The Ribbon Fighter | An Ace Combat 7 Cinematic

- This has been the most intensive cinematic that I've ever worked on. Nothing else comes close to this one. The foundation for this project came from listening to Blockade and Sentry's Brunt on repeat because it is one of the most unique soundtracks I've heard within the Ace Combat series. That's when I got the idea to make my own remix of Sentry's Brunt, using an alternative version of Blockade that is in the same key as the former. The end result was absolutely glorious and I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts in the comments. After the remix process, it was an intense two months of recording content that emulated some AC04 missions. That's why I have to thank my dope stuntman and AC04 advisor (he knows AC04 front to back) @darkdizzy_ for all the extra assistance. Lastly, I would also like to thank @Nassault for creating the Blockade video as it truly served as a pillar of inspiration for the latter half of this video.
Keep in mind that some of the things you see in this video are extraneous and not completely 1:1 as seen in Ace Combat 04. I hope you enjoy the video!

I love how you included the official formation from how they explained it in Ace Combat Infinity! If I recall they set an F-22 for Mobius 1-2-3-4, then the Typhoon for Mobius 5-6 and Rafale for Mobius 7-8.
I didn’t even know that was the case for Infinity! The skin mods I used already had the squadron positions labeled so it was easy to swap them accordingly.

A while back, thinking about all the similar missions between AC7 and AC04 I did a little "custom campaign" of my own as Mobius 1, going through the most similar missions to create the feeling of playing AC04's campaign. Here was all the missions I had come up with, some of which you had as well.

These are all pretty dope! Homeward as Operation Bunker Shot is quite interesting and I never really thought about that. With map and lighting swaps, it brings a whole new level of immersion. Cool to think that you and I had the same ideas for some of the missions! :)

Impressive camera works there. I don't think even IGCS camera tool, let alone AC7's replay system can replicate that.
How did you achieve free cam tracking of non-player objects like missiles and AI planes while still able to manipulate controls like 360° pan and fly-by?

I have a theory that Trigger yoinked Mobius' F-22 off an IUN base and repainted it in Osean colors, in the midst of his severe crippling autism. Mobius 1 himself was likely fighting with the IUN themselves using one of their comically-too-many Tomcats, and Pixy was *(REDACTED)*
