Wow you really can’t tell the columns are made with the tumbling tower blocks...hot glues over the cracks and sanding them down is really the trick! Thank you for sharing!
This is awesome. My husband is a carpenter so lucky for me he brings home lots of scrap wood. So I can make some free. But I love this so I can have as inspiration. 😊😊

Yes! I try to give credit where credit is due & share the love. We have the same followers so this isn't a contest. I try to be as positive as possible but it is aggravating to see some channels in the home decor/ DIY acting like there aren't enough viewers or subscribers to go around. No one watches ONE channel. Why not share the love?

@@GlueGunsRoses As a viewer, yes, I subscribe to several DIY channels. Even if y'all are making the same project, you have your own way of constructing or decorating it. Personally, I'm more likely to grab a can of black spray paint over rose gold but the point is the inspiration, creative process, and yes, sharing the love! ❤
Very cute. I love lanterns and candles everywhere. Candles in all of my windows and lanterns on my deck, patio and in my tall wrought iron lantern post. These will be a great addition.

You can use a Dollar Tree metal trash can or the shiny part from an air conditioner filter instead of chicken wire too. I've seen videos of diff people using either one. Thank you so much for sharing with us! I LOVE getting notifications for your videos. Have a safe and blessed weekend !

Just now watching this... I love the look of these lanterns over most of the diys I've seen. The only things I'd do differently is putting the skewer on the inside and using grey instead of brown.

Hands down best lantern diy that I have seen. I think the extra time that you took to sand down the tower blocks made all the difference. I could not tell that that is what they are make of. Excellent job I just love it.

When I first saw the cost. I said no way. Frames are $1 a piece. Then you amazed me with a new way to make the lanterns! Loved your video. You think outside the box. That’s great for us.

These are absolutely awesome, seemingly easy to make and the prettiest homemade lanterns that I've seen! No one will believe they're made from $Tree's shadow boxes, blocks and skewers. Congrats for all the love you've received for this video - well deserved!
