It’s fun to watch you whip this. I’m 64 and only wish I could beat it at that speed. I have to do everything on easy or normal, but it’s still fun and gets me moving. That’s what’s important for me.
I am going on 59 and started only on normal. Then every now and then put it on hard and then back to normal. Normal then seemed so slow. So I did the same with Hard. I do a few songs on hard to warm up then go to expert for a couple songs. Goal is just not to fail! LOL Then back to hard and usually I will post a highscore because then it seems slow. Really strange but it works. Just go for it!@@chilly578
Keeping moving is vital to living a youthful life especially at 64!and best saber is phenomenal at doing that. Not only that it’s good for mental health too. Both left and right sides of the brain are being worked, stimulating multiple senses, music and exercise go hand in hand and with the release of alllll of the chemicals endorphins, serotonin, oxytocin, and the other too. I even got my mom to play a couple times a week her life has turned around she doesn’t even take antidepressants anymore.
Not only that my niece and nephew got an oculus, I have the 2 and 3 we all have family night once a week. 2x on week.
So keep doing what you’re doing.
Keep going at it, and you will improve. Then you will find normal level like watching a car pass by at 5 miles an hour. Will be excruciatingly slow.

The fact that vr can do that level of real time rotoscoping and composting just made 1000 sfx artists cry. Like Jedi turning evil cry.
Remember when you sat there and handkeyed that mask for days and days and then your shot was cut anyways? Pepereage farm does and then you chocked pepereage farm until he blacked out. Now pepereage farm remember much of anything from that day.

I literally discovered Lindsey Stirling through fan made beatsaber levels. I’m so happy she’s actually in the game now 😁
I love the fact that beat saber actually makes you dance and playing it otherwise is just not possible ;)
or you can just hold your arms still and flick your wrists until you break them
synth Riders makes you do a lot of dance moves, especially on the electroswing songs. it's really fun to watch someone play them.
And it is really cool how the kind of dance also fits the type music: Long swings like bow strikes for Lindsay Stirling feel very different to Eye of the Tiger for instance, that makes you kinda mimic a boxing match

I am impressed she did nearly as well as I do in this game ;) I am nearly 70 and am slowly but surely working my way up the tunes, I have mastered Twinkle Twinkle and going for Mary had a Little Lamb next, getting closer to these girls one tune at a time lol.
I just got VR and Beat Saber. This song is amazing, and I'm glad I'm not the only person who vibes with the beat while they play. Everyone else I see play plays like robots.

You make it all look so easy. I havent been playing long (and i havent played in a while too) so i can omly do like normal at the moment. Those moves where you have to follow the line are always so interesting to me and i loved watching how you handled it! Hold up on the Hold up. Did Beat Saber get harder because that song kicked my a$$? Had to go down to Expert and still failed, though I eventually got through it. Otter makes this look way too easy. I pictured myself looking more like Jabba the Hutt fending off ravenous swamp mosquitos.

I also practice with real swords and honestly it really helps with the shoulder movements (building up strength so I don't rip my arms out of their sockets as I try to replicate what she does💀)

OtterWorldly has done a lot of Lindsey Stirling maps in the past that I was almost convinced OtterWorldly's name was Lindsey. Hell, maybe it is! I only got an A on my first attempt. Sucks when EasyOffset isn't available for this version of Beat Saber.

To all of the expert Beat Sabers what methods did you use to get there? I'd love some tips. I just started doing fairly good on the hard level so I have quite a ways to go. Lol
It's been a while since I fired Beat Saber up; are the "trails" leading into the blocks functional or decorative? Do you have to follow them to get max points?
I come for the booty wiggle, but never just skip to the end.

I really love your videos and it helps me get better to Beat Saber but I dont understand something. In my game, your blue is my purple and your purple is my blue. The blocks are switched. Idk if it make sens and if soemone knows the problem pls tell me.

I can only get thru hard on this and any others let alone this, i can't get over how good some of you people are at this game
These days I can beat *most* songs on Expert+ including this one, but I remember when I would be in awe of people like this too! I remember not being able to fathom the skill. It takes time, but anyone can get there, especially considering you already got to the stage where you can beat songs on Hard! You got this, never give up!
@@justinquiring445 not many songs and some barely lol. Hand eye coordination isn't my strong suit lol
You can get to Expert for sure!
My tip would be to look at how OtterWorldly makes cuts. She is dancing but does not waste movement on any overswings when she does not have time for it. That was key for me to get to expert. Don't cut with you whole arm, it is too slow. Get the elbow to position with minimum movement and make the cut with forearm and wrist. I play with Oculus controllers in claw grip and use even more wrist movement and less elbow movement. It is better to make 50 point cut in time then 100 point cut too late. And crank up the speed on your favorite Hard songs way up. 😁
BTW I stalled on expert and have not figured out how to get to Expert+ any other way then remembering the songs by repeating and repeating which is super boring. Too much flying rubbish to "read" the cubes in time as I can on most Expert songs that are not super dense with cubes.
