Wish they'd bring back Wario's iconic Boomerang
It’s an item in Mario Kart 8 actually
He gave it to Mona in GiT
@@TheLonelyGoomba About Wario calling his “friends”, that’s their game’s way of saying he needs a staff of game developers for game testing and sharing ideas. Also, did you know that WarioWare Inc, the original, was Nintendo’s way of turning the microgames from a Japan-Exclusive Mario Artist game, to be it’s own series? They just slapped in Wario for marketing reasons.
@@TheLonelyGoomba Mona uses it in WarioWare Get It Together.
@@nickk3077 Get it Together's gimmick sucks. It tries to be a platformer almost, but in my opinion it doesn't work
Warioware captures the "weirdness" of Nintendo as a whole into a single franchise very nicely. It's just dumb, strange, fun that becomes a part of you and the things you like, even if it may not make sense to others.
This series emulates the wackiness inside people.
as a guy currently going through games design college, wario ware actually seems to be the most accurate simulator of the industry
It’s funny since there was actually a game called “Warioware DIY” that allowed you to make your own Microgames, and it sold half a million copies. I wouldn’t have known about it if it weren’t for Charjie making a video about it.
@@CalebBurnsGamesDotCom Glad to know I was one of them :)
I love how the first WarioWare game feels a lot like Wario Land 4, which is one of my favorite 2D platformers of all time!
Same devs (Nintendo RD 1) though I'm sure you knew so already
They even have the same sounds effect and share some music!
Truly makes it feel like an amazing sendoff to Wario's platforming legacy. It perplexes sometimes how little Wario Land's been appreciated in hindsight since (especially by Smash Bros-franchise for a long while before).
One of his greatest achievements after all
@@KonaKonaKaabisteru Well, Nintendo ruined Wario Land 4's legacy with Wario: Master of Disguise.
Microgame games are perfect for mobile devices. I am surprised Nintendo hasn't already released a WarioWare mobile game.
Give us wario land diy because that's already made for touch.
4:39 Goomba talks about Wario having 2 clocks on one wall but Crygor has 3 IN A ROW.
Not to mention they all have four equal-lengthed hands.
You know, there's something that oddly holds up well with this game. Even with Warioware Gold being a thing.... The atmosphere. Something about it is very distinct.... I remember especially liking Dribble and Spitz's level. Something about the drive through the rain and the music work weirdly well together....
You get it man. That’s why I believe WarioLand 4 is so special too. It’s the weird gba soundfont, the expressive sprites, and overall the feeling that you could expect anything.
I always feel bad for Spitz. He's always sidelined like he's a secondary character to Dribble, not like Kat & Ana where it's equal. The cat needs more love!
They even relegated him to Player 2 in Get it Together
I haven't played a lot of Warioware, but it does seems like Kat & Ana are bouncing back and forward with being treated as equals in one game and the next game one of them will be a secondary character.
Which is funny because Spitz is Dribble’s superior on the job.
I'll never get tired watching the Goomba's review! Especially WarioWare!
Me too! 😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
I love when Lonely Goomba goes back to his Wario roots
FINALLY went back to play those WarioWare microgames that he briefly talked about all the way back in his very first video!!!
Always loved how bizarre the Warioware games are honestly, and just the Wario franchise in general, really stands out.
I'd love to see you cover either of the DS Tingle games, those are very weird too and there's a good translation for the second one now.
P.S. Nintendo if you're listening make another Warioland game already! It's been way too long.
As a massive WarioWare fanatic, I would love to see you cover the other games in the future, if at all possible.
Never thought i would be addicted to this channel.
I love this series with an unmatched passion. Something about quick challenges in rapid succession really speaks to me. I hope that you talk about the GameCube follow up as well!
Fun fact warioware started on the 64dd as a mode called sound bomber in Mario artist polygon studio
If there’s two things I love, it’s Warioware and oxygen, and this video has both
Rewatched your channel a couple weeks ago. I have got to say that you've put a lot of time on your quality - it's awesome!
“Granted, he IS friends with a 9-year-old boy”
And then there’s the two KINDERGARTEN girls
And then a witchy little girl, a middle school inventor, and then ANOTHER girl working for him only to be near Young Cricket. But Wario's friends are still the coolest!
And an over grown 4th grader.
so child labour. and he doesn't pay them
It feels me with happiness to see lonely goomba using some backgrounds from smiling friends.
Lonely Goomba: “i’m gonna do less animation stuff and focus on reviewing games”
Also Lonely Goomba: *animates this video*
(Also, we LOVE your animated video game reviews, it’s what makes you so unique. Also, this channel is *VERY* underrated)
I hope you cover all the future games too
It's a shame WarioWare isn't very popular or well-known. This game is perfect for those with short attention spans, aka this generation, so I don't see why no one talks about it!
Uh, were you there for Get It Together's release? That game sold like hotcakes. Eeeeveryone was on it for a while.
Warioware is definitely well known lmao
@@guacamolenightmaretv7720 I don’t know. I bring it up around other people sometimes and they just don’t know. It isn’t as relevant as Mario or Zelda. I have never seen people play it or know what it is. I think WarioWare would be actually perfect for many people if more knew about it.
@@nickk3077
It's well known among my friends.
If it hadn't sold at all, there wouldn't be so many sequels.
@@curlybrace4984 It didn’t even sell the most in its week, it’s not huge. It’s not OBSCURE but it’s obscure for Nintendo’s standards.
My favourite Nintendo franchise, the characters are so much fun and the gameplay is unique
Wait, has anyone thought of saving this Goomba?! HES BEEN STUCK FOR NEARLY A DECADE!
CZcams: We thrive to keep our platform as child friendly for all viewers.
TheLonelyGoomba: 8:49
Lol, never change man.
It’s about time he played this masterpiece
I really enjoy the Warioware series and I really loved Get It Together.
Damn, Super Melon Bounce 64 has 4 player co-op? I never knew! I was distracted by the bouncing melons!
Thanks to CZcamss algorithm, I found you again Goomba!!! It's been since 2014 since I last remember watching
Nah, the biggest Secret of this Game ain't Pyoro 2. It's Wario dreaming about Mona if u get a score of 75 on the final Boss.
Seriously surprised Goomba didn't talked about that. Seems like a perfect chance for dirty jokes.
The one in the final wario stage?
@@Woohoowi1 Yes in the original GBA game
@@dariu536 alright I'll check it out
Loving these positive reviews, I would love to see you tackle the Warioland series in a positive light
I am thinking of revisiting them and also finally reviewing 3. Wario Land 2 particularly has a ton more content I never covered in the original video.
@@TheLonelyGoomba I can’t ducking wait if so. You have no idea how much the handheld Wariolands mean to me. 2 and 3 are my favorite games of all times. They feel so innovative for what they are, being handheld game boy color sidescrollers with relative freedom of progression and the interesting choice of invincibility I wish to implement and recreate in my games, and yet they are criminally underrated games due to their unfortunate circumstances. I’d do anything for them to get the light of day again
@@TheLonelyGoomba not to mention I always sort of associate the series with your channel and vice versa as the first video of yours I saw happened to be the one you did on 2, which was also my first real exposure to the Warioland series. Nothing too special but I felt it was funny
@@Hamantha Yeah I really do think they are the most overlooked Nintendo games nowadays. They were classics and now they're largely forgotten about.
@@TheLonelyGoomba it’s unfair. I’d take any of those games over most Mario platformers. I wish they’d have kept the invincibility, it was kind of novel
fantastic video as always!
Everytime I see a new lonely goomba video is posted, my day is made.
I hadn't seen your videos ever since I was a bit younger. Its good to see your new and old videos like the good times. Looking forward to seeing more of these!
Anyone else surprised he didn't reference the infamous "Guess I'll talk about Wario..." Line XD
Loved the video! Especially the credits at the end are a nice touch!
Ah yes the Wario game that outlived the other Wario franchise and totally not overstayed its welcome, with a memorable cast of characters that pushed aside Waluigi (even one of them almost got a spinoff), unique gimmick of minigames that don't last more than a second something that never gets used in a Mario sports title to this day, franchise which proved that Wario can be more than a rejected Adam Sandler one note gag character, making it worth every penny.
Still loving the new animation style! Great video dude! Been here since 2015.
Oh my god I though this channel was a weird fever dream but here I am. Welp. Time to start binging.
Is Zach Hadel paying you to say "iconic"? Blink once for yes.
Speaking of bouncing melons... Me: DON'T DO IT CARTMAN!
Love the vids recently, keep it up!
Love the patreon warioware words art style
Wario: just look at it...square...the shape of evil
For a sec I thought goomba in the thumbnail was has having a good smoke
I can think of 2 reasons why Wario has 2 clocks, Goomba!
1. Wario is a weird guy
2. What if Wario has a friend somewhere in a different time zone? So he can set the clock to reflect another time zone's clock if he really wants to.
Goomba you took a massive increase in production quality, I love this new era of TheLonelyGoomba Show.
I kinda expected nintendo to make a mobile warioware cause of how much money mobile games make for Nintendo, then again they would either made it gatcha or shut it down within 2 years
It feels like TheLonelyGoomba watched Smiling Friends recently considering how often he used the weirdly-funny word "iconic" in this video.
So happy to see you again mate and glad you love WarioWare. They are the best games x
im gonna explain a couple of loopholes about goomba's existance now. bowser has a shipping company that ships free stuff to minions in really shit situations. explaining why goomba has had tvs, buckets, hard drives, etc. and the second one the past couple of years goomba has been in a coma, explaining why the contents been getting weirder and weirder.
Lonely goomba is one of those channels that you can't help but smile when it uploads
i enjoy this new lonely goomba style i didnt know what to think when you announced the new style but i enjoy it
god that Patreon graphic looks spot on, talk about going above and beyond
Good going, Goomba, always nice to hear from ya
10:55 Bathroom Jam is such an underrated piece of music, it absolutely baffles me how this game could get this kind of music.
Unlike Dr Mario and puzzle League when you play Dr wario you can drag the pieces down by pushing down on the d-pad. Specifically mean the light pieces when they break off.
Always nice to see The Lonely Goomba upload
There's not even any Wario Land stuff in Smash. It's all Wario Ware from the stage to the music.
There is a single 'Wario Land: Shake It!' track in 'Super Smash Bros. for Wii U', and both Captain Syrup and Count Cannoli are Spirits in 'Ultimate'.
1:51 This is so accurate to homebrew game development it hurts
Has anyone noticed that lonely Goombas design has changed............again!?
I recently downloaded it on emulator, and it is so much fun!!! I remember growing up with the gamecube version, leading up to Smooth Moves on the Wii!
Always a good day when Goomba uploads.
Extra points for the Supporters animation and the end of the video
WarioWare is one of my favorite series in gaming. The creativity and variety is second to none.
Not going to lie I thought that white finger was him smoking a blunt at first
One of my favorite games. I also have the GameCube version.
Hi and love the return and new prof pic love all your videos
Wario Ware Touched was one of my favorite DS games, definitely gonna have to go back and give Inc another go!
Ya know it’s a good day when TheLonelyGoomba uploads. You really put a lot of effort into these videos man! If you want, I could give you a Personal Computer (PC) so you can check out some Nintendo Fan-Games! Super Mario Bros. Funk Mix DX, a mod of Friday Night Funkin’, would be a good start!
Support Pizza Tower. That's the closest we'll get to a Wario Land 5.
1:59 Glad to see TheLonelyGoomba’s iconic phone make a reappearance since the last video
Im glad you went back to the classic style
Man's been between those pipes since I was first watching CZcams. Damn.
Unusually good music is the best kind of music
I have no idea how I found this game on the internet, but this one and all the sequels turned into some of my favorite games of all time.
10:15
OH MY GOSH
It is the dude from Sky Vally Hell tree
First time Ive ever been this early to a LG upload, finally, after 6 years
I remember getting target score on the grid and intentionally losing lives once I got to the target. but sometimes I just tortured myself by continuing because I forgot the target number.
wow, I rmb playing this game when I was a kid, along with a bunch of other GBA games as well :)
I also rmb watching this channel back then too...
Been watching this channel since 2016, sometimes even rewatching old episodes I have saved on a hard drive with my other favorite CZcams videos. You were my first youtuber I liked and you are getting even better with every passing video. Also if you ever do another ask Goomba video please answer this question: What happened with the storyline of Bowser eating you from the episodewith you and Kemek playing that hospital game? Did he just spit you out and put you back in the pipes and your just stuck there again? Seriously kinda miss you storyline episodes. Love a good cliffhanger. Also my favorite video has to be the ET Gameboy one. Loved the animation and the fact you used the Aliens from Partners In Time
”Almost brings a tear to the eye” There's no almost for the guy who had to take a mop to that restroom in the aftermath.
And as the Warioware games are made, more characters are created.
Not sure, but I heard somewhere Ashley is the fan favorite.
Awesome work Goomba!
Unlocking Pyoro 2 must be hard
But getting a hole in one in that Warioware Gold golf minigame in on another level
This is the one game I missed out. Dammit.
Yes! I’m honestly hyped for this! Always wanted to see you review this game. Keep up the good work, lad.
I first played WarioWare Inc emulated on my phone, beat a majority of the game, and forgot about it. Years later, finally acquired a gameboy advance sp and bought an official physical copy of WarioWare Inc and totally forgot I had played it before until the realization that everything felt so familiar. That phone I emulated gba on died, and having the game on official hardware with physical controls felt so awesome. Love this game so much, glad I found an official copy before it went up in price!
2:31 under the pretense he will pay them. He doesn’t.
I still remember when there were numerous spin-offs of WarioWare. Like Hot Pixel on PSP, Frobisher Says on PSVita or those Newgrounds flash games that usually takes existing ideas and go mad with them, like this series right here! I also regret to first find out about the series through that awful Charlie and the Chocolate Factory video game on PC (Which is just an activity center, because those were a thing on PCs back in the 2000s.)
Another great video!
First
The most evil of shapes is triangle, change my mind.
If I'm being honest I'm liking the new style of animation goomba looks good
I love your videos.
I really enjoyed the GameCube version of this. Slightly more multiplayer focus making it an amazing party game. I was surprised when I picked up the original how many extras this version had to unlock.
Haven't seen you post in forever
The famous long running and Iconic Wario moment.
Great video goomba 👍
This is one of my all time favorite games. Nothing else strokes my 90s ADHD
