How To Repair A Torn Wiper Blade

  • This is an experiment gone right. I was surprised that the wiper blades on a brand new car lasted only a couple of years before I had to replace them and spend a fortune on new ones from the dealership. A couple years later, the same thing happened and the wiper blades started to tear again. I did not want to keep spending 50 bucks on new wiper blades every couple of years so I thought I'd try repairing them. It worked. It will be interesting to see how long the repair lasts before I'll be forced to replace them. (Update: Sunday, June 6, 2021 - I drove from Greensboro to Charlotte in the rain and they held up nicely.)
Begin able to delay replacing something is a great way to save money. The paper shredder I fixed back in 2014 is still working great. Had I purchased a new one, I would have likely had to replace it a few times since then as well.
Thanks for watching, and don't forget to subscribe.

I'd do just that. Wiper blades coming out of dealers nowadays also got torn off in a short time, which is ridiculous. Thanks for the demo.
