I have completed diploma in mechanical engineering.I have two years experience in my department.I want to move to IT. could you tell me which one would be good either IT related course and doing engineering degree in part time or engineering in CSE branch ( full time) . How to become a software engineer... After 12 th la irunthu enna pananumunu basics la irunthu podunga sis... Pls
1st year study - Programming language like (Python, C++ , Java etc.... and OOPS) Concentrate on any one programming language and master it.
2nd year Study - Data Structures and algorithms( DSA )
3rd year Study - Full stack web development (MERN(Javascript) or Springboot(Java))
4th year - Do placements
Note : in second year itself choose domain which is suitable for you, here i have mentioned full stack web development but you can choose other domains like Data science( Artificial intelligence), cyber security, cloud computing, blockchain technology etc...
choose any one and study fully....choosing domain is very important.
And importantly , Study subjects like DBMS, Operating system, Computer networks in this 4 years itself.
And solve problems in Geeks for geeks and leetcode as much as possible in these 4 years itself.
And do projects in Full stack web development.
Consitent learing and coding is very important
Do this and you"ll definetly get placed in google or microsoft or whatever faang company you want

Depends on the professor, we can’t always expect clg to reach everything so it’s always better to go ahead and learn by urself too when u don’t find ur clg to be helpful

I am very confused about whether to learn C++ or Java. C++ is considered easier to crack interviews, but Java is considered the most advanced language nowadays, and companies give an advantage to Java software developers. Can you please help me choose one?
Do understand, the programming language doesn't matter, all I can say is Prepare well for DSA(Data Structures &Algo).In terms of programming language both cpp and java are good.CPP is most effectively used in competitive programming, Java has a lot of libraries and is used by most top product-based companies. Having said that just be efficient on one language of your choice, along with DSA!

Generally, interview questions will not be shared because the interviewer asks the candidate to acknowledge NDA(Non-disclosure Agreement). Google interview questions will be based on Medium, Hard DSA problems similar to leetcode!
