Have heard this song so many times before, but your reaction just made me appreciate everything about it so much more - the flow, the changes in style, the array of different instruments used, the powerhouse combo, the VOICES!!! That accordion bit took me back to the ‘70’s and the movie Bobby for some reason! Keep up the great work girls! Just love going back and listening to these classics with you two all over again. 🙏🏻💗

This one is a favorite, hands down. Perfect arrangement with perfect musicians/vocalists. Your reaction summed up all my feelings.

It’s such an amazingly well-made song. You are so absolutely right about their voices. Shuja’s voices has that velvety quality which makes great crooners, but QB’s is something magical - every time she sings something new, I find myself incapacitated, induced into an elevated state of being.... mesmerized. And I had forgotten about this song! 🤦🏽♂️
Those nods to Strings and to Noor Jehan’s evergreen Chandni Raaten were outwordly, but what I really did not see coming was the layer of ‘Pee Jaon’, a nod to Nescafé Basement - because that’s where I had heard it first.
This truly is quite an underrated song. Something is wrong with the CZcams algorithm when it isn’t recommending it more!
Stellar reaction yet again and a really great choice. Jojo, your point about these songs and pieces of music making us overcome with the magic of romance resonates quite some with me. And yet not how it does with you probably. In my ripe old age, I kind of resent songs which make me want to fall in love. But I love them for making me resent them - precious are those moments when we can feel that young again.
I know I should be doing my recommendations via Instagram, but poor old me is barely ever on Insta after FB and I had a falling out. (Yes, in my alternate universe, I live this grand life where I take on corporate behemoths and go down fighting). So, I hope you won’t mind me continuing to send in my requests here.

Fyi, both Shuja and QB are untrained musicians. It's only very recently that QB started taking vocal lessons. By then she had already delivered these gems. If you dig deeper, you'd find that QB is quite an accidental singer. Shuja was born into a humble family of musicians, though entirely self taught and self made. Music turned around his and his family's condition for the better. I so admire both of them! Shuja is also very inspiring because he's achieved this entirely on his own. Not to say, QB hasn't. Their jodi is one of the most perfect!
