slick as glass. Give me something uglier and rougher. Seems like this new 753 does just that, while shrinking the whole thing down. Kinda want the knife now... but like you I have "better" knives to carry so ... why?

    • @AdvancedKnifeBro
      @AdvancedKnifeBro  Před 7 lety +3

      Exactly. It's nice but I got knives with slightly longer blades that are light enough for me. This is a good option if you have a few Ganzos and want a light option when you don't want a piece of lead in your pocket. If you have the 940-1 like I do... then there's no need for this one. Maybe something for your car if you roll out blind?

      Yeah man... I'll throw something together in a few weeks. I will say though... it comes down to the 940-1 and PM2. PM2 if you're on a budget... 940-1 if you can afford a little more. The only real drawback to the PM2 is the weight... even though it's still pretty light and I have no problem with it. But if you're considering the Spider Monkey then the 4 oz PM2 may not be a problem.
