Do Madrid fans have high expectations for him this year? I don’t think so, I think bringing this kid in finally in the same summer that all the eyes and pressure will be on Mbappe was a stroke of genius. Once he sits down and works hard at his game he will be ok.
I wouldnt say high expectations but I do expect something now and then that confirm why Real signed him early. But the kid need time. Vini is a good example on that point, look at how he started when he first joined, and now look at him being one of the best offensive players in the world. As u mention, I do also think Mbappe will be the "talking" point.
It’s the same plan that there was for Arda, camavinga, rodrygo when they first started. Get acclimated, get some reps during garbage time for his confidence and learning purposes. He’s not here to make a difference yet, this is growth, you also want to protect from from crazy opponents and media

We do have high expectations, he might not be a starter, but he will be very important of the bench, and he has the next 15 years to get a starting role. He is not just any talent, he is the best talent coming out of Brazil.

The crazy thing is he wasn't even allowed to train at full intensity back then due to recovering from those knee injuries. Now that he's been given the all clear, he's dialed up physical training. He's unrecognisable from when he arrived. Just like Camavinga, Jude and Valverde. He's quite bulked up and ripped now. He won't be bullied off the ball anymore, and his knees will be protected much more with stronger layers of muscles supporting it.
WITH MORE THAN 5 COMPETITIONS THIS SEASON, HE WILL GET MINUTES
I’m actually expecting him to get decent time. It seems like every season Real is hit with an injury crisis. It wouldn’t surprise me if he gets 20 matches this season.

as a Madrid fan, my expectations are very low. i don't think he'll get much game time and if he does it'll probably be as a sub with like 10-15 minutes left. probably will only get starts in cup games and maybe a few league games against the relegation zone teams if he's lucky. optimistically, he gets like 25-30 appearances in all comps, mostly off the bench, and scores like 7-8 goals. as long as Vini, Mbappe, & Rodrygo are scoring, i'm not worried about much else.
Too much talk about the forwards and not enough about how much time that midfield three will need to get things going

Usually you know how madrid are faring by the end of January and February of the season if we don't drop stupid lil points we usually are clear for the league (recently).
So I think camavinga will make a huge push for contention and Carlo will have to decide how to incorporate him or rotate to accommodate his obvious leap.

Brazil will always be cranking out ridiculous talents up front. Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Neymar, Vini. I think Savinho, Raphinha, and Endrick will come good in time. I really think Endrick could reach Benzema, Suarez levels. He's a very aggressive 9 on the spaces he attacks, like prime Suarez. Mbappe is 24, Rodrygo 23 and Vini jr is 24 so they already have a world class front three for the next decade. And they already have Guler as the young guy waiting for his chance to stake a claim for a place. And now Endrick too. Like presumably with all this attacking talent, Bellingham will have to drop back into midfield but then you give yourself another headache because they have Valverde, Camavinga, Tchouameni
and you have to assume Diaz plays deeper now too. The team is loaded beyond belief.

Pre-Euros Yamal was ahead by a bit due to frequent game time in La Liga and Champions League where he was destroying PSG, until that red card which he got subbed off. Endrick has not had much chance to prove himself yet at club level. After Euros, Yamal being a top 3 player in Spain's win, puts himself way ahead of Endrick as he proved himself for both club and country. At this point, it should be Mbappe that should be compared to Yamal with his low form.
