The internet has exacerbated offline and online sexual harms against children, overwhelming the child safety ecosystem. Thorn, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to combating child sexual abuse through technology. Their focus includes accelerating victim identification, preventing the spread of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and preventing abuse proactively. Utilizing machine learning and AI, Thorn develops and deploys technology prioritizing wellness and collaborates cross-functionally to maximize impact internally and externally.
