We finally get some lore.... and not just about Keiji. I'm not sure I like where this is heading...

Just lowkey, They claimed that the dummies couldn’t be the person from Asunaro, but couldn’t one of them be simply pretending to be a doll...
theory on ranmaru and hinako being dummies which i found on wiki but i have some supporting evidence for it and im posting it on like every one of these types of comments speculating that. so credits to them since i’ll just copy and paste it. Hinako and Ranmaru are human.
“Ranmaru- he didnt feel any pain when he died, and Sara's comment was that it was like he fell asleep, two nothing was wrong with ranmaru's bandages, if he was stabbed they would have been torn, meaning the only thing that really could have happened was blunt force even that would leave a mark but it didnt. It's possible that ranmaru wasn't even injured. I'm still confused on why blood was coming out of his mouth but if he somehow got blood on him without noticing and was then drugged he would believe he was dying right? So I believe he may still be alive but doesent know it himself.
Hinako- I'm not sure if she knows she is alive or not. However in the painting room there is multiple paintings of dead people who died, one is a girl we haven't seen before but seems to be wearing hinako's or a uniform similar to hinako's she has black hair and is fallen on the ground in a painful state I believe this is either the real hinako or a non candidate hinako was with, there is also a difference- Hinako as a doll doesent want to die, she freaks out when keiji mentions about running away for a second to do something of the sort and freaks out saying how her head'll fly off. Two, in my opinon hinako looks a hell lot older than she says she is, main reason: her chest I know I know, but even though she is around kanna's age you can see a major difference in the chest area, which is strange and not to mention. Something I find really off, doll hinakos legs, despite her legs being the only thing we see in her Victim Video she has incredibly thin legs that just look out of place, and since we know hinako was hanged it's likely she died in the locker magnet trial room, but shows no reaction to it. Second question- why was there blood on the ceiling of that room when the person was hanged? My answer: she was beaten while hanged like what ranger did, this also makes sense for the painting that after being beaten up the trap was deactivated and she fell to the ground,”
honestly my bet is on ranmaru, why would he be given to us specifically and he’s the only one with the asu-naro info but maybe it’s bias from how much i love ranmaru. also it’s noticed how sara pointed out that ranmaru looked like he was sleeping so it could help that drug theory. by the way, the hinako doll thing may just be ryoko since she died and has dark hair.
not to mention, sara describes ranmaru as sleeping, not seeming about to die or is described such as the others. heres the part in the comments i was talking about to someone.
"Ranmaru videos have an unclear ending, no blood flowing, or screams of pain like the others . Drugs? I think that makes sense .. considering that Ranmaru doesn't seem to be fully aware of the video, and he looks like he's muttering throughout the video. Why does his hand hold his stomach, as if his stomach is indeed bleeding, but the bandage is still neat. Maybe the blood came from someone else and the splash hit him? or instead the blood that flowed from Ranmaru's mouth?
But the blood that comes out of the mouth can be caused by things like.. maybe ranmaru is banged hard against the wall?"
also, just want to say that every single victim video has the dummy seen their last moments before they died. (ie, anzu before getting pierced, hayasaka before the axe swung, mai before she pulled the trigger, etc, etc, you get the gist). BUT, ranmaru and hinako were just skipped to their death. ranmaru was already bleeding and hinako already (hung???) or suffocating. also, ranmaru and hinako show more emotions than the other dolls. ranmaru helped q-taro when he was stabbed by mai, if you chose the sou route instead of kanna route, ranmaru offers to get tagged by sara instead of keiji. im not entirely sure why this route SPECIFICALLY has that, kannas route doesnt have that choice which is strange. hinako seems to have the most fear of when keiji mentions staying apart. final piece of evidence is that ranmaru and hinako both didn't mind death. unlike the others, who were crying, shaking, etc.
(extra that might just be a concidence: ranger wasnt wearing any clothes or accessories ranmaru/ hinako were wearing but rio doesnt need to wear everyones clothes. extra extra: hinako seems to be talking to ranger in her victim video)
Aw, you missed a cute conversation between Gin and “suit-and-specs” by not visiting the coffin room before fixing the elevators. Also, Keiji and Hinako are there, too.

I just realized that the song that plays when Haysaka talks about Asunaro is the same as the one when Keiji talks about the The Hades Incident

2 months, another chapter and a whole lot of research later, i have formed more specific position in the topic of Keiji and Sara.
An instance of a young* girl being invested / teasing romance to an adult is not unheard of in multiple works of japanese media, both fresh (Ai somnium files) and dated (digital devil saga). Safest to say, its a "trope" - common in games or books, unacceptable to some cultures, believeable to some other.
I also don't see age gap being this big of a barrier in 'attraction', especially that asian people don't age this much in appearance.
However
i personally like keiji and sara interactions as nankidai made them: innocent, lighthearted. Sara is a developed* cute girl, 2 months away from being 18. You dont need to want to date someone to admit theyre attractive, or be kind to them and care for their wellbeing.
Which is what i find really befitting Keiji's character. Even if he's a ladyman, he doesnt try - nor even want - to seduce her. He acknowledges her as a pretty girl, enough to convince others to 'we're on a date' bluff or joke nervously in cramped elevator. BUT she doesnt find it a romance, and he doesnt find it a romance either. There is deep bond between them but its built on something completely different, something that has absolutely nothing to do with physical attraction: mutual understanding, concern and care, mostly connected to their mental scars, both dealing with the demons of guilt of the same nature.
They are not in "relationship", they have "relation".
*In all of these instances the girl is physically - bodily - mature. Instance of being attracted to a child that's physically undeveloped is ALWAYS sick and unacceptable.
13:43 I see i wasn't only one to question Rantaro's information, although my suspicion reached something else. Particularly, not once has Ranmaru said "a spy". Everytime he spoke, he said "a human from asunaro". Is it possible that it's going to be a red herring, since Qtaro is basically a [human] from [asunaro] orphanage?
And also: 22:43 who do we know, who has died hanging, with their body mutilated?
