Flooding in Maai Mahiu | Roads Washed Away | Food Distribution to a Community Cut Off by Flooding

Love in action, making a way possible to reach 200 families cut off due to roads and bridges completely washed away.
Serving shoshos (grandmothers), mothers, fathers, the elderly, young people, and children with a genuine serving of spoken love and tangible hope.
Our team preserved through the rain, very muddy roads impassible by vehicle (some places we had to walk because the pikis couldn't pass with us riding), heavy machinery working in the area to restore some temporary relief from the flood waters, and a large number of extra people from the community who requested to be added to the following distribution because of the great need.
This entire community has been dramatically impacted by loads of trauma, loss of loved ones, homes destroyed, bodies wounded, and bellies empty.
But today, we did what we could with what you put in our hands, and thanks to @servinternational and your giving, we touched many, many lives. Changing the world for these families matters a lot and tonight, there are hearts and bellies filled up because of you!
