Johnny Depp was addicted to painkillers prescribed after a knee injury and continued to function and work, just as an example. Withdrawal from these painkillers is horrific and needs careful rehabilitation. Johnny got clean with help from his Doctor and team.

The state prosecutors are lucky the judge understood the magnitude of Alec Murdaugh’s crimes. Quite honestly it seemed to me the prosecution had already decided a bond would be issued freeing Mr Murdaugh. They should have based everything pointing to the terrible crimes committed by Mr M , not the stipulations requested should /when a bond be issued.
