Well made documentary! I love how the Fort McMurray Historical Society has been working hard to preserve their local history, what an inspiration to all small heritage organizations!
As a history buff I have been keenly aware of the importance of waterways in Canadian history.
Well done!
This was really great to watch! I grew up in Fort McMurray during my early childhood, but I left before I got interested in history and as such I've never known much about its past (though I vaguely remember going to the Oil Sands Discovery Centre there). I'd love to go back and see those boats that they've set up.
Being from Lac La Biche, I sure found this to most interesting aswell as heart warming.
Good video i want to make Documentary's like this
Imagine though, calling yourself an explorer while employing a guide to show you around.
Anyone have any idea which island that was with the remains of the steamship McMurray?
