For the PokeBall Plus.. You need to have a pokemon in the ball apparently in order for it to Auto spin stops. If bought new, it comes with Mew and should spin stops because there is already a pokemon in there, so no need to have a switch to get it to work.
Gotcha Evolve - Apparently you can pull both sides of the bracelet off and can use as a keychain.

I started with the pokeball plus. Now use the gotcha evolve
If you get a pocket energy you do have to buy batteries for the Pokemon go plus it makes it reChargeable
The pokeball plus was $20 on target a few weeks ago this is amazing because it’s usually $50 I got the last 2 Pokeballs
if you're on android, you can download the go companion app which will remind you and vibrate whenever the gotcha or any of those gets disconnected. also boosts the connection. it helps me because I have a smart watch and it'll notify me if my gotcha is disconnected and i never miss it.
I just don’t understand why niatic can’t sell something similar digitally through the game, why do we need these physical devices that half the time don’t connect. Just make it an item that’s sold in the shop that u can turn on and off through the actual game. No need to connect to Bluetooth, no need to remember to bring them out with u, no need to charge or use battery’s.

One thing you missed about the Go-Tcha, if you use the app configuration, you can have it set to NOT catch pokemon that you have not encountered prior, giving you the chance to manually catch something new with berries or a better ball.

Which do you have?
I have 2 of the ranger Gotcha's. Just for those who want to know the differences in the settings they are, first one is spin stops, second is catch all pokemon, third is to catch pokemon you don't already have, fourth is the vibration setting, and lastly is the phone connection. Also the ranger has a built in 18650 lithium rechageable battery that lasts up to 2 months. It also comes with a built in charge cord and a cord to use on your phone to extend battery life! New phones will suck the power quickly so it is an emergency only use. Also has a fairly bright flashlight built in as well.

I've got the gotcha ranger. 100% recommend it. I can't live with out it. The power pack it comes with last for days and it's also easier to charge. I issue most ppl have with the normal gotcha is that the connector thing is a bit awkward and only shows that it's charging when it's first connected, then the screen turns off. Whereas the ranger, has a blue flashing light. It stops blinking when it's fully charged

Started with a Go Plus then changed to Gotcha and love it. Generally only use it to auto spin stops with no vibrate. For me that's the right balance of topping up balls and full control of what I catch and don't catch plus I use it hands free while driving and biking. Only negative is not knowing how charged it is but that is not a biggie. Thanks for the video.

In addition to all the ones he mentioned, there’s also one called the Pocket egg. It has essentially all the same settings as the Gotcha (no noise, no vibration) but it’s larger and uses AA batteries which can be gotten as rechargeable. There are two variations-single phone and dual phone, so that makes it similar to the Dual Catchmon. The biggest downside with these, as with the Dual Catchmon, is the price. But no one ever includes this one with the reviews. And like them.
Dual catchmon is the best. Gotcha breaks and is buggy. Catchmon goes strong all day and reconnects easily

I ordered a Go Tcha last week, im hoping it arrives before go fest! Unfortunately since im in Australia there isnt many places that stock much, the go plus is available in stores but it doesnt seem ideal

eb games sell the poke ball plus but its $70 i ordered the new go-tcha evolve watch my gotcha fell out of the baclet and i loss it so the new watch doesnt pop out so may be better for me not to lose it but mine came from ozgameshop taken a while aswell

As a owner of a duo catchmon two things you missed. The batterys last over a month. And if when it auto disconnects after an hour you dont have to touch it to reconnect. Just the pokemon + button in game on both devices. Or a single device with 2 accounts at the same time.
The batteries last for a month and then they die definitely or they last long, i didn't understand
Also the Bluetooth connection is much better than the gotcha, it’s +5m rather than 1m at a push for the gotcha. I personally got fed up after a few weeks of how unreliable the gotcha evolve was and got the duel catchmon, it’s in its own class much much better. But comes at a price. Great videos btw! 👍

Owner of Pokemon Go Plus, Go-tcha, Dual Catchmon and the new Pocket Catchmon.
Hands down the Catchmon series is by far my favorite because of being able to reconnect from the screen. The inherent disconnects makes this feature is HUGE to me. The only negative is that my go-tcha does better spinning and catching pokemon while driving in my experience.
I love my duel catchmon. It’s the best.
I have a Gotcha. It has been helpful especially when I’m just going for a nice walk in the park and so far it caught 2 shinies for me about a year ago.

Prefer to hand catch everything , tho due to having 2 phones on spotlight hours/com days I can focus on main n let alt have gotcha catch everything. Best thing my partner ever brought me !
I've had the newer Go-tcha for about 4-5 months now. It works great. Runs for about an hour before needing to reconnect. Only issue is that it only uses regular balls and will run through them fast. Otherwise I love it.

Cool thing 'bout the Evolve is that you can set it to catch, or not catch new entries for your dex. Also the evolve looks like, and now has even a clock screen. I hope they add even more options to it so that it's an auto catcher as well as a bit of a smart-watch. (not an am/pm region here and vibrations for msngr or whatsapp msgs would be cool).

I've got the "new" Got-cha since it was introduced. So so happy with it. I think I paid a little less than what it costs you right now in the United States. The only downside I can think of is that the red poké balls run out, but I can live with that.

I have a gotcha evolve and so does my wife its definitely worth getting it does disconnect and play up sometimes but its still better than not having one.
I have one as well. It disconnects at times and sometimes it won't register a pokemon on the map unless I move
Yes I tried the Gotcha-Evolve and the original Gotcha . I found the Gotcha evolve get disconnected much quicker........ so I use the original Gotcha , and refunded the evolve
If you use the go-tcha evolve and you don't have normal poke balls, does the go-tcha use ultra balls?

I got a go-cha for my birthday last month and was having a heck of a time connecting and keeping it connected. After some googling I found the free app 'go companion'. It boosts the signal of the gocha and now I can connect perfectly almost everytime! Love it for grocery shopping, driving, and in my pocket while working. Very discreet.
important note. the auto catchers use ONLY the red basic balls. if you run out of red balls the auto catch stops working. so when you manually play use your blue balls to catch things and save you red balls for the auto catcher

Just saw this and wholeheartedly agree with TTC on the Go-tcha. I do have a ranger and it does last for days. I just leave it in the car and it will spin stops and catch while I'm driving around downtown. I've watched another Asian CZcamsr who shall not be named and he uses the ball to this day. I can't believe he hasn't tried the others and thought kludging that ball up was a better option but I've only been playing a year or so. The pricing on these devices has changed since this video came out too. The Ranger is more in the 40-50$ range. I'll finish by saying this is the first video I've watched from TTC and this dude practically vomits useful information! Liked and Subscribed.

Hey Trainer Club just as an FYI the version 2 of the gotcha can be turned into a key chain. All you need to do is pull both side of the bracelet off. Love your videos man!

I have had the go-tcha since Christmas and I love it. I drive for a living so I bring it with me to work and turn it on and just let it go. Its been the best addition to my game.
Important note I think for the original Go-tchas. ALL charging cables and most of the attachments for them, wrist band, neckless, or whatever else, are made out of silicone. Eventually, depending on how often you use them, they will warp and you’ll have to get a new one. It’s the reason I stopped using them and got the ranger and latter the evolve.
Single Catchmon works great for me on IOS (one that looks like a 10k egg)
i have this one for about a month now. It definitely catches pokemon a lot slower than the Gotcha and it beeps when you run out of Pokeballs, which you cant turn off. I have had connection issues with it.

I have 3 units. Pogo plus, gotcha and gotcha evolve. The gotcha is good for driving, the evolve is good for walking around. The pogo plus is good for back ups, especially because the gotcha doesn't have a battery symbol. The evolve does have a battery symbol which was a nice touch.

I started with the go-tcha (original) but switched to the Pocket Egg.
One thing I like about the Pocket Egg over the go-thca is there are no "settings" it just auto-catches and auto-spins everything and I found with the go-tcha I found that I would bump the little button on the device and turn off either auto-catch or auto-spin without realizing it.
Pokeball Plus is way too bulky for me, I need something I can put in my pocket.

Since the release of this video, all of these have gotten 60-100$ more expensive, and have horrible reviews. What happened?
The go-tcha still works great for me and is at 35$ from GameStop (new) The bad reviews are mostly because of the bad customer service from the companies which should be expected as they are random non-Nintendo companies selling them
So I have and have used all devices mentioned. All updated versions in mind I currently use the evolve. It was a disaster at release, and to update and connect on a samsung....HOWEVER......once set up (which I used my daughter's iPhone to do quickly and easily) it simply outperforms the others. I dont know why, but it both jumps between catches and spins stops slightly faster than the other models. I have monitored it with software and it really does perform better . It's a matter of milliseconds but the result is reproducible. It stays connected on average the same as the other models. Usually If this happens pre hour mark it's due to network or input corruption. Nothing new.

I use the same Gotcha setup. I've dropped it outside & left it overnight in rain & it still held up & works. I mostly use it to spin stops

very informative, thank you!! ordered the regular go-tchas with the keychain dongle for the whole family. I prefer wearing my apple watch so don't need another bracelet, and the keychain looks perfect to just have with me while driving around.

I pulled the trigger and bought a Gotcha because of this video. Drove to grab a coffee, then walked around our small downtown area that has probably 20 stops. Gained 1/4 of level 26 in a 30 minute period. So pleased, thanks for the video!

Thanks for this video. I bought a gotcha 2 months ago and I am on 2 shiny catches with gotcha alone. It was awesome for Magikarp Com day, the gotcha caught a shiny magikarp before I did and I was trying to get one for a year and 2 months! I love it when I'm driving to work or at work with an incense. I got the pill shaped one you recommended, im about to get the Keychain holder because I'm not much of a watch wearer but it has gotten the job done for the last few months. I recommended it for anyone that is serious about the game. I was able to pick one up from my local gamestop store, i did get the last one like this so their stock may be limited, i would get one now before they dont have anymore of them. It was $34 and some odd pennies, i got on tax free weekend.

I'm on my 3rd Gotcha and where it truly shines is when you ride a bike to work etc. Sometimes it doesn't connect (tends to happen during community days for some reason) but mostvof the time it works as intended.
The biggest DIFFERENCE between Go-tcha and Dual Catchmon is that in Dual Catchmon you DONT HAVE TO REPEATEDLY PRESS THE DEVICE AND your PHONE to RECONNECT. You just have to press the connect icon on your phone, and keep the Dual Catchmon in your bag. WHILE the Go-Tcha NEEDS TO BE PRESSED each and EVERYTIME you have to connect as well as the connect icon on your phone.
In terms of convenience of play, DUAL CATCHMON wins by a huge margin. Specially for people with 2 Phones or those with a friend who tags along during Pokemon Go adventures.

Yep he barely touched on the catchmon its definitely more costly but the ease of use is way better than any others
Iv been playing pogo since it’s released date. I don’t why I never even considered trying one of these out. Five years later I’m regretting it lol I’m currently lvl 41 but having one these devices will help out a lot with the many level up tasks once you get to lvl 40 and beyond. Thanks for the insight, now I have some shopping around to do.

I came late to the party.
I started playing Pokémon GO in February 2020 because I finally upgraded my phone to one that could actually play this game, and my 10-year old convinced me to download it.
Now, I'm an adult (child) and I have played Pokémon since Red/Blue.
I can't keep my face attached to my phone at all times, and I have work to do.
I knew of these devices and originally wanted to purchase a Pokémon GO plus in GameStop, but they where no longer being stocked. I then went into a nearly re-opened toy shop which had alot of leftover stock and bought the last (dust covered) Gotcha Bracelet that you showcased for about 15$.
I'm absolutely certain that, that was the right choice.
With its help, I've leveled up to nearly 38 by now, caught at least 10 shinys outside of the community day ones, and it's so delightfully small and unobtrusive in comparison to the other on the market.
Yes, the Gotcha Bracelet is the best choice in my opinion.

@@noxx9662 yes, even if you have the blue or yellow balls(lol) it wont use them. if i know that i'll mainly use the "gotcha" for auto catching i'll make sure i have more red pokeballs than the others. beware tho, you do get a lot of run aways. run aways that you might want. like the shiny chansey that ran away from me.

Yeah, You really have to go through your inventory daily (sometimes multiple times a day) when you're running a Gotcha.

I was given the Pokeball plus for Christmas and have finally been able to use it now that I ditched my dodgy Samsung S8 which would never let it connect! It's amazing! First trip out, it got me 2 shinies! Kinda wish I'd gone with the Gotcha after watching your video though... Having to tighten the wrist strap around the Pokeball Plus to make it auto-catch/spin is a bit annoying, plus it's bulky... The Gotcha looks amazing...Might put it on the wishlist for next Christmas! ;)

Great video!, love the gotcha, still using my Gotcha, had it since launch, when the battery died a few months later, i swapped it for a 18650 battery, it now lasts weeks!, fix video on my channel, Have a good one!

I use ccv the poke ball and have the switch also. When it works it is ok but having major difficulties connecting with my S 8 plus any thoughts

Hey man, thanks for this review. I ended up getting the gotcha key chain edition like you recommend. I'm into catching a much as possible all the time. My question for you is, does it catch shiny pokemon or is that something you have to catch by normally engaging it? I wasn't too clear on that. Your videos are sweet, thanks!

I ordered the ball. I will also get one of these auto-catcher "watches", and lead a team rocket revolution......as soon as I put gas in my car to go to WalMart.
I got one of the rangers, after setting it up i went thru my favorite hunting areas. make a long story short 30 mins = 96 captures, plus all the stops and went from 0 eggs and 0 gifts to max each. I made one mistake had the sound turned on. it got very irritating, going off so many times. I was able to get to stops ,i have passed over in the past as they were on rail road track crossing and could not stop to spin. and my red eggs did not really drop due to all the ones from the stops. got over 10 new Pokemon. and i forgot to use a lucky egg, I will use one tomorrow. be aware rangers can have a connecting issue, watched a video of a 11 year old on how to fix,just depends on the order on how you connect the two devices. ty again for your video.
