As a Brit who discovered Coke Studio sessions about a year ago it definitely has a special place in my heart. My favourite so far is Mirza Sahibaan by Arif Lohar. Its an old one and quite trippy but it reminds me of Hey Boy Hey Girl by the Chemical Brothers. I didn't realise how bananas it was until I read the English subtitles. Still think its lovely though

How bagga starts on a high note and sings like that throughout! I think Aima is the most talented out of the young Pakistani singers. For me the house musicians were the highlight, Mannu was in the cloud zone, loved his part and I think it was banjo which you girls liked, it definitely tied the song together. For me the lyrics were too simple but fun. I agree with Bhola , it was fun to watch the show! Peace

Awesome reactions as always. Though admittedly it was amusing to see that the song blew you two away more than it did me - and that is not to say it didn’t blow me away.
CS Season 10 was Strings’ final outing with CS, and if you ask me they raised their game all the mire for it. It is probably the season I keep coming back to more often than I do to most other seasons combined. I have recommended some of their masterpieces repeatedly already... so this time going to leave you with another recommendation which I don’t think I have suggested before... do check out the father-son duo of Attaullah EssaKhailvi and Sanwal Essakhailvi work their magic in “Sab Maya Hai”. Guaranteed to make your day...

CS 12 is the comeback season for ROHAIL HAYAT, the real architect behind the show. Please react to "BILLO", by Abrar-ul-haq from the same season. Mast balang, Baazi & Dhola, all of them are basically Saraiki Folk Songs with some additional punjab lyrics & dialect.
with CS12 Rohail Hayat was back, but it had setbacks as few songs got strikes from creators/ producers etc especially the one I liked most, Billo by Abrar ul Haq.
It was originally sung by him & was a massive hit in 90s. And in CS12 once I saw him redoing it again, I was sure he'll not be able to outperform original but major worry was that he may not ruin it (and for that checkout CS 'ko ko korina' fiasco) but it was amazing, a brilliant recreation, surpassing original (or may say having a different & modern take) unfortunately due to copyright issues it was taken down (though other channels have uploaded it).

Good reaction on a track that has been part of one of those CS seasons that have brought the whole thing down... I really wish CS can get back to what it once used to be. Keeping the benchmark that Pakistani musicians and artists have set for themselves into consideration, this track was nowhere close to that. A very average composition and Aima Baig is just another Himesh Reshammiya of our country (Momina as well). Sahir Ali Bagga is always good, without a doubt.... Anyways, would love to see you guys reacting to 'Na Kaho - Nescafe Basement' or 'Man Kunto Maula - CS'... Happy Valentine's week! Keep shining :)
