This is why at some points I'm glad the enemy is sometimes not too enlightened, meaning they sometimes just break goals with like a 3 point overcap at the 2 minute mark allowing me to gain experience and help my team in the long run
Yep. Sometimes i see the enemy with 5 points and i purposely retreat so they just break it. Then i get a free lvl 7
I alway feel relieve when the enemy about to score 40 on a 3 point goal but their teammate score a 5 meaning if i overcap it might be a w game
While sometimes that can be good but it can be used as an distraction so they don't have all five members at ray but this prob never happens
IMO once a tier 1 gets broken, both teams should get Indeedees. It feels weird for a MOBA that you are discouraged from taking a turret/goal, I like the idea of overcaps and trying to maximise that, but I feel like breaking a goal should be something that gets rewarded, not punished (yes, you get some map control, the fight for the neutral is easier with goals... but it still is weird)
I was thinking instead of both teams getting indeedees, they get indeedees, but you keep the bunnelby/indeedee closer to your goal, and the top/bottom indeedee/baltoy in the center of the first goals. This means they get more XP, but you still get it as well rather than putting yourself at a huge disadvantage.
It's not even a map control when opponent has no incentives to go deep into our tier2 goal to get exp. Sure you can go deeper in opponent's side, but so what?
I feel like the reason it doesn't happen is because then Unite would turn into a game of chicken. You're already on a massive exp lead and now you can do basically nothing but farm and still maintain it if Indeedees did spawn in your side. If anything, the t1 goals should grant stronger effects later in the game to punish ppl harder for not keeping them and make defending them have similar reward than having them break.
This game already favors early game chars enough, these smaller comeback assets help maintain some of the balance of the game.
Idk for me it feels like it allows for a higher quality gameplay where you have to think well but what am I talking about when the game is decided by whoever secures ray no matter whatever you did in rest of the game most of the times
@@Warlord_Megatron The problem isnt the game needing you to think. It is that half the playerbase is incapable of doing so, so the other half gets frustrated about it.
It would be really cool if they would release YT videos or something for unite for guides on advanced strategies for soloQ. Even getting guys like you to make said videos would be really cool, its amazing what some simple explanation can do. Love the content as always!

I literally told to my teammates of last game that dont steal your jungles farm, come to bot lane for objective, defend top lane afterwards, dont break goal with low points break it after 3-4 minutes with atleast 40 points.
They all did exact opposite of what i said.
I think some servers also are just better than others like Japan and malaysia.

@HI-ho4bj tbf it's a lot easier to explain than to be explained to. Some people are just going to feel like they are being talked down to, they don't want to be just told what to do. Obviously you are correct but it's just not as simple as that unfortunately

When the opponent breaks your goals you better be damn sure your teammates won't farm the extra XP though, lmao.
And there's another reason: if you break goal before clearing the Altarias, the next round of birds will spawn nearer to the enemy goal (losing side)
Don't get me started with these players who doesn't even know that you should break the first goal either at 7 or after the objective secure. That's how you win games. Its so stupid that players break the goal before 7:20 and even if that happens, taking enemy side's wild mons. That's what people should do.

I rather have everyone being great at the game while having close and great matchups, than one-sided plays most of the time!
Most tunnle vision i got from what i experience either in team queue or solo is that... Some unite player tend to to aware the value if indedee and more focus on altaria camp when our t1 goal was broken by the enemy team. And even though we are few level behind most my team mate would just focus on war and not even go for the indedee farm :x

Ohh I had no idea! I always wondered how in the world the enemy team in my Cynthia Mode games always managed to keep up with my team in level despite being “absolutely stomped” and having their goals constantly broken while ours are still mostly in tact. Turns out that asymmetric goal breaking was probably the very reason why they could keep up. I never noticed while “stealing the enemy’s farm” that the enemy team’s side was where “the” mobs were. I just thought I was taking “their” mobs while my bots were probably taking our mobs. haha.
This is such a good video. Sadly unite players are still trying to figure out if a 5 point break is better than a 40.

Additionally keeping goals up make it easier to backcap late game for big scores. Like leaving a goal on 3 to break with a 100 later. I’ve won games doing this

Something I found helpful is whenever we break the bottom goal too early, after we take bot regi I ping the enemies tier 2 goal. People get tunnel vision on objectives but it seems like I can snap them out of that by pinging pinging the tier 2 goal. It doesn't always work, but when it does, it really just puts us so far ahead.
It's ok when you're stomping the enemy, but please just get rid of the objective and move on. I see so many teammates overextending then dying on a tier 2 when the objective is up. It's ridiculous

Stackers also hate you when you break a goal early. Forcing them to either not stack or have to go way to deep or to the other lane in order to get their value.
It can force people to make a lot of bad choices too in this scenario. Check if your lane partner has a stacking item and try to wait for them to finish their stacks if you can!

That's why I always try to break the bottom goal around the 7 minute mark. And wait till one of my goals get broken to break another one of their goal.
They should really let you keep the indeedees next to your goal when you break the enemy's goal.
2 things that irritate me so much: - when the jungler comes bottom at 7:00, breaks the goal and just gtfo instead of HELPING DO THE OBJECTIVE.
- when I don't want to break the tier 1 goal and my teammates are pinging me/harassing me to score, even though we don't have to.. and end up doing a perfect break on it..

People say this MOBA is simpler than most others, but I don't agree. If you want to win, you have to understand things like this, breaking goals is not always great for your team. Knowing which objective to go after is critical and soooooo often done wrong.
How many times do you see people go for the top Regi when the top goal is at 15?
I think people who call this MOBA simple don't understand it.

The only time I am not angry when a goal is broken early is when it’s over capped by 39. Then I am just upset.

My friends who used to play with me NEVER understood this concept. They would “the objective is to break goals!” I would agree BUT only after the first regi spawns.
Yea it’s pretty annoying this happens more than it should. I like to farm as much as I can before breaking it or before Regi appears.

Today I was playing Leafeon and I was trying to stack. I got 2 stacks and my leftovers Crustle broke the goal 1 minute before the first regi. The Combusken that I was bullying get level 8 before me and I was alone in lane, so, yeah, don't brake first goal too early, please.

in addition to all of these, There is PASSIVE catch up xp , for the opposite team. let alone giving them free extra bunnies to farm, they get to catch up for free
I agree but disagree with thought if that makes sense(?) Reason I disagree with not breaking the goal is because usually breaking their goal kills the enemy team's morale/sprirt & makes them surrender faster. However, I also agree with you because whenever my lane is overrun & I can't farm, I let the enemy team break so I can get my Indeedees to catch up. It hurts to have a goal taken but, it hurts more when I'm not at a decent level from dogpiles. (Just mute when ppl start pinging tho lol.) This is a good video tho! I already know the ins-and-outs of breaking goals at the right time & I hope other ppl see this and learn too.
It depends, breaking the goal at minute 8 does nothing but help enemy team. In order to hurt their moral, goals should start to be broken after the objectives spawn, get both objectives and push Regieleki to the second goal and also break it. There is a high chance they surrender, but if not, those matches can still be a loss.

There's always that one player that breaks goals that have one point left with their 5 points and think they did the right thing as if doing that would win you the game. It should only be done of it's first goal on top and you got Regieleki.

It's not that this advice is too complex or hard to understand. It's the fact that people have to be deprogrammed from thinking "breaking goal = Good". I think unite need to fix this mechanic and make it so breaking goals early is more rewarding because obviously right now there's not a ton of upside.
Cris do you advice letting them take the bot path if we're in a constant 2v3 And they're taking all the exp anyways?

The problem is that the game prioritizes scoring in things like MVP so people have the mindset of score score score to the point of throwing themselves at goals for no reason. It also doesn't help that stacking items exist. It's super unhealthy, and most of my games are lost due to players doing nothing but dying, trying to push second tier goals even when we are winning. It's stupid. And when those players get MVP because they scored a lot but did 0 of anything else, they feel validated like they did the right thing when everyone else knows they were the problem.

I wish people would understand that this game isn't about scoring, it is about experience. Sometimes a big score can be worth it if it will get you a power spike, but honestly, most of the time, it's best to just leave it on 1 and let them break yours. Seems crazy, but if you have an experience lead AND they break your goals without theirs being broken, you almost can't lose the match.
Back in my day, breaking the outermost objective was a good thing.

What’s truly baffling to me is seeing someone with 10k+ games played and them being utter garbage. Like I don’t claim to be a pro but I’ve played like 4k games and I’m at the very least competent lol

Imo it’s good to break it, this will make the team fight at that lane objective way easier to win. The enemy team cant take cover under their goal while you can. Doesn’t matter that they get 3 indeedees. Plus you are safer to invade enemy jungle.

This is really short sighted. It isn't JUST 3 Indeedees. They spawn continuously, so the earlier you break their goal, the more often free farm spawns for them throughout the game.
Also the Regis are far enough from the goal that you can do fine in the team fight. If you force them to retreat/take cover, just finish and secure the Regi while they're healing. You can get the goal after.
@@pumpkin7446 Listen, i get what you're saying. If you have coms with your team this is true. But in solo queue with AI robots as teammates, they wil try and dive enemy goal when we dont have advantage and lose hard
