Janemba imo is the most slept on character in this game. I have a friend who mains him and he is super difficult to fight against because I am such a timid player.
This is a weird request but could you do a “How to counter” series for the characters in DbFz? You’ve been playing this game for a long while and have more experience then most and you’re a literal god at this game so I think you’d make great use of the idea! (It’d also help me not be garbage lol)
Me over here playing Hit with the easiest counter in the game. I took down a Rose rank to half health on two characters with nothing but the counter and assist. I really dont know how he got to that rank considering he kepts dashing into the counter.
I just want to say that, I've been watching your videos for a bit and I've learned a lot from watching you play, you commentary is hilarious and excellent and you should make a merch shirt that says, "love to see it.." or something along those lines cause you generally close most videos with that.
Janemba has always been my favourite movie character for DBZ and favourite character to watch people play in the games. But your Krillin never stops dominating, Janemba put in some work but your Krillin always seems to be a nightmare.
It's been said many times before, but it's worth repeating: Doto is such a good entertainer. I don't play FighterZ (I know I'd be terrible at it), and I often get lost in the fighting game technical jargon, but the gameplay is always fun to watch. Doto just happens to have a gift when it comes to on-the-spot commentary. I initially got here from The Three Idiots videos, but so far, Doto has been the most consistently enjoyable to watch! Keep up the great work! Oh, and since this seems to be your thing: "Girl Power" Team: Kefla and any two of Videl, Android 18, and Android 21. Any assists, but special restrictions: you can't call in the Great Saiyaman (as Videl) or Android 17 (as 18), since this is supposed to be an all-girls theme team. ^^
If they're blocking in the corner IAD JH into assist plus 214H is good for pressure (but so is any blocked jumping attack). Janemba's JH is also a great up-tech option because it has so much range below it and it can be good at stuffing super dash
@ Yeah but in Japan, they still consider one sibling to be the older and the other the younger. One example of the top of my head is Dante and Virgil from Devil May Cry, they’re twins but Vergil is said to be the older one and Dante is considered the younger one.
So there are a couple of setups that you can do with a lvl 3 knockdown with the green orb, alukard has a good guide on how to do those setups in his janemba guide so if you’re interested I’d check it out, Janemba is a top tier character after all

9:30 your opponent won't tech out of jenemba's level 1 until they hit the ground regardless of how high you are when it hits so you can wait until they get closer to the ground before you dhc
@0:31 You got caught in the blast of Trunks' assist. Ran it at 0.25x speed and Krillin gets knocked back at the same time as Yamcha, even though you're almost over the blast. Goku looks to be blocking at the time.
Hey Doto I got a challenge team for you UI Goku (A assist) Roshi (B) Tien (Dealers Choice) The challenge is you can only use their Lv 1-2 supers in places where you would use a Lv3, and if you want (similar to when Kaggy did his Laugh lose challenge with you) if you at any point use a lv3 or dont get a kill with your supers you have to play Lotus with your worst characters.
Doto, i highly recommend to use green orb as pressure in the corner. And Janemba has Bardock auto combo syndrome so i recommend you take advantage with that t a i l range. Additionally green orb could set you up to a stagger into TOD with certain characters Edit: Green orb in the corner can also set you up for jump mix-ups or empty dragon rush
Hells gate is absolutely amazing when paired with assists for blockstun, plus of it hits a blocked opponent, they never, and I mean ever, counter a following DR
Five Team Suggestions I had were. Team "Too Many" (Videl, Nappa, Android 18, Goku Black, or Ginyu) you can have any variation you'd like. Team Saiyan Armor (Bardock, Base Vegeta, Nappa, Ginyu, or DBS Broly) again any vatiation. And Team "After-Image" ( Krillin and Gogeta ), third slot your choice. Team Blender (Gotenks, Bardock, Cell, Yamcha, or Kid Buu) any variation. And Team Movie Villians (Cooler, Broly, DBS Broly, or Frieza) any variation.
I'm not going to lie, I don't play DB Fighters, I don't know much about the game apart from seeing videos because I never played it, but I love love watching my boy Doto playing this game. Have a great day my man!

I think orb can be annoying as pressure after hard knockdown, but that may be big brain stuff, just making a little extra damage as that final combo is good enough
His orbs can be used for oki to increase pressure or it can be used as a block string extender or in a combo (which looks sick btw). It’s basically a third assist depending on how you use it.

As a janemba main i gotta agree getting used to his air heavy is pretty annoying. It really doesnt do much, it kinda helps with spacing and fake outs but ultimately ive learned its not awesome. Just use air medium, its just as good as other characters air heavy
Doto, you should do the Blue Vegeta Spirit Bomb combo. When you hold the imput for blue vegeta's Nigeria Pummel level 1, you can instantly DHC into Goku spirit bomb

Honestly. Practice set ups in practice mode. But practice also what to do when you drop a combo.
You won't be able to learn how to play against other characters from someone else's pov. You're better off learning it yourself

The jumping heavy is mainly used to stall in the air along with teleport and hell's gate gives you a lot of movement in the air
Lmao good stuff. To use his counter effectively, buffer 22 fullscreen and hit S on reaction to a ki blast/beam/assist call
