Hi, in regard to the no paying gel stain how long after staining a piece can I do a top coat and what top coat can I use
Once it’s completely dry you are fine to apply the top coat. You can use any brand of top coat you like. Shouldn’t matter what kind it is
Is the DB No Pain Stain considered a penetrating stain? I’m wondering if it can be used over liquid wood?
Gel stains don’t penetrate the surface so it should be ok. Try a small test area.
