I think what you mean is "how keycaps profile affect the sound of the keyboard". Sure the material or thickness may affect the sound a bit but it very minor imo. In the video there are like 3 keycaps with same profile so there should be not much difference between those 3. But rather than sound, keycaps affect the feel of the typing the most so choosing keycaps that suit your hand is better.

very true, also a major factor would be the treatment of the case and the material is the plate, lots of factors going on there, haha!
the main difference isnt the materials but the prrofile. the bigger ones sound a tad bit deeper while the smaller ones dont
