#CallMeKevin #Minecraft #Indie - Hry
Kevin stumbling upon an ancient city, not knowing anything about it, and summoning the warden by failing to be stealthy is a truly fascinating thing to watch
I was so like hope he goes down there
other people spend hours finding an ancient city and this Boy just has one right under his spawn.
@@Desgaroth I had one too. Bought Minecraft after watching Kevin for many-many hours and then I started mining. Ended up in a frickin ancient city đ€Ł I don't dare to go there. Mined every shrieker and skulk sensor I could and just try to avoid that area lol xd
Was it a coincidence though? I feel like this chunk was chosen for a reason. Kevin seemed too clueless, like he didn't know ancient cities existed; but if that is the case I feel like I'd freak out to find that in minecraft, and Kevin barely reacted. Plus what's the chance of this actually happening
Only he could find a location to have a chunk that has the ancient city. Tactical genius he is
Kevin: âItâs always the three wâs, isnât it? Itâs water, wood, and wbeds.â
Or yâknow⊠wool
Or y'know... Wooosh
I cackled at this part đâ€ïž
or ya know, warden.
Funny how that is a smart joke Kevin did but I can never understand if it was on purpose or not.
I am just always leaning towards Kevin being dumb but he might have hidden some brain cells in that head of his
Wbread.
Also known as wheat.
I LOVE that Kevin's editor named the video file "I don't get paid enough for this." My unexplained rating is 26.9 out of 13.

âIâm in your basement Iâm your prisoner teehee!â Took me OUT
The commitment to sound editing whenever Kevin goes even a tiny bit underwater is something, and I am here for it.
and also the echo when hes in a cave
as someone HoH though it's not the easiest to understand aha... And the captions are automatic so they're not the best to rely on..
This same exact comment is on EVERY.SINGLE one of these videos omg đ«
Yeah he knows everybody loves it so he does it all the time now, I donât really like it because itâs clear that he just has conversations underwater to flex that sound editing
I love how he has a mini meltdown later in the video talking about it
...Did Kevin really just find the Warden's ancient city in a single chunk?
The luck of the Irish does exist and Kevin has it all!
Except the part where he can't explore it by his own rules. Close though.
well, he is 100% irish
It blew my mind. I'm 1/8th irish so i have about 1/4th as much luck as the irish, and i probably won't ever see one of those. Lol.
Iâm certain someone set up the chunk for him to make the video entertaining.
Kevin is often oblivious about everything encounters. Reminds me of a saying I heard once: "Luck is with the dumb". But the last part doesn't really apply to Kevin; he's a military genius.
a source of wool is the the strangest and most unexpected way to use the ancient city
Watching Kevin go through 10 minutes of pure struggle just to get down into the Deep Dark and knowing exactly whatâs going to happen when he does, was nothing short of perfection.
69/10
I like the fact, he stumbles into a rare biome, the deep dark, with the strongest and dangerous creature and he is like "Oh why is it getting all dark and people screaming at me" Honestly, would love to see more of this seed/chunk being played
Well, not everybody googles the wiki for everything a patch has to offer before jumping in.
@@nakano15 I'm sure you're a fun person to be around.
@@PeterGriffin-sj7mb he actually is! I know him irl we are lovers! Bros a freak too.đ«
Technically the Deep Dark and the Ancient City are different. Just throwing that out there. :)
Ancient City is where the Warden and the walls and stuff are. The Deep Dark is the large branching of tunnels with the various bits of Skulk and whatnot around. :3
@@PeterGriffin-sj7mb He's right, tho. Consuming every trailer and watching every little thing about a new patch in a game about "exploration", kinda ruins the point of exploration. It quite literally makes it less fun.
Same thing as when people watch 50 trailers for an upcoming movie and are then disappointed, when they have seen 40% of the movie already. Or consume every trailer and every demo/alpha/beta you can to ruin an upcoming game for yourself.
Honestly, if anything, you represent the group of people that spoil the fun, not the other way round.
Watching Kevin walking around in the deep dark without knowing what it is felt like watching a horror movie and watching the main character stumbling around
honestly, I was laughing the whole time because I was expecting him to get a massive just scare when he saw the Warden approach out of the darkness and one shot him
For real. Like just that beginning with "what is this?" "Did that block just scream?"
Perfect horror scenario
jim pickens thickness 47 grilled cheese out of 93 trickstab spys
Even Dream is afraid of warden and Kevin steals wool from him lmao
please try one of these in the ocean - i have no idea how it'll go.
Something like starting on a shipwreck in the ocean, roleplay being lost at sea.
I'd love to see him tackling more modded minecraft - I think there's a relatively new mod pack that's like SkyFactory but in the ocean!
@@superdevestator that's actually fire
@@JamieRaven Not really
@@JamieRaven It's more really waterlogged fire because it's the ocean.
The chances of him finding a deep dark in a single chunk. Kevin is either the luckiest, or unluckiest person alive.
About time someone mentioned it! It's hard to see but I think it's an ancient city
YUP THATS AN ANCIENT CITY! Kevin has to keep this series going now hopefully he does
@@KapGaming07 until he kills the warden
maybe he just downloaded a map and placed a chunk here to make video a lot more interesting, even if he did that I wouldnt be mad
@@lufetm unlikely that dosnt sound like kevin but what does sound like kevin is having insane luck or being insanely unlucky to spawn on an ancient city
I want to see a one chunk challenge with the Irish Lads đđđ
Oh my god, yes, that would be HILARIOUSđ
Okay Kevin ending up in the deep dark and summoning the warden is just... This is pure gold-

You seriously believe he picked the chunk with no knowledge there's something interesting under ground? And also didn't hear about the warden until now?
@@arnoldrimmer960 honestly he doesn't know much about the game anymore and doesn't follow news much
@@arnoldrimmer960 he seemed to genuinely have no idea what he wandered into, plus not knowing how the warden is summoned or how to deal with it, so I believe him! Either way, it was amusing
@@tristwasdead my thoughts exactly! I wouldn't know about the warden if I hadn't actively followed the 1.19 update and gone out of my way to watch videos discussing the warden
thank you Kevin/editor team for all the hard work put into these videos.
Fascinating series with unique solutions to unexpected problems. I hope it continues one day.
Not only did Kevin get a Deep Dark and Ancient City to spawn in his chunk, it was the only way he would ever get a bed in that chunk. What a plot point
He could've gotten string from spiders and eventually turn it into wool.
Only Kevin could accidentally start his one chunk challenge on top of such a rare find XD
DONT TRUST WILLY THE SONG SUCKS.
and yet have all the good parts of that rare find be out of reach but still visible
Are ancient cities actually rare? I have one directly under my base and I just assumed that you would always find them if you dug deep enough.
@@creeperhunterD what's your seed if I may ask and is it Java or Bedrock
@@OtakuTemmie ew are there actually people who voluntarily play on Bedrock?
i absolutely admire the work where you put the underwater effect on all your videos :D
19:26 Oh wow, that's actually quite pretty! I'm proud of you Kevin!
Even when he's not playing Sims, Kevin still winds up with a basement filled with screams
Kevin really stumbled into the Warden's biome, got obliterated, and then went back to throw hands with it as he wondered why the place was screaming at him. An absolute treat to watch

I would like this comment, but the fact that it already has 666 likes pleases me
I love how you edit your voice to sound muffled when you're underwater, even if it's for a second.
I doubt you'll see this Kevin but I had to put my cat down yesterday and this video has made me laugh more than I thought was possible. Thank you
He should do "Can you play minecraft *without* staying in one chunk?" where every in-game day he has to move to a different chunk
I love this idea!
This is a brilliant idea
Iâd love that, that sounds fun!
He canât move all his items every day or do you mean world edit?
really cool idea
Props to the editor that makes Kevin sound like heâs underwater whenever heâs underwater in the game. I see you. Cheeky reverb in the caves warranted this long overdue comment. Cheers.
Yeah, the reverb needed toning down a bit though, was a bit distracting
i do believe he self edits
@@treyrandolph4720 he works with 2 other editors. He credits them in the description u can check it out there
Yeah, the editor is extremely handsome.
cave reverb noticed here too amazing work
love the detail of voice effects that kevin gives when he's in the water and cave
The commitment to good editing is evident when his voics gets muffled when he goes into he water đ
"I know it's not much but still"
Seeing Kevin trying to be optimistic while putting himself through complicated challanges gives me life
FINALLY, THEYRE HERE!
STUPID FUCKING BOTS!
I love Kevin's crazy challenges
Before anyone corrects me:
Challenge*
Absolutely love Kevin's commitment to slamming his head on the roof of that tunnel and not just mining it to be a bit taller
Also I love how whenever his head goes under water in Minecraft he has a filter that sounds like he's under water. Really subtle bit of comedy.
I rate Jim's thickness a grilled cheese sandwich out of uncooked puffer fish
A single block with water can hydrate 4 crop blocks in any direction, meaning the most space efficient layout for crops is a 9x9 square with water in the center, so you only need to get water falling vertically to a hole in the center of your crops
i canât believe Kevinâs chunk is in an ancient city. thatâs incredible luck. bad luck, but luck nonetheless
I was using the Minecolonies mod when my mineshaft building went into a deep city. Cracked open a wall for mining and discovered the new area. Horrible. Literally mined our way to an eldritch demon.
@@jackhazardous4008 You delved too greedily and too deep.
They are way to common to be luck
To be honest, he got wool from it. I think it's a fantastic success
kevin being just completely unbothered and oblivious to the sheer horror of the warden while everyone else screams at the idea is so stupidly funny
the more i watch your videos, the more i cry from laughing at repetitive funny moments and golden commentary đđ keep it up đ
the blissful unawareness of the ancient city and the warden is so refreshing
I love the audio edits like when youâre in the cave and under water. Also with the new minecraft update it makes finding iron, or any resource found by mining, very difficult. Iâve most commonly found stuff in caves, and strip mining unfortunately doesnât seem to work as well as it used to :/
greating editing
Strip mining still works fine but now with the world height changes the levels are completely different from what they were and on top of that every ore now has a recommended level to mine at, like there's no X level to mine for like 3 or 4 ores anymore at best you can mine 2 different ores at certain levels now.
@@ArturoPladeado good to know, ty!
@@firstnamegermomium2197 You're welcome. Also here's a video czcams.com/video/xG6qKPcfZrM/video.html&ab_channel=Eyecraftmc

The water voice in this episode is SUPERB.
Watching Kevin run around the deep dark without sneaking is both funny and terrifying. Just waiting for the warden like âhoney you got a big storm comingâ

The commitment to altering the audio every time he dips into water, even if itâs a split second, is amazing.

Luck of the Irish
Absolutely amazing episode!
the horror of seeing the skulk and kevin not knowing what it is and what waits for him in the darkness
I think it's hilarious he accidentally found one of the coolest things to explore in a challenge where he can't leave his spawn.
"accidentally"

Kevin accidentally stumbling upon the Warden is so indescribably in character
EDIT: especially because he found a way to make it useful. Plundering genius
The fact that Kevin was more scared of the creeper than the WARDEN... is one of the reasons I'm slowly going insane
Hey one does not destroy your house, your crops, kills all of your animals, makes a mess in your chest by exploding, push you off a cliff, kills your horse, destroy your diamonds and unleashes all mobs in the mob trap.
And the other and does all of it.
the editing is really good!
please do more of this chunk it looks like it'd be a good season 2 to the one chunk series
Iâm a little surprised that Kevin, being the pale military genius he is, didnât use the snow as camouflage sooner
the guests for the costume party would of probably used it first
I'm surprised he didn't build a traditional Irish igloo
Hey Kevin, here's a few useful GAMER tips:
1- You can avoid summoning the warden by not making any noise, so always sneak and only place/break wool
2- You can "run" in water to swim, even in a hole
3- You can throw snowballs to distract the warden and flee
4- you can place wool around the sculk shriekers (the screaming blocks) to prevent them from screaming
5- some goats shout like people and drop horns that you can play. that's it. that's the tip.
Also lapis is used for enchanting
Also goats are annoyIng, my Minecraft world has a goat pen next to my base, they drive me insane, but Iâm too lazy to fix it
18:19 just as a thunderstorm started here, I was questioning if it was in a video or real life đ

Kevin should do a one chunk challenge on the Moon, then he can just mute the video's audio to simulate the vacuum of space.

13:23 Welcome to Minecraft, Kev. It's nice, except when it's not.
Im sure it's been mentioned before by many others, but I LOVE the editing work! The way Kevin's voice changes depending on if he's underwater or in a cave. Even if its just for a fraction of a second as he floats down the stairs, his voice is muffed while underwater. The content doesn't change but the quality keeps getting better and better. I genuinely hope this channel continues the way it is because it's been several years of joy and pride to see it grow the way it has đ„°
A little tip Kevin, one single water block can moisturise a square ranging 4 blocks in each direction, this allows you to maximise crops grown

Whoever picked the chunk to give us the maximum entertainment at Kevin's resistance to learning before experiencing needs applause. The ancient city at spawn is very entertaining. Watching him land next to 2 shriekers without a care was very funny.
The melting snow thing might just be a mere suggestion, but an actual function in the game is that you can break transparent ice blocks and that will spawn a water source which you could pick it up with your bucket (and if you plan on keeping your infinite water source unfrozen, either you'd just have to make sure to break all the ice before using your bucket, or just place torches near it so it can't freeze)...
...if only you had ice in your snow chunk...
I think brewing snow/snow balls should give you bottled water
@@pancakeclaper1021 or he could use water bottles on the water that goes into his mine and put it in a cauldron until it fills up then he can use a bucket
Jim Pickens, kills like a boss or dies like a b****, and always comes back with vengeance and petty theft.
this is top quality Kevin content
Kevin's sound editing in these vids is just so neat. Shame he can't hear them with the missing ears
Honestly, with this one chunk challenge a lot of usually useful stuff like Lapis becomes more useless than dirt or stone. Lapis' one useful function is for enchanting stuff with an enchanting table and I kinda doubt you'll ever get one in one of these one chunk challenges... well, there's a very small chance, but I don't know how lucky of a guy you are Kevin.
He probably maxed out his luck finding the deep dark in his single chunk
