The Advantage of Having the Bible - Romans 3:1-8 - Skip Heitzig

Those who have been raised in a home with spiritual foundations and the teaching of Scripture have an edge over those who were never exposed to such benefits. The advantage of having access to the Bible is enormous, but it is not a fail-safe. Paul addressed the Jews who were caretakers of God’s own words, and much can be applied to anyone who has the advantage of revealed truth but fails to take it to heart.

When I told my family about giving my life to Jesus , my mother said you know what it means , you have to carry the Cross !! my sister aske me were you not Christian before ? my father said nothing . He was the First person in my family open his heart to Jesus and then my mum and then my little brother . I believe we are chosen by God and we also ought to share the word of God with others . Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart". It may hurt like a surgeon with a scalpel, but it exposes and destroys the cancerous tumors of sin that resides is each one of us. Keep teaching the truth Skip.... good stuff!
