    To have the courage to rip up an already nice scenic part and replace it with an even more credible area is top notch modelling. You little fusspot you!.... As punch and judy would say `Thats the way to do it'. Brilliant Paul. Absolutely brilliant.

    Hi Paul, it is lovely to have a Galgorm update again, a real Christmas treat 🎅🏻 Seems like you have been taking inspiration from outdoors with that “forty shades of green” ☘️ we have to flaunt our Oirish specialities 😂😂😂😂 Looking forward to your station build, it should be epic, and hopefully “wee wet finger” will return for the painting 🤔😂😂😂 Very best of fraternal seasons greetings from County Wicklow 🎄

    At the start Paul when you bring the top section into frame for a comparison, whoa what a difference, totally different and more realistic looking. With the length of time involved in doing scenery, it still takes a large set too rip it up, and do it over. Well worth it though ;).

    What a difference it makes using greenscene grasses. What i love about them is you get 4 colours and thats pretty much all you need, other manufacturers over complicate it by offering blends of way to many colours and wws as you know are the biggest one for doing just that with colours that are to vibrant which give an un-realistic appearance of not chosen correctly.
    Great to see the use of fine turf being added as highlights, works wonders.
    Top stuff.

    • @TimberSurf
      @TimberSurf Před 3 lety +1

      I like to mix colours myself and lengths then apply in patches with different combinations, never used WWS, but would not want premixed!

    • @GalgormHall
      @GalgormHall  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks Tim, it’s very much your work and badgering that inspired me to make the change and I’m so glad I did. I have to agree with you too on limiting the colours in the application. Any additional highlighting can be achieved with the use of the blended turfs. Thanks mate. Paul

    Have a great Christmas and New Year Paul. Another manufacturer of foliage matting is Silfur (not sure if that's the right spelling - Rob at Stephen Bennett (US layout) uses it a lot to good effect) and sometimes a search for wargaming rather than model railway material gets results. Look forward to more videos in 2021. Cheers
