Many thanks for reacting to one of my favorite Coke Studio songs, Jaffer Zaidi & QB simply nailed it & made this song something very special through their fabulous vocals along with the beautiful music arrangement including Mr. Ahad Nayani, of course :) ;) Referring to the 'one-person only' love theory, I tend to disagree there with you ladies, I think it is not about 'only one person is good enough for me in this universe' and I also think a person cannot simply fall in love with 10 people simultaneously. Every person on this planet has some strengths, shortcomings or weaknesses, and understanding and unconditionally accepting the other person with everything is "love". I guess we simply cannot pick & choose 10 people to fulfill our "INNER LAYERS" as said by Shrutz. But, in modern times love can happen again & again, I agree there that its not the end of the world :) ;) I hope I'm able to convey my thoughts here, will wait for feedback if you guys want to....Good reaction though, keep it up ;) :) cheers!!!
Yes, that's exactly what we meant... that, heaven forbid, if things don't work out with that one special person who you thought was the one you wanted to be with forever... then (at your own pace) reach a point of acceptance where you realise that it just wasn't meant to be for whatever reason. But from there on, instead of closing your heart to love (which most people tend to do after a serious break-up), you must continue to keep your heart open, and be ready to be vulnerable again when someone whom you feel could be worthy of your love comes along. Because if you close yourself off, you essentially stop living a complete life, which is all about the ups & downs. Hope that made sense :)
And yes, the understanding of our 'inner layers' becomes extremely important in our journey; it's imperative for you to be able to reach that place where all of the above realisations kick in. Self-love and self-awareness going hand-in-hand to make you a better partner for your future person. :)
@@JyotiSardar Agreed! I also think that closing the heart off is simply not the way to spend the life, the world surely doesn't end there. People should move on & may be learn from the mistakes of their past 'instances'. I firmly believe that if you love yourself only then you'll be able to love someone else & be willing to happily accept the other person mentally & physically as partner ;) :) cheers!!!

If you're in your teens or early 20's, you're broke. You don't know how to take care of yourself. Your skin is pimply. You're not as smart. And you have low self-esteem. In most cases, you improve as a person when you get older, and the girl you thought was out of your league might not be as great as she seemed when you were younger. That's why you hear stories of people who marry early but become successful later in life, and they start having marriage problems, because now the power dynamics have shifted. That person now has more options but they settled for less. And if neither party is willing to adjust or compromise, this could in a divorce.
I think every heart break song freezes the sentiments of that particular moment but doesn't mean that the lover will not eventually move on. Sadness does not live forever neither happiness.

One of the main reasons why this song was successful was the continuity of the lyrics. How QB said "Tu tou na mila yunhee chal dia leke mera dil jaaney tu kahan" and Kaavish continued "Jaaonga kahan, main tou hoon yehaan, tere dil ki aahaton me hoon".

I don't think it's antiquated. It's also not about 'good enough.' It's about someone you connect with on a cellular level you don't connect with others. There are many people good enough for us. That doesn't mean we want to be with them. Antiquated is forcing people into relationships or matrimony. Choosing to love one person for life is not antiquated at all if that's what's emotionally fulfilling to a person. Just like it's perfectly fine to fall for different people.
