I think its funny listening to the defense talk about the early years, like Brady wasn't who got them all their wins, while Brady was on the bench before Drews injury the team was 5-13, 0-2 to start 2001, Brady goes in they win 11 games and the rest is history.

It's true but you can understand how egos and personalities play a part in it. By all accounts, Tom Brady was a great teammate and gave credit to all the great players he played with. But the hall of fame level pats defenders like Ty law, Seymour, Harrison, wilfork etc. probably get tired of the media constantly talking about the qb's and Brady getting all of the credit and the fame. Its just like now I'm sure some of the chiefs defenders are tired of only hearing about Mahomes and Kelce.
Brady was the guy from day one.
The team improved with Brady and he obviously was important, but that doesn't change the fact that New England was a defensive-oriented team. I mean they scored 20 points in the Rams game and that's with a defensive TD.

Over the years players have been on the team and went from not a good player to a great player and everyone has said Bill was great at finding players. On the draft Bill finds players know one else could find because bill is great! Rugby players quarterbacks turn into tight ends, nobody’s turned into wide receivers don’t matter, if you’re in the Bill Belick, New England Patriots kind of way you were just good ! players no matter if BILL COACHED. I need to ask a question what makes Tom great? Over the years and year has Tom ever made the most money as a QB ? Could he have? Have great top notch coaches for the patriots left and moved onto other positions. Only two absolutely suck. Have players been great players for the patriots left and been absolute trash. Have players at the end of their career. No offense Randy wanted to play with Tom because they knew they had better than a 50-50 chance to make the Super Bowl on the first day of the season.
