    For sure Uhuru has really taken Kenya to another level in terms of road infrastructures bt there those Kenyans who are easily fooled that uhuru have not done anything and they hate him. Bt for business men who move across the country and people who use their mobile phones well they have seen kind of work that's going on allover Kenya

    This is spectacular. I was last in Lodwar in the 90s. This cant be compared to the nightmare and agony we underwent in public transport. We actually took two days from Nakuru.

    I love this transformation I used to go to school in lodwar in 90s we had to be escorted by police and the trip took the whole day. Kudos to the government for helping this areas. This town made me from lodwar to Texas . Thanks Chams media for showcasing this

    Thanks Alex for that insightful journey. I was born and raised in Kitale and my family has been doing cargo business on that road for years. I can attest for sure that there were no roads in the nineties when Bayusuf and Sons trucks dominated the route. I carried on the family tradition and Iam a witness to the transformation. I drove to Lokichar to the Oil fields at the end of last year and I loved it. I saw several guys that I know on the video too. Keep up the good work bud.

    That scenery is epic. Those hills just add to the beauty of Turkana. Just one thing am concerned about is the charrcoal bags especially being a dry county that requires as much vegetation hopefully the county govt controlls the amount of trees that are cut down or people are sensitized on the importance of reforestion. You cut down a tree you plant ten of them. The county needs to purchase seedballs for these people to drop one for ten.

      I hope you noticed the two universities that are well established along that road. 1. As you enter Lodwar n the other almost in Kakuma. Very magnificent. Lastly there is a spectacular choma zone between Lodwar and Kakuma...

    This is a great job Chams Media and coming from you Alex Chamwanda. I can tell many local people in Kainuk, Turkana and West Pokot county will really benefit. The new roads by KeNHA are something and we need to maintain those standards.     When I was younger, I wished I could become president or be in a position to have the might to administer a balanced development across Kenya looking at the sorry state most of the towns in the Northern parts were in infrastructure wise. I'm now glad that I am realising my dream even without taking part in actually developing these world class infrastructure 😅

    Back 9 year ago I was occasionally using that we used to take police escort from kambi kari to lokichar it was very challenging we used to take 7hrs to 8 hrs from to kitale to lochichar

    I travelled to Lodwar in 2005, it was a nightmare. It took 12 hours from kitale to Lodwar. I had an opportunity to travelled again to Lodwar 5 yrs later but l declined due to bad experience. It is good the road is now good.

    I miss Turkana, i know some people in the documentary ,I remember when Chamwwada came to turkana back in 2019 to do a story on lake .turkana islands..am glad Chamwwada is back with more contents.Good job Alex Chamwada
