I just started drumming and I thought this sound sounded pretty easy to play, I love Megadeth so it’s a nobrainer to learn it I though. I was NOT expecting the double bass drum kicks dude, absolutely sick

fucking awesome technique and perfect playing. i will say one thing, the hi hat part before the double bass ride part at the end is actually played on one foot (hat on 1, kick on 1e, hat on 1+, kick on 1a, so on and so forth). you can hear him slowly open the hats towards the end, and then he goes into full double, which adds more emphasis on the ending of the song, sort of a journey to the destination if you will. however, i will say that hearing it the way you played it sounded so sick and powerful as all hell, and i actually really like it. slightly different take on a song i’ve heard and played to 1000 times and it gives it a slightly different and subjectively better listening experience. fucking killer cover, dude.

Is Gary your fav megadeth drummer? I ask bc they have bunch of great drummers with huge skills. My personal choice would be Gar due to the fact that of his ability to play jazz/swing which he put perfectly into metal music. But of Nick Menza and Jimmy De grasso must be mentioned as well in this discution.

No, quello che vedi è lo studio dove faccio i video, in altro studio ho set praticamente fotocopia tutto microfonato, in alcuni video puoi vederlo some immagine di anteprima!

No, it's a ludwig deep rock from early 90's, but it's quite similar to a marching one!

Incredible as always Edo! Can you talk about your mic set up? Only using overheads? or only using a room mic? Just curious because I used to see you mic snare top, snare bottom and each tom and so on. Also tell us about the snare, is that 13" x 6.5"? Just wondering thank you!
I got another setup with mics in where I do lessons, closing mics with 24 channels! In the video setup snare is a Ludwig deep rock, 14x10!
