Simply Dimash's operatic voice. He was sought after earlier in his life to pursue a career in opera, being offered a position at Astana Opera Co. "The Pearl Fishers' Duet" is probably the greatest male duet in classic opera, from "The Pearl Fishers", by Georges Bizet, 1863.

Dimash is singingbas a lyrical tenor here, not bass. If you want to hear his deeper baritone bass vocals then watch El Amor en ti or Stranger. This is opera, its prescribed and you cannot deviate. Plaacido is performing as a baritone in this piece. It was by invitation of Placido who was introduced to Dimash by his grandson and Placido became a fan of Dimash. Dimash was invited to this Virtuosos competition for young people in classical music as a fellow judge and Placido Domingo asked him to perform with him in a duet. Dimash was invited to join the Astana Opera when he was 18 but he politely declined to persue his own path so this way of singing is nothing new for him. Dimash has the greatest vocals on the planet and Placido was just as honoured to sing with him. Still in his 20s, Dimash will dominate world music in his own time, but I am sure this collaboration will be a great addition to his CV ❤

Maestro Domingo is singing the baritone part, since at 83 , he says he can’t hit those high tenor notes any longer. He learned about Dimash through his grandson and upon meeting Dimash announced he wanted to sing a duet with Dimash. They had like 2 practices😳
Dimash is actually singing the lyrical tenor part but is singing in classical Bel Canto style, very covered , round and full, which makes it sound deeper than it really is.
It's very nice that you are one of the few who know who Placido Domingo is. So many reactors had no idea of the size and importance of Placido Domingo. Even if you don't listen to opera, this name was very popular in the media. And Dimash actually matured, he entered "manly, victorious age" / Thank you.
Impressive indeed. Dimash was offered a tenor post at the Astana Opera fresh out of university where he was classically trained, but Dimash turned it down to pursue his own musical journey. Thank God he did, because how else would we, worldwide Dears, would ever get to know this once in a thousand years voice? Placido was one of the original 3 tenors which Dimash had dreamed since childhood to one day collaborate with. This was a huge dream come true for Dimash. Only love and respect for Dimash❤

Hello. I'll put you in context of how they met. It is an event that takes place every year. They are children with special talents in music, they play flute, piano, etc. I believe that this event was formed by Plácido Domingo and it is in Budapest Hungary, who by the way gives a concert there on May 20th. The people who appeared on camera are part of the Jury, as are Plácido Domingo and Dimash. The event is called: Virtuosos. In a very large hall, Dimash was with other people and in front Plácido also arrives with other people. The normal thing is that the one with the surprised face was Dimash, (there is a video that I'm going to look for and pass on the link) When Plácido approaches and sees Dimash, he leans back and, as if he were a fan, the expression on his face It was from 😀 He tells him, you are Dimash!!! He approached him and said: I met you through CZcams, because my 18-year-old grandson is into music, he plays the drums and he told me: Grandpa, look at how this boy sings and you reach 6 Octaves!!! Dimash also told him that he had listened to it on a cassette tape since he was a child. Plácido tells him: we have to make a duo and I look at those who accompanied him, some would be his assistant and other people. He also told him that he could no longer sing Tenor, (He turned 83 yesterday) that he sang Baritone and Dimash told him that he could do everything and I think that Plácido sang Baritone and Dimash sang Tenor. In Classic Opera, one has to sing the notes as they were originally written. If you are singing the Temor as Demash is doing and Placido is singing the Baritone.

Mo*on this is opera, Dimash singing in tenor register, because he is tenor, he is classical educated opera singer, and he can sing in every register, Plasido is tenor too, but her he singing in bariton register, Dimash can sing and female heigh register as alto, mezzo-soprano and soprano that's why his the best voice in the world, this is pure opera, Dimash singing mix between opera and pop because that his choice, that make him happy, he can sing only opera but that don't make him happy, whan you can sing everythin you don't like to sing only one type of mussic
