How To Repair A Torn Wiper Blade

- This is an experiment gone right. I was surprised that the wiper blades on a brand new car lasted only a couple of years before I had to replace them and spend a fortune on new ones from the dealership. A couple years later, the same thing happened and the wiper blades started to tear again. I did not want to keep spending 50 bucks on new wiper blades every couple of years so I thought I'd try repairing them. It worked. It will be interesting to see how long the repair lasts before I'll be forced to replace them. (Update: Sunday, June 6, 2021 - I drove from Greensboro to Charlotte in the rain and they held up nicely.)
Begin able to delay replacing something is a great way to save money. The paper shredder I fixed back in 2014 is still working great. Had I purchased a new one, I would have likely had to replace it a few times since then as well.

🎵 His wiper, wiper, wiper, wiper bla-a-ades. Handini just repaired his wiper blades. 🎵
my Audi blades are $100nz come apart so fast. i remember the cheap ones lasting on my old cars for ages. i found this video while googling if anyone was as nuts as myself thinking about super glueing their wipers blades. turns out i have company 😅
I’m glad you found it helpful.
I'd do just that. Wiper blades coming out of dealers nowadays also got torn off in a short time, which is ridiculous. Thanks for the demo.
Your welcome. So far it’s been still holding up.
Is it Audi b7 maybe?
