    Very sweet!
Coincidentally I gave a book about Frida Kahlo to my niece for Christmas: Frida's Fiestas: Recipes and Reminiscences of Life with Frida Kahlo by Marie-Pierre Colle and Guadalupe Rivera. Not exactly a kids book, but I'm 75 and my niece is 70. I'm much closer in age to her than to my half-sister, her mother, who was 18 older than me and who died in 1999. I visited my niece for a week around Thanksgiving in late November in southern California. Her house is filled with art. One predominant theme of the art works was the Day of the Dead, el Día de Muertos. So lots of Fauvist skeletons (Catrinas) and skulls. Also many images of Frida Kahlo. And, since her father, my sister's first husband, was a very talented artist, her house also contains many of his works. My niece loves to cook, so even though I haven't read the book, I knew the cookbook would be a hit, particularly as I also sent along a gift box from the Santa Fe School of Cooking.
I remember watching Martin Luther King's I Have a Dream speech on TV with my dad in the summer of 1963 a couple of months before I started high school. Five years later, I was active in the anti-Vietnam War and Draft Resistance movement when I was at M.I.T. I turned in my draft card at a big rally on Boston Common on April 3, 1968, the day before Martin Luther King's assassination.
To end on a lighter note, I have a book recommendation for you, your nieces, nephews, and other young people you might be gifting: The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf with drawings by Robert Lawson. You can move on to later Ferdinand the Bull Disney adaptations if you must, but start with the original, simple, pure minimalist original by Munro Leaf.

The Story of Ferdinand sounds brilliant, I’ll check if my local library has the book, thank you for recommending.

@@Fortheloveofclassics Thank you for replying to me Reesha. There's a great book called Glow: The Wild Winders Of Bioluminescence by Jennifer N R Smith. It's bright and informative in a simple way for both children and adults to enjoy. A series that my family has enjoyed & still does is the Franklin series of books by Paulette Bourgeois. The main character is a little turtle . We just read Franklin Finders Keepers. I reviewed both these books on Goodreads. I have so many more books to reccomend but one last one is The Fantastic Flying Books Of Mr Morris Lessmore, it's based on a true story.

Hi Dear Reesha, I am Samad. I have been following your book reviews since COVID -19, and love your content. Great Work! However, this is my first comment on your videos. I want to connect with you to talk about a few 'book's niche' related issues. I myself love reading books, and am a bibliophile and a book reviewer. I review books on my website. Please let me know, how may I speak to you? As I don't prefer to talk publicly. As you read my comment, please reply me. Thank you and stay happy!

Additionally, I am trying to add a link to my website and a link to the page of 'my book rating criteria', but it is getting removed from CZcams. I would love to share my book rating criteria with you, as they are self made. How may share the links?
