  • The over 330 kilometre highway from Morpus in West Pokot to Nadapal at the border of Kenya and South Sudan is an uneven surface full of gaping potholes, and broken concrete drifts that makes travel a tortuous affair. Recent flash floods have led to insecurity and deaths. Three weeks ago the Kainuk bridge that connects Turkana to the rest of the county collapsed and it took more than two days to temporarily fix it. Locals accuse contractors of doing shoddy work. NTV's Nimrod Taabu examines the state of affairs along this stretch of road in this special feature Rugged Ride.

A new bridge is under construction as the Kenha guy said. I was able to travel via a motorcycle from Lodwar to Nairobi in 9 hours in July, 2019. This is a good documentary.

I like the way Kenyans help each other. The part where the ailing old man was helped to climb the ladder. God bless you all. 🙏🙏🙏

It's true that Kenya ni central na rift valley alone that's why the government is launching New roads everyday in those two regions...lodwar people you have oil means that your county is very rich so the best thing to do is to seek for succession and develop your region before this corrupt regime steal your oil

Pietro Jenkins you can talk about the money that was used for the repeat of the elections but you don't see the looting which is going on in the government since 2013...it's only a matter of months before the jubilee government will surprise us with the new scandals...hii ni government ya ku launch ma barabara only in rift valley and central Kenya alone

Everything in Kenya always revolves around tribalism. Tanzania is much bigger, and has more tribes than Kenya, but you never hear anyone talking about tribes. They are United, that's why they're developing very fast. Kenya has a disease called tribalism.
