I am an old white man who grew up with the Bee Gees and I appreciate them more than than ever. I love watching your beautiful young faces smile and enjoy the same music I do.
It literally made me tear up...well the Bee Gees can have that affect too.
Groovy... now you're talking my language. At 70, this music still touches my soul. So pleased to see their music has the desired effect on lovers.
I LOVE it that young people like you are discovering the greatness of the BeeGees. In this clip: the tallest guy with the big hair and beard: Barry Gibb born September 1, 1946, the only surviving Gibb brother. Guy with long hair: Robin Gibb, born December 22, 1949-passed away May 20, 2012, balding guy with beard Robin's fraternal twin brother Maurice (pronounced "Morris") Gibb, born December 22, 1949-passed away January 12, 2003. They also had another, younger, brother Andy Gibb, born March 5, 1958-passed away March 10, 1988.
The three oldest brothers were born on the Isle of Man (UK). Oldest brother Barry got seriously burned when he accidentally pulled boiling tea over himself at 18 months old. He was in coma for a while, nearly died and was in hospital for many months. Because of this, he did not learn to talk until after the twins were born. Later the family moved to Manchester and from there they emigrated to Australia in 1958, right after Andy was born. Their musical career, which they had started as little kids, didn't lead to international success so they moved back to the UK in 1966. Then they had a string of big hits, until they temporarily broke up around 1970 for 15 months. Started back up, looking for a new sound which they first found in 1974 with the transitional album "Mr. Natural". After that "Main Course" was the first album that moved them into a new direction: more rhythm&blues, dance music like with great hits like Nights on Broadway and Jive Talkin'. From 1976 on they went all out with falsetto driven dance music which lead to their biggest commercial success as they provided classic songs for the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack (1977 Stayin' Alive, How Deep is Your Love, Night Fever amongst them).
It's so refreshing to see the young generation as yourselves enjoying this beautiful music, especially those from the Bee Gees. They have a fast paced song Staying Alive that may be familiar to you, along with You Should Be Dancing...they'll have you dancing off you seats. More Than A Woman is a must listen to as well.

Andy joined with his Brothers onstage few times. I believe that if he did not died back in 1988, Andy would be part of his Brothers group as 4th Bee Gee. I think it was Barry's plan to include Andy as a Bee Gee.
Barry often calls Andy as his younger twin because they looks similar.
Now, he is lone Bee Gee except for kids especially his son, Stephen "Steve " Gibb who plays guitars in his dad's band.
We Brits are proud of them.

Great reaction! In my humble opinion the best three songs of the Bee Gees are - Fanny (Be Tender With My Love), To Love Somebody and More Than A Woman. Dionne Warwick also had a great cover of the Bee Gees' - Heartbreaker.

Listening to one earbud, is causing you to miss half the information. Stereo is two separate channe4ls of information. If the song is in Mono (one channel of information), then it wouldn't matter.

They recorded 22 studio albums, wrote for 4 soundtracks and 2 live albums and wrote and did back up or duets on 11 more. You probably have their songs in your Playlist anywhere from Elvis to Kenny Rogers, Michael Jackson and hundreds more had 5 in the top 10 at one time. Every song is so good and so different it can be your favorite. They don't have that one recognizable sound like most groups. I lived through those decades and didn't realize how many songs I love were the Bee Gees too. They've written over 1,100 songs. They started singing together when the oldest was 9 and the twins were 6. Musical songwriting geniuses.
