A) No, this was filmed over 2 weeks ago I just finally got around to editing it so technically my last vlog was more current. I'm at 287lb right now down from 308lb peak weight, things are still going good!

A) He is in the autism spectrum and gets therapy daily, he has made amazing progress and despite his occasional randomness he's actually a very smart kid... Like so smart he fools me and manipulates me constantly! :P

I would consider that a valid reason to start one, assuming you legitimately dont have the money to pay for the medical bills.
Danmandingo That is 100% a valid reason, that would fall under 'emergency' and the return people would get is the satisfaction that they are helping to make your life happy again. You could share your experience, how you spend the money, how much it reduces stress, etc. There is a lot you could do with a campaign like that!

The whole thing kinda felt like begging. Sure I was almost murdered, but something inside (maybe pride) prevented me from asking for any kind of help.
That's why I never did it.
Danmandingo Not really a matter of if you work or not just if you absolutely NEED the extra financial help.
St. Louis Childrens Hospital has saved my son on more than just a few occasions. He was not supposed to even surrive, but God and Childrens Hospital with a refuse to lose attitude never wavered. My son starts kindergarten this year and I am so greatful, he is a strong and full throttle little man. The volunteers made blankets and toys among other various things or services. They are so amazing.

Shout out to Barancules...AWESOME! If you've never gone through something like this, you won't get how amazing these hospitals are and how special the volunteers are. We recently had preterm twins and one had some significant issues and had an extended stay in Primary Children's Hospital (Salt Lake City, UT). Volunteers helped watch the healthy twin while visiting the recovering twin and helped make the experience go so much smoother. Great Work!

There was a time when i was naive enough into actually creating a gofundme for my first ever custom pc. The same day I received my first dono I was scrolling through some other gofundme's and ran into one that involved a kid trying to fly home to his father for the first time. After reading the kids story I honestly felt like a complete ass, there he was trying to raise money for a heart warming cause with no donations and me over here with my first dono raising money for something that had little significance. I felt so shitty, and later on decided to terminate my crowd fund account and ended up donating some money I had left from my college savings account towards his trip.
Honestly I wont ever do anything like that again, and I hope others avoid doing so as well. Try to think more about what you need in life and less of what you want.

CZcamsrs always get bad media coverage because they say "Oh they are making millions from Google Adsense on CZcams" I personally think that is very wrong. The media also thinks that CZcamsrs are selfish and don't contribute to such great causes and that is not true for people like you. Great video mate. It really warms my heart and restores some faith in humanity.

Captain Technology I don't want any media attention, this was it's own reward. And you're right, a lot of people condemn me constantly for not doing enough for charity, etc when they don't know that I donate out of my own pocket yearly to Seattle Children's and several cancer charities. I don't make those contributions public for the most part because I do them for very personal reasons.

Man i love seattle childrens they are so nice i had treatment there just recently 4 weeks and 2 days and 3 operations. They have amazing volunteers who dress up as clowns and go to the kids rooms and volunteer dogs also they have a therapy pool and a play room for kids and teens. Its amazing especially the forest building.. They have 2 starbucks which everyone goes to i was there through the like 4th but i didnt know you went thats so cool and nice of you keep up the good work

You guys need to contact Staples. I work at one and we write off over 500 boxes of crayola crayons at the end of the summer because that's the only time we carry though specific ones. Were supposed to send them back to the manufacture but its cheaper just to toss them. This is out course a staples in Canada and the stock in the staples in the USA is different but im sure they have something similar.
