Amazing job being resourceful. You're showing everyone that you dont need a million dollar budget to make something beautiful. Again... Great Job!!! Keep it up Bud!!! Cheers
I have a neighbor who collects pallets and makes all sorts of things, then sells them-- planters and garden stuff. He's very ingenious about it. Though the wood is not the best quality, these are too often wasted, which is a shame. Stephanie doesn't want the end pieces? Hmm. That would act as a footboard, which I always found helpful to prevent the mattress from moving around. When I didn't have one, I found myself constantly pushing the mattress back in place. But, that's up to you. It looks great.
Hello Jay fans from Canada, my husband and we love your channel we keep up with everyone from the Perkins brothers you all are hilarious and enjoyable to watch
The Jorgenson squeeze clamps like those Irwin clamps you were using. They actually have places where you can slide them together, to do basically the same thing you did. Anyhow nice work Jay! Take it easy bud. Until next time
Jay, if it moved, maybe but some of those non-slip kicked cabinet shelf liners, you might need extra. You could also but a non skid rug pad even a small one helps
Hi Jay I'm new to your channel, it's Elly from the UK. The only thing i would have suggested is to chamfer the tops of your corner supports in the storage crates.
He Jay, a very good Idea the Place under the Bed good to use. But the Bed most to high how Yours. You have good Idea for the Weekday Facilitation. Thanks.
Great looking job Jay. Using pallets for the wood is good recycling, I made my wife a large throne using pallet wood, she loved it. The only thing I would think about is putting some sort of a protective cloth liner in the boxes, if you are putting clothes or sheets etc in the boxes. Under bed storage is a great way to use available space and DIYing them is awesome. Well done mate, take care be well 🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨
I was worn out after working all day, and started my morning watching this. Starting your day with Jay...how could the rest of your day not go your way😊
Jay if you continue doing this kind of project it would be wise to buy a combination belt and disc sander not all that much making you work smarter not harder.
Thank You for Your Wife and Yourselves Creative Craftmanship!!!! Matches the headboard perfectly!!!! I am with Her, no need for trim. It would be hard to make up bed or change sheets!!!! Yall are creating a fun Channel!!!!
Adding the lip to the side of the platform would've made flipping the mattress murder. You'd either damage the mattress or pull the lip off every time. Ok, well, I would.
I liked that trim piece you were gonna install! A little bit of the mattress covered seems more finished but that's just me! Happy wife happy life haha. Cheers 🍻
@@Building_Jays_Way fair enough! Gotta love when the customer wants it done a simple way! Had a thought tho- I even liked em without the notch cut in the back- but either way that'd be a good spot where you could install some LEDs! Maybe a future project 😉
Oh, what a fantastic win-win project….. using reclaimed wood is the real deal, such a beautiful finish….. Jay great to see you you evolve, Jay stop trying not to fully in gage in the prep work….. the devil really is in the detail, awesome episode 💥🎉🍺⚒️🔨👍😎
I recently made myself a new desk and wanted rounded corners on the front. I used the bottom of a spray can to get the round shape then cut it out. I felt quite pleased with myself 😀 Nice work on the bed tho. Pallet wood is one of the best free thing you can get - apart from free beer - nothing can beat free beer 😀
Hey Jay, are we EVER going to see how Ray’s remodeled kitchen turned out. I ask this here because you two started here and then Jay lefted and I don’t know how to get in touch with him.
Jay, excellent videos like always; showing how the DIY’ers can do a project. My only recommendation is make sure your camera lens is clean of fingerprint & smudges for excellent video quality.
Wow, really nice job, Jason. You're doing great on your channel, and the stuff you build is the same stuff I like building. 👍and I love your wife... hey get up, she has her list man 😂😂😂
Great job Jay! Love the channel. You should make a work bench project. Also 2years ago I made a grill caddy for my webber charcoal grill. I would love to see your take on that project.
"The mattres is so heavy that it doesn't move, no matter how hard you try" wink wink. Gotcha! Fantastic Job, your videos and projects are amazing! Very hard work! You must to be proud! I really expect that channel grow and grow, you deserve it!
I think the most confident statement Jason made was "the mattress does not come off the bed 'no matter how hard you try'".
Spoken from experience!
Lol

Thank you so much!

Gotta love those "certain numbers"!

They look fantastic. Give yourself a pat on the back.
Jay: That came out incredible, very nice. Thank you for the share. Ray
Thanks.
Hey Jay,
das Bett und jetzt auch die Schubladen sind richtig cool geworden!
Ich freu mich auf euer nächstes Video...👍✌
Jay, if it moved, maybe but some of those non-slip kicked cabinet shelf liners, you might need extra. You could also but a non skid rug pad even a small one helps
try using the rug grip non-slip on top of platform so mattress won't slide around. Especially when the magic is happening 😉
Got to admit, I wasn’t quite sold on your vision, proved me wrong. Looks Fu**in’ Dynomite!
As someone who's also broken a bed frame doing aerobics... I salute you. 🫡

I was worn out after working all day, and started my morning watching this. Starting your day with Jay...how could the rest of your day not go your way😊

Thanks for providing us with some great entertainment once again.
Thank you for watching!
looks nice!
Your family must be amazed with your genius mine and skills.
God bless.
Bed looks great Jay, love the creativity and the repurposing of discarded stuff and saving money!
Thanks!

I’ve wanted to know the exact same thing
Jay, with the added support of the bed frame hope your nocturnal acrobatics don't break the new one.
Good content Bud!
Thanks.
Hi Jason
The whole room looks absolutely awesome.
Thanks.
Jay, excellent videos like always; showing how the DIY’ers can do a project. My only recommendation is make sure your camera lens is clean of fingerprint & smudges for excellent video quality.
It came out beautiful!! Enjoy!!
I love how it all turned out. Your pretty good at creating stuff.
Nice build Jay! Looking forward for your next project
Great Idea clamping the sander to the table!
💖
Wow, really nice job, Jason. You're doing great on your channel, and the stuff you build is the same stuff I like building. 👍and I love your wife... hey get up, she has her list man 😂😂😂

Great job Jay! Love the channel. You should make a work bench project. Also 2years ago I made a grill caddy for my webber charcoal grill. I would love to see your take on that project.
That turned out really nice! Those crates roll smooooth! Great job!
Thanks.
Awesome! ❤❤❤ that bed! Great pro-tips with the sander to save your wrist from carpal tunnel and the clamp tip. 😊👍
It looks like your missing "picket" may have been holding your sander down. Little hard to tell for sure, but seems similar in size. Bed looks good. 👍
It looks really great in total! And there is nothing better then an accomplished unique peace of furniture or house that you made yourself 🔥
Yes it’s a lot of monotonous work but the end result is the reward. Nice job Jay!
Thanks Sparky!!
Totally ballin jay. Always fun watching your builds
Thanks David!
You did an amazing job I really enjoy watching these!!!! ❤️
"The mattres is so heavy that it doesn't move, no matter how hard you try" wink wink. Gotcha! Fantastic Job, your videos and projects are amazing! Very hard work! You must to be proud! I really expect that channel grow and grow, you deserve it!
