- I've spent the past 48 hours chatting to members of the New World community about the upcoming Season 3, New World Expansion! The main question here is, should YOU buy the new world Expansion? Rise of the Angry Earth - which we've had some fun with and called Rise of the Angry Current Playerbase! :D

New World is a thrilling, open-world MMO filled with danger and opportunity where you will carve your destiny on the supernatural island of Aeternum.
Something that I had planned to talk about in this one but forgot, was the messaging and communications from AGS... It does feel a little disingenuous and I wished they thought about the current playerbase a bit more when releasing this (e.g. Including the Premium Battlepass with the Expansion for this Season!) However, in general, the game is heading in a great direction and this was a fun one to make! I hope you enjoy
True words, it should be better all around. The grinding has been intense for many & with some of that removed the players may just enjoy the game more instead of chasing things.
Enjoy ur payments from AGS, they said there will be no pay2win but they made all new mechanics paywalled
All they had to do is bring out another new land or another new pve mode (an actual 10 man raid) or another pvp mode (CTF,BR,10v10,ranked) and it would have been at least some incentive to come back or to continue playing. What am I going to go gear for? The same OPR map from launch? the 2 wars a week? 3v3 arena? its all going to be the same shit just with different BIS
I'm buying it. So far they haven't been greedy. They need to monetize something b/c they don't charge a sub fee. And other mmos charge sub fees AND have a cash shop with level boosters as well . We got Brimstone for free and I've played 2500 hrs for $40. Well worth it. Besides gaming is a luxury . No one is owed a free expansion.

There's not enough content for £30. Normally with a expansion, there's like 3-5 zones or something multiple weapons mounts etc.
I think this is the main concern, 1 revamped area, 1 dungeon. seems lacking. the new weapon is like a new class so i think that is a great addition

@maltoh no one is saying they don't have the $30 , we are discussing if it's value for money. There's some negatives and positives. Overall, I think a good proportion of people were expecting more in AGS first paid expansion

3500 hours in 95% all targetable named items farmed all levels of all mutations done. 625 everything, aptitude 60-200+ on all trade skills. Even if the expansion was free I would be playing less than I do now and I play a fraction of the time now than I did just a year ago. AGS has dropped the ball way too much along it’s “journey” for me to pay them for their poor programming. This will not bring players back in the long run and that more than anything is what they desperately need. No players = nothing to do…
until the next lot of 3500k hour players come along, you enjoyed it in its 'broken state'... they may have a less frustrating time

I'm not a hardcore MMO player, but I do love the grind from a new start rather than continuing something I left off. Especially with new content, being able to level up, re-do missions with different strategies or exploring new early game content with some difficulty instead of brushing everything to the side since I'd be using a more built character. I haven't any experienced any of the latest content since I dropped NW in January after the Winter event, so learning those as well on the journey will make it more interesting and indulging with people. It's just the feeling of re-living the past that made this game unique in different ways that is entertaining, which brings me back to play this game.
As a player with almost 3k hrs, and everything maxed out. I'm fine with paying for the new content. I think $30 is reasonable. Most games charge $50-$60 for an expansion, and also get you with an annual pass. I'm looking at you Bungie. The changes do seem like great changes to me. I'm just hoping it goes smooth, and we can keep some players around long enough to see season 4 and beyond.
Charging $50 for an expansion that has 5 new zones and a plethora of new content makes sense

I agree, the price is fine. As a blanket statement too, its fine. Do you really thinking asking people to pay to continue doing mutations or PVP is okay? I think it could have been done so much better... Ill be paying as I enjoy the game, btw.
@@Danneh It's been 2 years since anyone had to pay to play the game. They've givin us a lot for free which we deserved after the launch issues. I don't think anything they're doing is scummy in any way. You can still do pvp. The gear score scales in OPR. There will be a slight disadvantage with attributes however. I will agree that they should leave mutation 1 at the old m10 difficulty (625) for players not buying the expansion.
@@theseventhammer They're revamping all systems in the game. This is a huge update, and bigger than BS. It's also $30 not $50.

The existing players who choose not to buy the expansion are getting punished with a smaller map.
Also, being limited on running mutations is shitty for existing players.
The expansion is actually taking options away from players who dont buy.

i would have to disagree, they already expanded the map.....it seems like in this current age we seem to forget that we have new huge zone called Brimestone Sands and when that zone was added people said "oh yea we diff need mounts now" so i dont see how us needing a new zone to justify the purchase instead of a zone rework is good. I also disagree on this being a "hurdle" for the current playerbase, if that "hurdle" is a gear reset then thats not really new to us, new metas have arisen over the past 9 months so we had to start over on gear many many times so this is nothing new. For the people complaining about having to spend 30 bucks on content when they paid 40-50 bucks 2 years ago need to rethink their life choices if 30 bucks is that big of a deal. Other MMOs require not only for you to pay for their expansions (which are more expensive than NW expansion) you have to buy the game and also pay a subscription to even play the game, if people are that dumb to complain about something thats totally fair then good riddance you wont be missed.
if you add up the sub i paid for wow for the years i played it is over 3k not counting box expansions so 30 bucks and get 2 more years no real cost hell yes
Yeah, blanket statement like this is what they want people to feel. This is why I feel the messaging from AGS is a bit cheeky. Its pulling the wool over peoples eyes.
At least better buy the nw expansion than waste our money in Activision -blizzy games or pre order scammy games xD
And we will see the performance but we are going to get several more changes than what people is expecting....
Some people more involved is already aware but most of those talking about that there isn't new content, well, we will see :)

Yeah that is really shady, to take stuff out of the base game that you paid for make you buy it back again. That is a pure garbage move. That is what I am talking about. they go too far to force people buy it. And I know they don't force you to. But no one is going to want to play Non expansion New World if you already leveled to max level.
Your idea's here sound WAY better than how AGS is implementing the expansion. Even though my better half and I have been playing New World recently we are considering NOT buying the expansion due to so many other games to buy/play right now. Which is sad because without purchasing the expansion we see little reason to actively play until we can afford the cost and time to reinvest into New World. Kind of sad to be honest.
It is a sad moment for New World and its current players... You are a great example of this. I hope somehow AGS reconsider what they are doing and take more care of the current community!
Tbh 30€ is dumb. There is not enough content for 30€. Also, we know by experience that AGS wont do much until next expansion. So people will finish s3 content in 1 month and leave until next year
to be real they just doing it because they know mounts are coming out and can.. But other mmos charge way more so I'm not so salty
i have 0 problems with paying 30€ but i genuinly would rather see them first add a bunch of new zones (so we actually get to see all of aeternum) and then start reworking zones id much rather see that, wouldnt it be cool to explore all of aeternum and then have the angry earth take over aeternum rather then have the reworks happen b4 we even seen all of aeternum
I too have 0 problems paying £30, but its pretty poor to ask people to pay £30 to do the stuff they are currently doing.
more zones would be cool im sure they will slowly add more and more as long as there is a good amount of players, mounts should keep and bring a bunch of people alone, but yeah they need a bigger playerbase, they do need to generate big money to do big things. Or jeff will pull the plug lol

Not only have many of us spend quite a bit of money on the shop to support Amazon already, many of us have GIFTED the entire game several times to other people to get them interested. I myself have gifted it four times. Don't I have egg on my face now. I should have not bothered.
Oh man, I have to pay $30 for an MMO after 2 years?! I feel most PVP in MMOs require you to keep up with expansions. My main MMOs were Anarchy Online and then GW2, both of which required paid expansions to PVP seriously.
Thing is though it's been absolutely shit for the last "2 years" and now they think forcing people who not only want to pvp but also pve to pay $30 will bring in more than 12k average daily worldwide players. Lmfao it's a joke, honestly
you obviously did not seen how this game launched, imagine GW2 launches as a broken game with awful crafting, no endgame and no social gameplay and then after 2 years they say theyre going to fix the bugs/crafting, add mounts but still dont add any endgame and ask you to pay $30 for this

Not true, you can PVP in GW2 without the expansions. Yeah, they help, just like having the flail will help, but not required. New World is taking content AWAY from you unless you pay. This is the issue. Not "paying for an MMO after 2 years". This is where the messaging from AGS is pulling the wool over casual players eyes.
@@Danneh The only viable base build in PvP is Guardian in GW2 and that’s because everything guardian has been OP in GW2 forever. I think it will be interesting if the OPR and arena scaling go up. I think they atleast have to make everyone 675, if not, you definitely have a point.
New content for 30e is basicaly a new zone and a new dungeon. Everything else is QOL. I think they may dig their graves here

If you subscribe to ffxiv, you still need to buy the new expansion to get essentially the same gameplay loop with some new skins, so how is this a bad deal for a game with no sub?

idk about calling a revamped area "new" tbh, the lack of pvp content too especially for end game is pretty appalling imo, like what the influence revamp and maybe the weapon can count as the new content? fixing the influence push after 2 years of everyone of us hating having to do it? we asked for how long for a new OPR map and a fix to the current one so range arent such an issue but still no new map, not even a new mode? ags leaving pvpers and the hardcore fanbase out to dry and making us buy an expansion to continue playing and progress while still hoping actual pvp content is coming sometime this century...
Everyone who PVP's also HAS to buy the expansion if they want to continue being competitive in PVP... Wild!

I’m hopeful that after this major update/ expansion we will start seeing more effort put into new content. At this point I would say they’ve addressed MOST of the core problems with the game as long as everything goes well with this update. It’s still not a perfect game or anything but it’s improved significantly.

I feel like AGS really did hope to put forward a bigger offering. That's why there were no xpac details over the summer. They were still trying to figure what they could put in it. But a lot of content wasn't ready to deliver due to the many quality of life improvements being made. The upside is that hopefully, hopefully many core game systems (e.g., crafting, travel) are generally improved. However, without addressing the #1 issue most requested by players - namely, a less onerous inventory management system - I'm sure many players still feel unheard. The most significant downside, though, is the lack of content. In my mind, they should have delayed the xpac until Christmas, and focused on closing the content gap between this game and every other MMO on the market. What reason do PvEers have to return to New World?? Where are the raids? The expeditions? Epic stories and new zones? Where is the expanse?
what other games are you comparing it to ? ive played 2 other mmo's & they all had a similar amount of expedition/dungeon/operations, plus they charged the same for expansions but also charged a subscription fee.. this game still has 2 or 3 areas of the map to uncover, so we should probably expect another cost at some point for those.
@@Manc268 I certainly don't have a problem with the price point. And just to be clear, I've sunk well over 2k+ hours into this game. But I'm surprised that you think an MMO with only 10 group dungeons and 1 raid boss (no actual raids) is on par with most other MMOs. I can't think of another title with so few. Love the gameplay in New World, but they are struggling to put out challenging group content at the rate other studios have done in the past. We're still waiting for the details, but do you think this new zone is even going to have as much to do as brimstone? I think we're looking at another year before NW finds its stride.

I just bought the game like two weeks ago, and right now I feel like i'm being forced out of the game, because the people that is going to pay for the new content are going to have a lot of advantage against me, and i'll be honest with you, I don't want to pay a for a game twice.
This is a huge oversight from AGS I think… some odd choices being made!

The two things I'm a little disappointed aren't included was atleast one full new zone, I'm okay with a zone reworked but would have also liked a new zone. The other thing would have been another either Elite trial or a full raid. My hope is that in a future season over the next 12mos is we get to fight artemis in a raid. That will make it worth it to me. If I pay $30 for a year of content and I get to kill Artemis in a raid, I'll be happy.
I'm paying for it, as is my little brother. New World deserves it. They listen to us, they're giving us a great amount of content, they don't charge us monthly, and personally don't have an issue with $30 for a bunch of new content. Nonsub alone warrants charging for the expansion in my opinion. :)
Expansion? You mean one small part of the map that they took away. Mounts sure but only 3 choices really. Look how cool the mammoth looks but we can't ride it. They didn't really fix the rng so I feel like bis is gonna get hard asf to get.
It is worth supporting the game. BUT, I paid 250k for my BIS GA, 250 for my BIS amulet, 200k for my BIS chest piece, and 100k for my BIS WH. For WHAT?! Now, every one of my armor pieces will be trash! And I have to pay 30 euros for the game again...
We used those armor/weapons for 2 years already, I think it was enough, and we paid 40/20$ to play for all this time.
Is way cheaper and way more time than any other game. Let's say wow, there is a several hundred dollar difference...
And with the new systems, get our bis gear isn't gonna be a nightmare anymore :).
@@tc-one3749 That is all speculation, and the AGS record of creating a grindy game is already bad. I may have to grind for my new gear for a year again. How can I trust AGS at this moment?
great video and thank you for sharing your take Danneh, still after playing wow for 15 yrs locking the new content behind a new zones means original zones get left behind and the world get to big and left behind over time, I feel what they have done is the way forward. You don't pay a sub and got brimstone sands for free and if they want 30 quid every 1-2 years to pay for its development that's better value than its competitors to be fair.
A lot of my comparison comes from GW2 and they do a fantastic job. People are also not only paying 30 quid every 1-2 years, its £20 every quarter + expansions now which is nearly more than paying a sub... well, it is more than a sub with the QoL you need to buy too!
@@Danneh Yeah I always use the example of, sure WoW has a subfee but unlimited access to transmog.
If you wanted full access to transmog in NW, you would have to drop the same amount of $ that 40 years+ of WoW subfee costs.
Or you would have to grind a weekly token for 67,5 years, truly insane.
The real issue here is not if people should get or not the expansion, it's more if the game will survive if too many people will leave the game because of it. Without expansion you can't really keep playing, so you either get it or quit. I doubt many people will return just for the expansion, I don't see any groundbreaking addition in it. Brimstone was a huge bump in numbers because it was free and the spike didn't even last very long, this time by adding a price tag, you force people to make a decision and the increase in the playerbase will probably not be that great, and the numbers are not good right now.
Personally I'm currently not playing and I'm not getting the expansion at release, maybe later, like January/February, when they are going to throw the expansion at us for 5 bucks 😜

@@Danneh I just realised they're upping the level. I thought they would be doing horizontal progress and expanding the world not vertical progress and falling in to the warcraft trap of lessening things to do. This has really bummed me out. I was going to buy the expansion but i dunno if I will now. BG3 looking more of a path for me. What a shame, NW was so promising.
with dragonflight dragons flying in when you summon, to Ashes mounts being in game, tethered and visible when you dismount, it feels this mounting is weak & cheap sadly
I played NW from the beginning, i played for a long time, and i stopped because i had a lot of bug and some never fixed. I tried to came back but still a lot of bug and some bug i had before were still here. This is the first i have a lot of bug and some for months or years..
I won't pay to came back and see that there are still the same bugs and can't play proprely.

Yeah they did, it was in the northeastern zone if I remember correctly, and in the town close to one of the inns, on the outside toilet. xD It said something about people of Aeternum not being able to tame beasts of burden. @@Danneh
Taking away and then selling back players content screams "Let's milk those people before we abandon the game!" to me. NW will stay uninstalled, i guess.
They revamped a starting zone into a completely changed zone…and If u count the entire Brimstone Sands zone and things that were free…then only charging $30 for everything they’ve put out since launch hmm…just a different way to look at it…hell i drop $30 at McDonald’s and feel bad, but not for content I can play for hours

If a company taking content away from you, and then telling you, you can buy it back for paying the same amount you paid for the base game doesn't concern you, you might want to check if you aren't working for AGS.
Dude doesn't understand that taking something away, drastically changing it and then giving it back along with additional elements is not the same

Im going to buy it, but im not happy about it. warcraft charge £10 a month, and charge for expansions. new world charge £20 every 3 months, yeah you dont have to buy it but most peaple will. New world are giving us a reworked zone. warcraft give you a whole continent. It should have been free with the battle pass.

imagine having to buy a game for 40$ and then pretty much being forced to buy an expansion for almost the same price as the game. Everyone who buys it and supports this kind of business are the problem.
Or you could look at it and think, "I'm buying a game big enough that people have spent thousands of hours playing, plus a brand new expansion pack, for less than the base price of Diablo 4 which I would be bored of in two weeks"
New DLC expansion incoming but I have not played the base game at all. Can some kind soul share whether it is worth to play New World the base game. How is the end game? Is the end game engaging and sustaining? How is the player tech support? Is it easy to contact their support for any issues? Is their tech support helpful or very demanding (like insisting you must upload game log files etc before they even want to help you)? I would like to hear some honest sincere comments here from players rather than trusting those paid reviews of other youtubers. Thank you for helping me out.

That is up for them to decide. That 30 dollars could as easily be spent on some other game that interests them more.
$30 on QoL, $30 on server transfers because of Dead servers, $20 on Transmog, $60 on Battlepass, now another $50 .. Yup.. People are really upset about $30 after two years! :D

Players finished the main story of rise of angry earth in 45 mins.
I genuinely believe this may be the final nail in the coffin for New World. As a player that played for just over half a year since launch, and occasionally comes back to check things out, i was very excited for the flail to come out (normally play hybrid healer) but finding out everything's getting changed, our "power level" aka level and gear score will in effect get nerfed if we don't pay up, and not being able to get the 3rd focus weapon either, along with other stuff getting paywalled, this will sure as shit kill the current player base that sits at 10k-13k daily worldwide.

xpac price 30 is fine but 70 for the both is bad for getting in fresh players. Lose First light to gain 1 new area, 1 new dungeon, 1 new heart rune, 1 weapon & mounts. Hardly feels like more than Brimstone. my 1 Gripe is the mounts not running in and tethering them to trees is disappointing. But where i genuinely feel NW will fail is the overall end game. The new stuff will keep us playing for a month but is there any long term inventive interesting enjoyable content to keep everyone who comes back here....and i dont think there is sadly
i guess they will give 50% discount for base game when xpac release like every sale day

It is a normal practice to have DLCs and expansions with a price tag. Moreover, we do not have to pay monthly sub and there isn't any P2W. Apart from this, the whining mommy's basement dwellers should understand that the game studio is a business and it should bring profit or at least cover its expenses. This is how the real world works.
Correct, I agree. However you miss the mark by a damn mile though - No one has a problem with the DLC or the price tag. The issue is taking away content for people who cannot afford it or infact don't want to spend more money on the game yet. Oh well, I guess they are basement dwellers living at Mommys house. Terrible take.

AGS are not obliged in any way to provide us with a free entertainment just because we want it. They are a business like your local grocery, cafeteria, pizzeria etc. They offer a product and you have the freedom to buy it or not.
If you can't afford it - well, that sucks, but then your real life priorities should be others.
If you can, but you don't want to buy it - well, this is your personal choice and you cannot blame anyone for it.

1 revamped zone (first light) - mmorpg expansions usually have multiple completely new zones.... what happened here?
1 new weapon - we have gotten this for free
Mounts - while nice, not necessary and not worth the cost
Gear revamp? Not worth $30
New world devs got greedy - like the transmog tokens? Transmog should be free
This is a DLC at best that shouls be maybe $10

I think locking leveling up to 65 behind the expansion is a good idea and an effort to reduce alt accts/war logging. The war scene needs a shake up and i think this will give a lot of other people an opportunity to experience it. I could be wrong though. I get people being upset about not being able to do old mutators anymore, but I don't see an easy way to rework that for existing players because they are making it an overall better system and even if you could do them, they would be pointless to do because umbrals won't exist anymore. It would be nice if old normal difficulty dungeons will all be reworked and they will drop gear at their recommended GS, as in the harder ones, the normal version will be 600-625 or something like that. Especially for returning players. I think we'll find out a ton of info once PTR drops.
Tell me again how riding a mount making you faster and gaining a clear advantage isn't "forcing you to buy the expansion" ? 🧐

Expanding the map is bad when you have so many dead lackluster zones. first light was 1 of 3 starting zones it didn't have a meaning thing to do there...
Nothing wrong with starting zones if you have new players continuously coming to check out the gam..... oh wait...

Danneh, not to be rude but your review seems a little too biased.
you give too many excuses for the developers to shoe horn payment for a DLC that cost £25 just to have a little story content, 1 dungeon and most importantly mounts. I could forgive most of the issues about this " DLC " if the mounts where a free update to the game. especially as it was a feature that should have been in the base game from the get go.
In the end I dint think it was worth getting the game because I couldn't have access to mount because of a pay wall.
30 usd is fine honestly, they gave us brimstone free 3 new weapon free! The only complain I got to say is expansion has only 1 dungeon ? And no new zone is just bugging me … I still think is not enough content! Still waiting for pvp zone that should be added in or a dungone that is pvp/pve 5 man group
Compared to other games in the same genre, this is about a quarter of what they offer, for less money!
if i had one gripe with the pricing, its probably the same u mentioned about season pass being another 20 bucks. day 1 player with lots of hours, id say i got my moneys worth.

After 5k hours should you spend $30 on an expansion? Yes. At the $39.99 launch price that about ¢.008 per hour for a hobby. What other hobby provides that much entertainment for such a cheap price?

I know this an old video but wanted to hear what you had to say. I think $30 to continue playing a game you like, then I don’t see the problem. And for the people mad about $30 you should probably work on getting money and stop playing games if it’s a problem, maybe a bit harsh but I’ve always spent tons of money in games I like. I think it’s just as wrong to say everything should be free always since you spent $40 at the beginning of the game.

£29.99 is reasonable . Would have liked more content (a new region in addition to reworked one). The crafting and loot system overall seems legit and done right addresses a lot of issues (for example the extortionate cost of crafting mods fell massively now people realise they can craft bis reliably locking in all perks).
Im happy to pay, 2k hours for what, the £30 a payed 2 years ago and a few season passes, i think the games been a bargin so far and still playing it 2 years on, exited for the next update and changes

I’m all for giving AGS money to continue development. The expansion looks GOOD. I don’t really understand the hate. I’ve been playing since launch too. I do wish it had some more PvP content, but my hopes are that that will come in some future expansion patches.

@@Danneh I think that’s fairly common for all MMOs though. Same thing applies to WoW for example. You can’t do mythic plus unless you’re on the current expansion.
Many people will quit New World over this (Not me.) But they would quit even if it cost 1 dollar because they are anti pay-to-win and putting into the game 75 gear score levels 90 or so Attribute points, and artifact gear x3 that give 9 extra perks and locking it behind the expansion is pay-to-win which is a dirty thing to do to your game. It hurts the reputation of New World to have the pay-to-win label on it.
This here is one of the main issues. Lock the weapons and mounts, but don't lock level, gearscore,
and mutations at least not yet!

Just check the global chat on new world. I typed in is it worth it. So many players sayed its not worth it and that your not buying. In fact many regret it because reaching level 65 means you wont have any fun in lower level areas as you will be flat out ignored by other enemy NPCs. If your buying the dlc because you need to be the best there is beyond a financial barrier, just consider that today your fine, tomorrow maybe your up the creek without a paddle. This is the most greeky dlc that new worlds has seen so far as of yet and your financial protest is your best way to combat with this shameless money grab. Pay for good content, not promises.
'Returning'? Very few are that deluded. It's a year, with Baldor/Starwandering options, to BRIBE people to play NW, not put in more money-grabs.
I think with the content we got last year for free-ish combined with the new stuff it makes the expansion worth it IMO. I do wish they would change their mind about adding the premium track to the expansion, perhaps if we moan about it enough they'll include it. I do think that they could rebalance the prices in the game shop considering there is a paid for expansion on top of it now. Who knows, they may surprise us and offer some discounts in the game store if you buy the expansion. That would be nice. Of course, WoW has all the pay- fors that New World has with an additional (though now optional, I think) sub fee. So in that context it could be worse( Don't get any ideas AGS! LOL!).
Now onto the population, I think we are in the ebb and flow cycle for population, people come with content. So I have no doubt people will return for the expansion. I know a lot of my friends are playing Baldur's Gate and will return with the New World expansion. You also have to consider that a new paid for expansion tends to bring more eyes to the game from "Game Journalists" and content creators , that I don't think free content brings. I suppose it also depends on how much hype AGS puts behind the marketing and if we get another Battle for Aeternum style event for content creators(especially with the changes to the influence race, I could see them doing it again). That trailer was pretty huge and well done and likely expensive, and could be an indication of the hype AGS plans around the expansion too. We will probably know way more next week.
I'll buy it anyway because I want to support AGS.

I do miss the "old school mmo" feel, but people digest content so fast these days and I think AGS know that, however, take a look at games like GW2, its freaking popping.. New World is missing a trick somewhere!
@Danneh may have to check out gw2 I've heard alot of good things about it. I'm not hating on new world I loved it for what it was I played since launch and I will give them credit for trying to progress the game forward. But I guess I'm more of a work hard for that special item and being able to brag about it or feeling accomplished for getting it not everyone having the best everything as fast as possible. But the day in age is changing and the gamers are a different generation than the one I grew up in.

People complain about 30$ expansion but what about all these 70$ games that have no content ? Or subscriptions that don’t provide value, at least new world you buy the game and that’s it ! Also you get hundreds hours of content and I mostly pvp.
I think you missed the mark here. The price point isn't the issue... The "rework" of the zone, or forcing people to continue doing competitive PVP and mutations is the issue.
I uninstalled the game. I'm done. We bought the game and had access to First Light. They closed it off to make changes - okay, fine. Now they open it up with angry earth - also already in the game - and now they want 29 dollars to access parts of the game we already bought. It's insane. Next, they will close off Everfall, put Ebonscale mobs in it, and charge us 29 dollars to get access the Everfall "expansion."
I get it. I'm desperate for a new MMO too, but this sets a bad precedence. Now, they know it is okay to take any area off the table, change it some, and sell it to you. Not me. I didn't get the expansion and I'm done with Amazon.

That being said, I immediately thought wait a minute...if you don't buy the expansion then you'll lose access to doing mutations in current content. Something about that just doesn't seem right to me.

Somehow they are putting all this focus in their PvE yet it's the least fun of any game I've played. Where they shine is their open world PvP and they seem to be completely ignoring it lmao. Don't make us grind GS only to grind more of the same dungeon we've done 100 times... because we won't.
Yes I’m getting it, but Ok so imagine on day one paying and being have to wait until it’s your turn again. Doing world tours on all new areas and having a hard time to harvest anything because everybody is in the new areas like ants 🐜 on candy . Lots of fun it it won’t last too much for the grinders

You kinda just swept the speed glitch under the rug as well as other glitches. The bots that are killing the economy and alot of other good points that need to be fixed. You can't just say hey all games have bugs when we have glitches that break the game.... more people need to speak out on that as well as the mass reporting and other things that are making people quit. If we fix things like this then the game will have a better life. How ever bringing new people in doesn't fix the old problems. Adding new stuff is making the game slower. I really believe the devs need to listen more about bugs and such or the game will become more dead then it all ready is. I wanna see this game turn around and fix the issues and stop ignoring them.

You cannot do Mutations and if you do PVP you are going to be out matched if you don't buy the expansion.
