I've had a styes and a chalazion last year. It took three months, but it went away. I used moist-heat eye mask and an ointment called PRID.
I got another chalazion this year and it swelled up quickly and painfully. Nothing really worked. I was just dealing with it and avoiding people.
I researched (in desperation) what causes chalazion and basically all eye problems stem from Vitamin A deficiency. I immediately began eating better and taking a multivitamin.
I also did all the whacky remedies in a last-ditch effort. Eyelash scrub with tea tea oil and heat. Nothing worked except the hot salt water rinses and dabbing castor oil. I started both of those and the very next day it was smaller and less red. It improved every day! Use hot water as hot as you can stand, not room temp, and good natural salt (I used Pink Himalayan) and used a shot glass to soak my eye for about 60-90 seconds and blinking vigorously.
It's been five days and it's gone! I am commenting to videos to help other people. Ultimately, I believe the Vit. A must have helped tbe most.
    Happy healing, everyone!!!

I have two, one on each upper eyelid. Seriously annoying! First one since January, second one is a week old. I thought the first one would go away on its own but hasn't and now i have two since last week. Very hard to keep my head up in public with my eyes looking weird...seriously depressing. I'm wiping both eyelids morning and night, need to start the warm compress too. Fingers crossed...

I had a eye stye on the starting of 2021, I didn’t actually take much care of it since I was busy shifting to another country.

it's so annoying to have these. Mine started at the upper eyelid and when it was finally getting better, my lower eyelid started developing another stye, and now I think it is chalazion because it doesn't hurt and doesn't really affect my eyesight. My doctor prescribed antibiotic drops and advised me to come back for minor surgery if it doesn't go away after 2 weeks. The surgery is quite costly and despite applying antibiotic drops 4x/day, my chalazion doesn't appear to be bothered at all..

To be honest, I've had this for at least 11 years under the eyelid, and each time it gets big enough I just pop it with my fingernail, and nothing ever happens afterwards except alittle a bit of tears, but they could be the oil draining from the popped pimple underneath.
I have done this time and time and time and time and time again for the last 11 years and ther was no infection or blindness or hindered sight afterwards.
But it does come back every few months, and I just do the same thing.
MANY will recommend not to do this in the comments, but also I see in the comments that a warm cloth doesn't work that well. So I just pop it, and I'm fine and relieved afterwards.

I got rid of a huge chalazion by using heating glasses. I'd put them on very hot, using some thin cloth for isolation and just fall asleep in them, then I'd just pull them off in the middle of my sleep when they are cold. It took two weeks. Day by day the chalazion was getting smaller and then disappeared. Not only it was huge but also I had had it for over a year.

I have been dealing with this for almost 2 years and nothing is working. Started in early 2023 and I got the eye surgery several time on each eye. The last doctor did something different and I almost didn’t have any problems for a few months and then it came back again. I am so tired of having this surgery I’m about to just have them remove my eyelids bc at this long I am so tired. Having these bumps on my eyes make me so insecure luckily I wear glasses so ppl can’t see them but I do. I have to look in the mirror every day and see this. I disagree with heating and rubbing chalazia. A chalazion is an inflammatory response. Ice is therefore a much better treatment. If it is only a few millimeters, keeping the glands open with hypoclorous acid should clear it in a few weeks. Irritating the eye with heat and rubbing is only likely to slow the reversal of the inflammatory response or increase it in the chalazion. However if the gland is still backing up and making the chalazion grow, expression and or heat is needed to open the gland. If the gland isn't open, I don't see how one can hope for a hardened lesion to drain. Compresses and massages made my chalazion worse (although they may or may not have been necessary to open the gland). Stopping them has almost cured the 4 mm x 2 mm painless inside the bottom lid lesion in a few days. The key is keeping the eyelid edges clean while patiently waiting for the lesion to resolve in a few days, weeks, or months. In short, I recommend icing the lid, hypoclorous acid and patience.

@Ernisa Alla So I think maybe 3months or less. Because 1.5 months in I got lazy and stopped doing an eye routine. It was getting smaller so I thought it can do the rest on its own. Nope, just went back to it's previous size.
I guess my routine is whenever I washed my face (by sink or in shower). I used my face wash but made sure to do the little eye massage technique described in most of the videos. Gentle movements towards eyelash and also windshield wipes before washing everything off.
No makeup or heavy sunscreen on my lids.
And for safe measures, I went to my department store and bought some eyelid scrub wipes. I think it's probably just soapy water on a wipe but for 6/7$ I didn't mind and it came with many. I wash my face once a day and used those wipes every other day (I get lazy so just whenever). I still have some, so it's called OCuSOFT Lid Scrub Original. But there were many other options in the eye section by contact solution/stye ointments. Any Target/ Meijer/ Walmart should have something in that aisle.
So It doesn't come back, I just do the little massage thing everytime I wash my face.
I don't know if this will work for you but as long as you're consistent with whatever your method is and don't overdo it (irritate your eye) then you should be good 👍
      Good luck!

to any Indian or sub-continent people suffering from chalazion, I'll recommend you to use flurisone eye ointment, I had one chalazion for almost a year, I was prescribed neosporin ointment and some tropical drops and it didn't do any wonders for me. after almost a year I went to a doctor he gave me mega cv 650 and flurisone eye ointment and a tropical eye drops, within 1 month my chalazion went away.

i'm really frustrated by this time i'll try my best not to trash in my comment but if i does ignore it in the name of frustration, warm compressions are not helping dont know why, in 2022 one had appeared for the first time after 3-4 days of inflammation there was painless lump on upperlid left eye, i left it untreated then after few months around 4-5 i guess i had this other one, on the same site, over that last one, the 3-4 days process of inflammation and then when inflammation settled the lump was even more bigger, but this time i treated, just after it 1 day i went to eye doc he treated the inflammation but chalazion, then again for the next time, long story short, i had 2 more of these shit balls, the time span was around 6 months later, again inflammation and all but this time the inflammation sets down the doc told me to undergo a minor surgery, btw i had two surgeries within two weeks by fuking two different docs ,she (1st) removed two of them but that was painful and she said that she had removed 80% and will removed rest of in next session and the surgery by this first doc was terrifying because i numbness medication injection was insufficient and during the process i was feeling incisions through my skin and pinches and - and yeah by this time i had two more chalazions but in the right eye lower lid and i addressed her about it anyways she never shitted about it because those on the left upper lid were more appealing to her because of the size - never mind, btw the she was shitting about that 80% of chalazions are drained apparently, i can see after inflammation settles down and drainage was around 50%, by the time of 80% healing they told me to undergo another minor surgery this time 1st doc was gone, now this less experienced crap performs the surgery and i must say the surgery itself was painless compared to previous one but was total was of effort, money and time, besides that last 50% drainage the condition wasn't improved a bit literally, and these surgery were performed around 7-9 months ago i dont remember the actual time frame so please ignore, currently i have 2 or idk 3 on upper left lid and 4 on the lower lid right eye including the new one occurring by the watching this video, so sir is there any solution to this recurring chalazion, i'm planning to go to new doc this week i guess he might suggest surgeries and god knows what results would be. now my face is an unsymmetrical mess which i'm very proud of. if posssible answer the question

For recurring chalazions, consider seeing a specialist for a comprehensive treatment plan, including potential oral antibiotics and steroid injections. ❤️
