Tyler especially would've greatly benefited from being a three season character. Action would've been perfect to use him for comedy as well as fleshing out his relationship with Lindsay (which would've then gotten rid of that arc from World Tour, probably for the best).
Considering that Action was the season to focus the most on comedic relief characters I feel Tyler and Noah would've been great additions to the season as Noah's snark and wit and Tyler's slapstick and lack of brain cells would've given us some really funny interactions and moments,if Tyler managed to merge I can only imagine how great he could've been around Harold,we were so close to greatness.

I've always thought the 3 best finalist duos for Action were the one we got, Duncan vs Harold and Harold vs Lindsey.
I disagree with the notion many people have of Beth doing nothing the whole season, and I quite like the opposites meeting her and Duncan provide, which is what the other two duos would have done as well. I think all 4 of those characters were the highlights of the season, which is why Courtney and Owen returning annoys me so much as they over centralize the episodes on them when they aren't that interesting and kinda ruin the arcs already existing between those 4.
So seeing Harold vs Lindsey here is quite fun.

Beth being a finalist is the reason Action isn’t my top season, otherwise it probably would be
Duncan, Harold, Lindsay and Justin carried the season, Courtney was more an annoying brat than she was a schemer. Eliminating 3 out of the first 4 back to back to back killed the vibe, Lindsay’s elimination was awful, and Episode 23 is very forgettable

You’d essentially have a whole lot of TDI alliances coming back.
On one hand, (assuming that Geoff is on the left team and Bridgette on the right team because of their own placements in the middle) the old Bass alliance of Duncan, Geoff, DJ, and Courtney is back in business on Left Team. You’ve also got Gwen, Trent, and Leshawna working together on the same team. Tyler and Lindsay are likely allies, leaving Owen and Harold essentially screwed if they can’t stay out of the way, prove their usefulness in challenges, or cause drama among the two alliances.
On the Right Team, you’d essentially have two groups vying for control as well. Team E-Scope (consisting of Izzy, Eva, and Noah) is likely together. Likewise, Justin probably has the support of Katie, Sadie, and Beth. That leaves Bridgette, Heather, Cody, and Ezekiel up for grabs. Bridgette isn’t going anywhere near Eva, and neither is Heather. Beth won’t work with Heather either. I don’t see Ezekiel being invited to either alliance because of his past sexism. Cody, however, has a chance of getting onto Team E-Scope.
The way I see it, Heather and Zeke are most likely to be eliminated early for the Right Team, while Owen and Harold are most likely to go early for the Left Team.
After that, you have a war of alliances. I’d say that the friendship between Duncan and Gwen causes serious tension between Duncney and Gwent. Who knows how that turns out with Trent on the same team as Gwen and with Courtney there too?
On the other team, either Izzy or Eva is likely to mess up big and throw a tantrum (Eva did in TDI, Izzy did in TDA). This likely leads to Justin’s alliance dominating Right Team.
Overall, an interesting season at the beginning because of all of the drama and strategy, but likely grating by the end as uninteresting characters like DJ and Geoff make it through while annoying ones like Katie and Sadie also do.

I don’t think Bridgette would get eliminated in episode 3. She was a “surfer girl” so she probably would’ve done great in the surfing challenge so her team wouldn’t have voted her off even if they lost. Trent and Bridgette could’ve swapped places but the Gwen and Trent falling apart situation would’ve had to have been more rushed and I don’t think that could be done favorably. You could switch Bridgette and Izzy but Izzy being eliminated 2nd leaves a more favorable gap between her being eliminated and her coming back so it’s not like she leaves and comes back immediately. The only other thing I could think of is maybe in episode 4 along with Trent being eliminated Bridgette could quit? Maybe she couldn’t push herself to make it any farther without Geoff. They could even use an excuse for Bridgette being a host on Aftermath like Chris tells her off camera to quit she would have to host on Aftermath with Geoff and she agrees since she wants to leave to be with Geoff.

Imo, Eva could replace Geoff and Noah would replace Bridgette, they would have had more of a role, especially Eva, who was no longer used along with Katie and Sadie. (Katie and Sadie should honestly stay as a one dimensional contestant(s)
Eva honestly had more character and the Total 4X Drama redeemed her, her and Noah would have absolutely KILLED Justin (literally)
And with Izzy, it would be amazing if the Izzy, Noah and Eva alliance returned, that would be the stuff of gods.
In my opinion, this should have been the elimination order:
    16th/15th: Trent & Gwen
    *Teams Start*
*Team 1 - The Killer Grips*
    Leader - Noah
Members: Eva, Izzy, Duncan, Harold, Leshawna
*Team 2 - The Screaming Gaffers(was this the name of the team?)*
    Leader - Lindsay
Members: Beth, Justin, Heather, DJ, Owen
    My Way(It starts now):
14th: Owen (Honestly had no character this season, compared to Island and World Tour)
13th: Beth (What did she even do this whole season?)
12th: Heather (Not a major contestant anymore, honestly had no role this season other than being bald)
    *(Izzy Joins Team 2)*
11th: DJ (Quit because of Alliance with Chef)
    *(Owen Rejoins)*
10th: Izzy (Suffering their first loss, the team agreed to vote off Izzy since she barely helped in certain challenges and was plain crazy, Noah and Eva are now the only hope to eliminate Justin)
9th: Leshawna (Hated doing that, but everyone else just had a better role, sorry)
    MERGE (Courtney Joins)
    Remaining:
    Noah
    Lindsay
    Justin
    Eva
    Owen
    Courtney
    Duncan
    Harold
8th: Owen (Yeah no, just no, I don't see why he was brought back this season, he would have fit more in All Stars imo)
7th: Eva (Sadly, Justin manipulated Lindsay into voting Eva, Courtney wanted her gone and literally held Duncan hostage and made him vote her off, Noah is the last one left)
6th: Justin (Noah had convinced Duncan and Courtney that he was evil and to vote him off, Lindsay accidentally voted for him when she was supposed to vote Courtney instead, since she lost the challenge)
5th: Harold (He played a good game, but everyone else had bigger roles, especially Noah)
    4th/3rd: Courtney & Noah
Courtney: (She was annoying and Duncan had enough)
Noah: (Played a major game, needed this season to assure his iconic-ness in World Tour anyways)
2nd: Lindsay (THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN BRUH😭😭 But fr, she had more depth than her own friend, and this was HER SEASON, none of these vids about Action would have existed if Lindsay's voice actor didn't have a family matter (Idk if it was major, but whatever it was, I hope that family member or anything else is okay now.)
1st: Duncan (Relatable, keeping him as the winner just felt right, don't worry, Lindsay wins in certain countries)

Okay, so this vid is funny to me, because I didn't find it until after I started it, but I actually DO have a fanfic on AO3 that is a rewrite of TDA, which includes both of these characters in the cast! (It's called 'Total Drama Refilming Action' if you're curious. At the time of this comment, I've gotten up to Episode 15 released)
I find it interesting because in your Episode 14 you booted Noah, but kept Tyler in the merge. For me, it's the other way around.
Tyler's on the Gaffers and Noah's on the Grips, and other than that the teams aren't changed (Courtney gets on the Grips). Tyler is mainly the gag character in the Gaffers and the moral support as opposed to the others drama. He tries to be a team player but most of his attempts backfire, though Gwen in my version sticks around until Episode 13 with the Gaffers mad at her, so Tyler flies under the radar of people to eliminate. He and Lindsay are on different teams, but he tries to keep in touch with her anyway, despite her not knowing his name (and she never learns it in this season because it'd contradict WT). He finds out about Justin's schemes after the Gwen incident, and they clash a little, especially on how Justin treats the girls (respect women) (and in this version Justin actually does stuff).
Episode 14 is more so of a Tyler focused episode as he makes an attempt to be a valuable player, only to be taken advantage of by Duncan (Duncan and Courtney are in an alliance and a relationship), and turns out Lindsay becomes more competent with her helping him and her starting fire. He and Lindsay are forced to be against each other in the tar pit fight, but neither decide to hurt each other. Lindsay nearly gets caught by a paradactyl, but Tyler sacrifices himself to get her to safety and let her win the round. Despite him throwing the point essentially, he decides it's more important to help others be strong players rather than prove himself. And he and Lindsay are closer together despite Lindsay still not knowing his name.
Unfortunately Duncan lost the tiebreaker of that challenge, but Duncan is able to convince Heather and Leshawna to vote for Tyler to save himself. So Tyler leaves. But he's okay with it because in his mind, he didn't lose. (There's even a bit where Lindsay says that if she wins, she'll share the money with him)
As for Noah, he is on the Grips, and he immediately has beef with Justin. This is due to past history they had before the show. (They went to the same middle school, Justin was always president due to his looks, and Noah was the secretary, and Justin not only proved himself an irresponsible executive, but he treated Noah like dirt.) Noah KNOWS what Justin is about. So because he won Island, Noah plans to start an alliance with Owen and use him to gain strategies on how to win. Owen, being naive, sees this as a friendship, something that Noah, at this point in the show, is not familiar with.
This makes the Grips divided in two once Trent is eliminated, because Justin has Beth and Lindsay deceived, and Noah has Owen and Izzy (Because Izzy is Owen's chic and not into Justin). Justin and Noah have a brains vs beauty rivalry going on that starts drama for the entire Grips team. Beth is into Justin, but Justin is using her. Lindsay is stressed from the clashing and wants to prove herself as a leader. Owen is into Justin so he wants everyone to get along. Izzy is... Izzy. The big difference with Justin and Beth's alliance and Noah and Owen's alliance, is that Justin, at the point I'm at in the rewrite, has not changed his opinion on Beth. She is a tool for him and he thinks she's ugly. (Oh yeah my rewrite Justin is really narcissistic and hates ugly people) Noah on the other hand sees Owen as a tool at first, but overtime due to Owen's kind nature, Noah begins to actually like and care about Owen, and even see him as a friend.
Justin finds out about that friendship and plots to break them up in Episode 10. He does so by reminding Noah of their past and where that got him, making Noah want to prove himself as not like Justin, so Noah breaks it up with Owen. Unfortunately this breakup causes Owen to break his jaw and get medically evacuated from the game. (He doesn't come back.) Justin manipulated the situation to break the alliance clashing on the team. Owen's injury, Noah, not intentionally, caused it. This is guilt Noah will feel throughout the rest of the season.
(Owen is in the Episode 12 Aftermath, and he says that he has no hard feelings about it btw)
Izzy gets booted because she called Justin 'not cute' (again, Justin is narcissistic, and though Noah is sarcastic and insults Justin regularly, it also makes it less meaningful to Justin when Noah says it). So Noah has no more allies, and he isn't getting any from his team, because Beth and Lindsay are TICKED that Noah broke Owen's jaw. They think he did it on purpose when he didn't, and he has a bad way of apologizing. (This is the Grips version of the Leshawna spa incident. So both teams have a member that they are ticked at for something.) So you'd think Noah's screwed, right?
    No.
Along comes Courtney to join the team. And she has won every single challenge for the Grips up to the Merge. AND she single handedly has wiped out HALF of the Screaming Gaffers. (By Episode 13, The Gaffers had six people, Gwen, Heather, Duncan, Leshawna, Harold, and Tyler. By the Merge, it's just Duncan Leshawna and Harold left.)
Justin and Noah both realize this and that they have an even bigger threat than each other. They both know they need to do something about it and get rid of this CIT. They might even have to work together despite everything...
    And that's where I'm at.
I like your version though. I think Tyler's character arc is very interesting and it's nice to give Lyler some love.

You’ve got it a bit wrong.
Duncan - Great, but had too much plot armor and shouldn’t have made finale because of it. Loved his interactions with Courtney and Harold, though. Definitely helped carry throughout much of the middle and end of the season. Deserved final 4 or final 5. 8/10.
Beth - Not involved in any drama and didn’t have any reason to stick around after Justin left. Just a bland character tbh. Only worked as Justin’s pawn, and didn’t even get to really tell him off like she did Heather in TDI. Didn’t have chemistry with anyone else, really. Added nothing later on. 3/10.
Courtney - Breathed life into TDA, which had grown kinda stagnant with the Grips having no drama going on among them. Gave us a real antagonist too (Justin refused to lift a finger for anything and didn’t have any strategy beyond looking good). Definitely deserved her placement. 9/10.
Owen - Was fine at the very beginning, but shouldn’t have come back. Added nothing to the later episodes and just sort of got in the way of the real dynamics. 3/10.
Harold - Harold was awesome this season. He showed off his skills quite a few times, had great interactions with many other characters, and was quite funny a lot of the time. He definitely should have made it further than Beth. I think he deserves final 4 or final 3. 9/10.
Lindsay - Amazing development and humor. Lindsay really showed her stuff this season. She really did deserve to go further, as the only way the writers could axe her was by making her accidentally vote herself off. Deserved finale or final 3. 9/10.
Justin - Wanted to like Justin, and he was funny quite often, but he disappointed regularly as an antagonist. Didn’t do well in any challenges, didn’t try to keep the loyalty of Lindsay and Beth by contributing or charming them beyond a smile every now and then, and didn’t have any real merge strategy. 6/10.
Leshawna - Hated what they did with Leshawna tbh. Too much farting and too many depressing episodes. I do like the lying plot, as it shows a legitimate flaw of hers and threw the Gaffers into a good drama, but didn’t like how it was executed. 5/10.
Heather - Heather was fine, but too much of her character revolves around hair gags. I did like how shocking her elimination was, though. She was fine. Letting her get past the first episode was bs, though, as legit everyone would have voted her. 7/10.
Izzy - Izzy was entertaining as always. Her second elimination was kinda bs though, as Justin only did it because she said he wasn’t attractive to her. Would’ve been better if he did it because she’s the only one on the team who doesn’t like him. Still, Izzy did her job and left. Can’t be too upset. 7/10.
DJ - The cheating plotline was interesting, but DJ as a character kinda isn’t. He doesn’t have conflicts with the others, so I think him getting out early is good. Liked him enough. Probably the most interesting angle they could’ve done with him. 7/10.
Gwen - Gwen was good in the first few episodes and I suppose she did drive some good drama with getting Trent voted off. Because she was too attached to the 9-Trent plot, though, I’d say that I didn’t like her performance at all. Definitely deserved this placement. 3/10.
Trent - Completely ruined as a character and really didn’t feel like the guy from TDI at all. Trent could’ve been written to just be jealous of Duncan and therefore tried too hard to suck up to Gwen to prove himself better, only to make his team think of him as a traitor. This saves Gwent and doesn’t make the first few episodes terrible. Instead, we got 9-Trent. I hate 9-Trent. 0/10.
Geoff & Bridgette - Both were flanderized in the first two episodes, but I guess it’s fine because it’s an okay gag and the Aftermath segments were pretty interesting. Overall, liked them. 5/10.

I think that Harold vs Lindsay should’ve been the finale. In canon, Beth had no reason to be in the finale, I think the writers were too busy subverting expectations that they forgot who to consider as finalists. And I hate how Duncan won after bullying Harold the whole season.
Beth and Lindsay swap positions, Owen getting out in the space episode instead of Harold. Duncan and Courtney getting out in ep24 double elimination.

I know I'm quite late and it's a slightly unusual pick, but I'd replace Tyler with Katie (and give Sadie the elimination you gave Bridgette). I love Tyler but I think the possibility of Justin being able to manipulate Katie, who'd feel isolated with Sadie going out early, is a really interesting dynamic.
All the eliminations flow in the same order you laid out here up until after Justin is eliminated (normally where I stop watching). After this point we're left with Katie, Lindsay, Harold, Duncan, Courtney and Owen. You need at least one of Duncan or Courtney in the final 3, otherwise the dynamic is all off due to everyone being heroic.
This presents two elimination order options I see:
    A) 6th: Katie, 5th: Harold, 4th: Owen, 3rd: Courtney, Final: Lindsay v Duncan
    B) 6th: Owen, 5th: Katie, 4th: Duncan, 3rd: Courtney, Final: Lindsay v Harold
It's a bit annoying trying to decide her as I'm against late entrants/returning players being finalists or winning, so Owen and Courtney can't win, putting Katie in the final feels wrong and I don't want a m-m final. I think option A is probably the better of the two as Duncan and Lindsay clash better as finalists than Lindsay and Harold.
Tyler would've been a lot of fun and is awesome, but he really feels like his only plot is being in a relationship with Lindsay and kind of just ends up being carried through thanks to there always being someone else to vote off. Alongside this it makes the targeting of Beth over Lindsay potentially make more sense as Beth could help act as a glue keeping Lindsay attached to Justin & Katie or have her be the target of a boys alliance between Justin, Duncan and Harold as they are out-numbered.

    @Aminormal Před 10 měsíci

Also Sadie and Katie should have been on tdwt so when they both interacted with Alejandro they both fight and you know how Katie said that she is prettier than Sadie? Keep that in mind. So Sadie is sad and she goes to Lindsay since first season they were nice with each other and Katie goes to Alejandro and she says that “I feel like I did something wrong to Sadie because I said that I was more prettier than her” then Alejandro says that Katie is more beautiful and Katie blushed and then Alejandro says “ Katie you are more beautiful because Sadies body size… ehh but yours is perfect!” Katie was so mad that he said that about her BFFFL and she ran away from Alejandro and told Sadie what Alejandro said about Sadie. Sadie was furious and I feel like they could have got farther since Lindsay is robbed kinda early and Katies voice actor could voice Katie more and I feel like they could have made it to merge too! Since that whole scene happened with Katie and Alejandro then they had plot armor and I feel like they replace where Courtney and Blainely got sent out so like Katie got voted off because of some people voted her because they thought she was useless and they could use Sadie for votes after on. Sadie was heartbroken and she said “ Wait! I am coming with you!” Everyone is like saying Sadie to shut up and Sadie then says “ I hated when you were voted off in the first season! It was horrible! Do I am coming with you!” Chris then says that she can go because of the same reason like the blah blah blah and happy ever after for Sadie and Katie and OH MY GOD I SPENT SO MUCH ON THIS

And then with Tyler and Lindsay as a twi person alliance, they would vote off Harold. Then Tyker would intentionally sliw diwn so he can give Lindsay a fair chance, since it is what she would have wanted. And maybe Tyler could promise to give 3/4 if the money to Lindsay, with Lindsay promising to take Tyler and Beth to a tropical vacation, and Tyler accepting it, as he understands how important Beth is to Lindsay as Tyker is to Beth. Lindsay could promise to get some things fir Tyler as well.
