It is a W, but i completely don't understand the sorting system. I always sort by caliber. All the shells, bullets, magazines and guns go to one place.
I sort it by type of thing. All guns go to one spot all melee weapons go to one spot the mags and attachments were separated but there were to many. So you would grab your gun. Grab your ammo. Grab the mags, grab the attachments you prefer.
The house I took over actually has a room with lockers like in your armory. But I just store raw materials there. I even put a second refrigerator there that is yet to be powered again.

massive W; although 2 things I would recommend. 1) I can tell you dont have a weapon modpack, get the Brita's Weapons Pack. it adds like 100+ guns and makes the playthough more fun and lasts longer. 2) instead of the military crates, use metal or even the wood crates that you have outside of your armory because they can hold more than the military crates.

They are in the vanilla game you just have to have certain skills and a crowbar and find them in gun stores and pick them up like normal furniture. The checkpoint has a bunch of them. The display cases also from the gun stores.
if you stay in a random house and sit on the second floor they won't attack you, they'll just go in your area or not come to u at all. That is what I do. make sure it's far from your base so you don't attract all the zombies to your house. but make sure you can get out if necessary and hop fences and crouch behind buildings to lose most of them.

Dang you got it good. Especially with so many M16 and M14 rifles! All I found in my most recent playthrough episode is an m9 pistol with 1 magazine and 4 boxes of ammo for it, a couple boxes of an ammo for my revolver and an msr rifle with no magazine: czcams.com/video/_cqAYPuxn1I/video.html I bet if I look in the other houses in the riverside gated community (which I fully bordered off) I could find more guns, magazines and ammo.

i know about britas i made a video about the mods and i use the military crates for looks. trust me i have 350 hours.
W for guns, need more ammo boxes than that though. sledgehammer a wall, build an addon closet, triple crate with ammo.

Just mark them on the map and if u have spare time just go and grab them cause you can always use more guns for repairing and such

Look at project zomboid map project and find gun stores, police stations, and the military checkpoints. The prison and military base aren’t worth it.
