MK6 GTI Golf Door Panel Removal

This brief video shows you exactly how to remove an interior door panel on a MK6 Volkswagen Golf. I was hearing a rattle noise coming from this door and decided to remove the panel and diagnose the rattle. I placed several strips of felt tape onto several areas of the inside of the door panel. I no longer here the rattles anymore.

the screws are T-30 there are 3 of them . 2 are normal looking and the one at the bottom has a shoulder . in case you were wondering .
you will most likely break some of the cheap plastic like i did . i used a soldering gun to melt the broken pieces pack together .
vw has a way of over complicating things .

Thx all I wanted to know was the torx size but was missing! Also removing the wire harness from the panel was skipped 😂

thank you!! had the same issue in my gti! happened after installing coilovers with incorrectly set pre load 😂 suspension so stiff i was popping door panels loose
