Best place in the world, an English bluebell wood. How lucky are you Sarah to have one of your own? With Ramsons too...If I ever win the lottery that is the 1st thing that I shall buy.

I love this forest, we don't get anything like this where I live in Australia. My favourite colour for flowers is blue closely followed by green and these are beautiful.

Thank you for sharing; your woodlands are stunning indeed! I live in a small rural town in western WA state, US, and there's plenty of wildlife and forests and foothills to the Cascade Mts. but none as glorious as your spot. It's just beautiful and I can transport myself mentally every time I look at one of your videos. Each are enchanting as your lovely self and adorable pooch! You bring beauty, peace, and inspiration through your hard work and passion of the natural world. Bless you!🌲👵🐕💖😊🌱👍🌱🌱🌱🍃🎶

I have a bluebell wood near me that looks like its on steroids, the blue is so intense and you can't see the floor there are so many of them. It really is spectacular

I looked up bluebell to find out more information I found this:
The National Trust is one of the most important organisations in the UK for bluebell conservation. A quarter of the Trust's woodland is ancient or semi-natural; the ideal habitats for bluebells. Here are six facts you may not know about them:
The bluebell has many names: English bluebell, wild hyacinth, wood bell, bell bottle, Cuckoo’s Boots, Wood Hyacinth, Lady’s Nightcap and Witches’ Thimbles, Hyacinthoides non-scripta
It is against the law to intentionally pick, uproot or destroy bluebells
If you plant bluebells, you should make sure it's the English bluebell, not the Spanish version. This is a more vigorous plant and could out-compete our delicate native flower
Almost half the world's bluebells are found in the UK, they’re relatively rare in the rest of the world
Bluebell colonies take a long time to establish - around 5-7 years from seed to flower.
Bluebells can take years to recover after footfall damage. If a bluebell’s leaves are crushed, they die back from lack of food as the leaves cannot photosynthesise.

I'm not really into gardening but when I bought the house I currently live in we inherited a big garden with trees and a well kept grass, I slabbed over the grass as the dogs and children kept destroying it but kept all the trees up the back which is on a slope above the garden, we had vine that grew all over the trees and through the garden part, and also creeping ivy, it has taken me years to kill of the creeping vine that grows crazy and keep the ivy in control, the ivy even pulled a whole row of fencing panel over with the help of the wind, this year I looked and half the back is covered in English blue bells now, I am going to plant more and bee bomb the rest of the back part, like I said I am not a gardener but the blue bells looked really nice and has inspired me to do more planting.

Reminds me of our bluebonnets here in Central Texas. Fields chock full of wild flowers, only, you wouldn't want to just casually stroll through them! Snakes love the cover, too. 😉

Didn't Monty make a video where the spanish bluebells are taking over? The spanish bluebells are unscented and have a straight flower stalk and the english buebells have a curved flower stalk and a fragrance. Oh and the spanish bluebells can bloom in their first yr of growth whereas the english needs two years. So the more flowers you can push out the better and more successful your breeding rate.

Even if it's just like say three small measly flowers, it can still reproduce. The bees can still find it.

When Sarah said “we have them better than anywhere else, it’s because they are so prevalent in Britain in April/May.
