the buttons are a map of where the floors are relation to the elevator. except for the leveling its a nice elevator.
interesting button layout thats why its fun to ride these cause u never know what you will find
Everything is scratched up the cd and since the elevator is a bit low on oil it makes a kind of scratching noise both when it starts up and arrives at a floor

Tried riding this exact elevator but it was out of order. Will film it in real time soon. Also after I filmed the Schindler MT at John Wanamakers/The Pavilion, it went out of order/IS too. Hope to refill both elevators in regular state.
That's the old A&S Building, the old Wanamaker's building at KOP Mall was demolished in 2011.

Older chime had the going up pitch as E-flat, the going down pitch as G-E-flat & the indicator floor pitch as F.

That would be stainless steel, since it is fairly easy to clean up, if it were vandalaized. It also helps to keep it rust-free, to an extent.
Why do Schindler HTs always take forever to level?
The CD stopped playing when the elevator door opened.

Hydraulic but fast
The leveling isn't really the problem... Schindler's indicators make you think your on the next level meanwhile you just started going up. I can see how that can be confusing but its the truth

The door close button DOSE work. On schindlers they take 3 seconds to close the door. It dose work.

Installed in 2001, high pitched was released in 2003. Schindler mostly decided to upgrade those low pitch ones to high pitched ones.
Fans and Elevators with Mr. Pullchain This can’t be a 321A due to it having a rear door, 321As don’t have a rear door.
Fans and Elevators with Mr. Pullchain 330A started production in March 2001.
