Be a short guide tbf. Press guard and hold it just before the attack hits. That's about it. Don't tap guard, it's not Sekiro. Or, with the Wo Long weapon, activate fable deflect just before it hits, then press heavy attack immediately after to get the big stagger damage.

There are new bosses? Haven't been keeping up with it, didn't even know. Lost my install though, so not sure I'd be up for a full playthrough to get to new bosses at this point - I've already played through like 10 times...

Heya. Doin okay here, thanks for asking. Not playing Rise of Ronin. In Australia it's $125, which just isn't worth it for a game close to a decade old that's mid at best from what I can see, especially when there are soooo many games to play. Happy to wait for a sale. Tbh I'm pretty uninterested in Playstation games atm. Gotta be an exclusive and gotta be top tier for me to want to play $125+ for a PS5 game when I can buy as good or better games on PC for half the price. Just picked up Lords of the Fallen for $49 so really it's a no brainer for me what to play next, especially since I missed out on LotF due to being sick when it came out 😁
@@fuzzybearbarian rise of ronin ain’t mid at all it’s a very good game that focuses on what most games nowadays should and that’s gameplay the gameplay is great combat is top tier for a game like that I understand it’s not worth the price 100% wait for a sale but don’t call it mid when it’s not the only criticism I have of the game is it’s waay too expensive for a game that isn’t graphically amazing still not bad enough graphics wise to complain about if it was cheaper i.e on sale

@@margaretmae5754 I get it, couch gaming is the best, desk sucks. I will almost definitely play Black Myth Whatchamecallit (yes, that's what it's called now haha). Although, I'll wait and see before jumping into the deep end on day one since the latest footage doesn't look half as good as that first released footage. So yeah, call me sceptical, but that's how it is with games these days. After getting burned with great trailers and a lot of substandard games, I'm jittery on forking out the cash. I don't get free games handed to me like other channels lol. That said, there's lots of souls-likes coming, and I'm interested in them all tbh. Just finished my buckets-only run of Lords of the Fallen, which was a stupid thing to do for a first playthrough, but hey, I do silly challenges like that because I'm, well, me, haha. Not sure what's next, making it up as I go these days.
