This much behind the scenes is such a treat. Feels way more like being at the event when you get a lot of the random stuff happening too, including just catching what the riders are chatting about as they wait for the flags etc. You have got to keep this going even after you heal up, Jono!

Jono your coverage is so sick mate! I love the "live cross overs" to BK for the "updates" lol that's so well done! And its so good to get the behind the scenes in the pits, i watch BKs, Jenaynays, & Braytons vlogs, but yours have a professional/hilarious element to them, & you still manage to catch things that they don't.. And it's super sick that you try to include everyone & introduce many of the unknown or not massively known names & boost their confidence in doing so.. Nice one boosting & introducing Jess Blewitt & Sammy G too, as a kiwi its awesome to see them fully shred. Its good to see Sammy G back from his injury, if he enters elite DH WC next year it will be interesting to see how well he does.. Anyway love the content, cant wait to see the race.. Road gap is 26ft down and 30ft out But those stats are from 4 years ago on GMBNs channel Dan and his build crew made it bigger so So my guess is at least 60ft give or take a few The only thing bigger is your balls to hit it lol
"Twelve G's" for winning that race, is that what Adam said at the end there? I am sorry, but $12K is not a large enough purse for the winner of that race. These are the best riders in the world - the winner should get at least 10x that amount. They are quite literally putting their life/career on the line after all...
Maybe but as an eg of just how utterly shit UCI is, despite all the profit they must have taken from all the sponsorship deals like Mercedes etc.. That $12K is still 4 times what 1st place gets you at an elite men's UCI WC race. And i think for the juniors its a pathetic $500, maybe even less. Jenaynay got $150 Euro for 3rd place in one of BKs vlogs earlier in the year. Imagine how pathetic that would be if she was a privateer.. Next year the best thing that can happen would be for Redbull to invest & collaborate with Crankworx & IXS downhill races & create a proper side competition thats actually a WORLD competition, & then the riders union can tell UCI where to shove it.. You’re right the UCI needs to step up in a big way - but I really like your suggestion for them to create a competing entity. That could really help the riders & the sport as a whole. Looks like a dji, maybe the mini?or the mavic? 😂 I think could be wrong. I think the mini is probably the best bet for amateur use re the cost.
