That is a permanent code. This might work for a while but it will start up again if it isn't the parking range sensor. Because what is happening is water (when it rains or car wash) is doing down in-between the taillight and car body and creating corrosion in the light bulb socket. There is a service bulletin on this. You have to replace the socket or taillight and then put some water proof caulking where the black part of the taillight meets the body (which you don't have any caulking in that area). It is usually water on the taillights that cause corrosion in the light socket that causes this code. Every schematic that I looked at pointed to the taillights. I replaced them and sealed them up and the permanent code went off on its own and the car works great now.

I appreciate the feedback. It still maintaining, but I am in the desert. It did rain more this year than most, and I have had it in the car wash. I will remember your feedback, when the problem occurs again, Thx a bunch !

What type of electrical connection grease did you use?

Were you having issues with your transmission and got this code? Also, about how much are the assembly tail lights?

@@robenc8738 I was having the same thing and it was corrosion in my taillight sockets. See my comment.
