The Scheps Omni Channel is one of the most versatile and well thought out plugins I've ever used. The way each module compliments the next is so useful in mixing and production.
On this QPT video I wanted to walk through how I use it to treat a lead vocal. All the elements that I reach for when it comes to my vocal chain are all within the omni channel, and it speeds up the work flow immensely.

That Melodyne kills the vocal more than it saves it, I stopped using it few years ago completely and changed the workflow so even a bad singer can give the minimum that does not need any destructive editing if this kind.
What is interesting, everyone uses it no matter how good the singer is, it became the OCD thing as people can not imagine a vocal without it.
