Really impressive I must say, I've tested so many Three 5G/4G+ sites and the speeds are so good, awaiting for my local area to get 5G up and running so I can get rid of my broadband!
I only get about 100Mbps on Three in Milton Keynes when on 5G. Could it be my phone a Huawei P40 Lite 5G or are Three not using as much spectrum on less loaded transmitters. Was just thinking of getting a new phone, as would like to use it for home broadband as well.
No, the P40 is a newer handset so it should give you the best speeds possible. It sounds like you’re connected to a 40MHZ mast which is why you properly not seeing a faster output. I would suggest downloading “nPerf” this should be able to confirm that for you if it’s a 40 or 100 MHZ site, all threes 5G in time should be 100 MHZ so you should see improvement in due time 😊
@@AndrewMcGuckin nice! I’m in the US and Verizon just bought 160 MHz of C band. I can’t wait until it’s all cleared and deployed. Those 500 mbps tests you post are on 40 MHz and the 900 plus on 100 MHz correct ?
Those speeds though god that's lot better kicking broadband ass there lol good video still 4G+is still good

How much spectrum is allocated 60-80 MHz ? Of 3.5 ?
Three UK own 140MHz between 3.4-3.7GHz, they tend to use 40 or 100MHz depending on backhaul.
